I would personally put Oberon on a slightly higher priority than Koyanskaya. Although both units are incredibly top tier, Koyanskaya gets another banner at the end of this year. Oberon's next banner on the other hand isn't until the end of 2024. If you prioritize Oberon, you can always try for Koyanskaya at the end of this year. If you prioritize Koyanskaya, you'll have to wait until the end of next year.

For those that don't have a lot saved, you should skip Morgan/Melusine first banners and prioritize getting Koyanskaya/Oberon first because with them, you can buster farm with other buster servants, you don't necessarily need Morgan/Melusine. Then if you have leftovers, go for one of Morgan/Melusine on their rerun banners, whichever you like more. There is really no wrong answer between the two, they are both really good. Melusine is stronger for the next year for 90+, Morgan has more long term staying power can can be used as pseudo support.

Totally agree with you on that one. I had exactly same thoughts and reasoning when I planned my gacha schedule. After wasting all my savings to get Castoria and hitting pity on Spishtar now I wouldn't risk that much to roll for Morgan before Koyan and Oberon. Also Morgan is in GSSR banner, so more chances.

I disagree with your reasoning, Castoria does more for all teams than Koyan does, and allows Arts looping. Koyan's usefulness is very limited to Buster looping. Sure, she's a 50% block charger, but as far as 50% chargers go, she's pidgeonholed. Castoria has the same 50% charge, durability, CQ capability, etc. This also means that Oberon is a higher priority than her too, since he supplements Castoria extremely well.

My 2 cents that no one asked for Priority is basically Castoria > Oberon > Koyan Castoria changes the game, and koyan adds variety. Oberon is a more versatile support, and allows for stupid damage in turn 3. Add to that the fact that you’d have to wait more than a year for oberon’s rerun and only 6 months for Koyan, and you have a solid argument for prioritizing moth man. In the end it depends on what your account has and as always Waifu >meta

Mélusine is unquestionably my first priority, and I will even skip Morgan for her. Mélu-ko's combination of her design, kit, character and lore all do it for me more than any other servant in this game. Will try to NP2 her initially (maybe higher if I get REALLY lucky), then finish up NP5 later this year.

I already have Castoria and Morgan is my favorite Arthurian character just in general so I'm prioritizing her then Koyanskya, then maybe Oberon.

Fyi, in my experience, Oberon's not only for Buster looping. He improves all and he's rather essential in 3T 90++ node which was released shortly after his banner in JP, iirc. His damage multiplier works for all card type, tho more significant on Buster especially. I use him a lot in Art comp team, rather than buster eventhough I have Artoria and Arcueid. My current looper for clearing 90++ nodes are IbukiZerker and welfare Ruler Iyo.

Castoria if you don't have her is priority because she still too good even on Jpn. However imo Pretender is special case as well since he's the first of his kind and his rerun kinda long. If I had choice between him or Koyan, I would choose him since she gets another rerun soon. Then round it off with Vitch. Rest of preference but I remember Chaldean Summer this year too, that going to hurt and I need Kama Summer in my life.

General rule of thumb is that Event/Banner Limited Servants always take priority over Story Locked servants. Story Locked will eventually be added to the "General Summoning Pool" meaning that you can get spooked by them even when not actively targeting them. By contrast, Event/Banner Limited Servants can ONLY be summoned during certain time periods, and ONLY by summoning on specific Banners. This drastically narrows your ability to obtain them, and also imposes a time window/limit for when you even CAN obtain them.

This summer is truly stacked with so many great choices. My priorities are simple: 1)Melusine - best and most universal DPS in the entire game counting JP. There is a boss who is not Saber? Throw dragon loli at him and it's done. 2)Koyan light - now Buster Servants can loop and destroy bosses more effectively. 3)Morgan on her second banner - best berserker (until Ibuki) and also works with "unkillable team". Plus she's just great. And Oberon... probably skip him. He's overrated af after all.

Put her with double Koyan Light and she can deal great damage to solo enemy, despite having AoE NP. And no, I'm not joking about Oberon. He is one of the most overhyped Servants in the game. People look at numbers on wave 3 with him and just go bonkers. But then you need to sit for a bit, and you realize that out of all most powerful supports he's literally the worst one. Yes, farming numbers with him are godlike, but you don't need this numbers most of the time, and when you actually may need them - 90++ for example - he's S3 burst may not be enough to seal the deal and after that your DPS is basically dead. Also outside of farming you practically will never use him because his demerits on S2 and S3 make it too risky for bosses and CQ.

That's kinda ridiculous coming from someone who's a Melu fan; Melusine literally stands on Oberon's shoulders. You see, while Oberons S3 is kinda overrated his 70% battery isn't. Melusine without Oberon on farming (which is her biggest strength btw) is stuck to a MLB Prisma Cosmos because her gimmicky nature doesn't allow her to run a Kscope or any starting charge for that matter. Out of all the supports, Oberon is the second best because Castoria is simply too broken. If you think outside singlecore stuff, Oberon with his 70% battery opens up a whole new plethora of multicore 6-slot comps. Even in CQs, he has a decent enough niche as turning any servant into a nuke. It's not hard to bring him out in the last turn and close the fight.

ST looping is completely unnecessary. You have access to cards in most of their use cases, which make it very easy to loop specially for an Arts servant with Castoria and there are far better options for STs than her. Hell, even SummerYu with SSkadi is a better DPS than Melu+Castoria unless you have like >NP4 Melu. There are even Arts 4*s like Kriem, Astrea and SErice who are better than Melu. As a Buster DPS, she ain't even better than ROMA in her own class much less Kuku, Tiamat, AA etc. Melu is most definitely overrated. No, the 70% battery is good for Quick/Arts too. Just use Obe S2 on T3, it's not that hard. Oberon's 70% helps top-tier Arts loop irregular nodes up to 1/2/x or 2/1/x without starting gauge in a CCO setup. That's not overrated.

Feels like ZTL should have made it clearer. Technically Castoria is part of the LB6 group of banners but this video is for the 4 new LB6/Anniversary servants. Obviously you don't have Castoria, Castoria should be the priority for every player, but that's not what this video is for. Secondly, I think ZTL does a lot (maybe even mostly?) of 90+ and not 90++ and that's probably why he prioritizes Koyanskaya. If you have a strong box and know that you will be mostly be doing 90++ then yes, bump Oberon up to the top in priority but for players that mostly do 90+, it's not really unreasonable to have Koyan higher just because she enables buster looping and Oberon is great but not essential for 90+ farming.

I've been absent for long of more than 3 years from FGO, my last login from the game is after LB 2 release and I've remember my account have around 500 fsq maybe less but when I login for first time one week ago somehow it shoot up to 827 for some reason and I just want to spent it for little. Surprise surprise, at first 1 sq that I've spent and I've got Melusine. Still got more than 800 now since I've clear LB3 but man this game is soo much different than what I've known it to be. This is crazy, soo much stuff and soo much new servant and lot of those servant, well how to say it... out of this world, their kit is beyond excellent. The biggest issue for me is that my high priorities of Koyan and Oberon come after Melu/Percy and Cas Cu. I'm F2P and the anniversary will push me above 1 pity, but just barely. I also want 2 copies of Magical Girl Sapphire, which also is set to come out after Oberon. I have Skadi and Castoria; I want Percy more than Melu, but I have NP5 Fionn with a max level 2nd append and don't really need either Percy or Melu; I loop well enough in arts without Oberon and my account is built enough that I can make some janky setups work if I need more damage - although Oberon is my next priority. Koyan is really the best option for me here, but that still feels bad bc there is so much more that I want. I'll probably toss a multi Cas Cu's way to see if I can get one last copy of him; my NP4 Cas Cu has been taunting me for years now.

Melusine can clear 3x 500k saber turn 3 so I don't even think class disadvantage matters if you can one turn the worst possible configuration. Her 0.5x damage is often already better than Morgan 1.5x damage

Castoria is still the best servant of the entire fgo. You have her -> you pull for anything You don't have her -> you pull for her. Koyan brings you a strong, reliable and consistent buster farming assistance, while oberon's usability is much wider than just buster (which is still the best case scenario for him obviously, but koyan is more important for it). Since i don't have many aoe buster damage servants, I'm going for the moth (and koyan right after him if i have any sq remaining) DPS and farming servants are much-much less valuable than supports. These three guys >>>>>>>>>> the entire FGO servant pool, because they're exactly the ones who make your damage dealers work.

you should have looked at it from a different perspektive, all the others will get other banners very soon while oberons next one is at the end of next year, this tells you more than enough who you should rool for. Also oberon is usefull for any card type, while koyan is only usefull for busterfarming (which requires you to actually have the units that can farm with her)

To be fair, EVERYONE will have a Buster farmer after Cu Caster strengthening. So farmer availability is not an argument. The ACTUAL argument is that Oberon+Support Koyan will give Cu Caster more damage when BG farming compared to double Koyan. T1: Cu Append (20%) S1(30%)+S3 and Koyan S1 (50%) (S3 CD 5>3) T2: Cu S3 proc (80%) + Oberon S1 (20%), Atlas on Cu Caster (S3 CD 2>0, use again) T3: Cu S3 proc (80%) + Oberon S2 (50%)

I have NP2 Castoria, so I don't need to gun for her. And because of that, and my Muramasa, I am not to fussed about Buster farming. So, Melusine is the best choice, to take care of those pesky Archers. Well, the ones with actual difficulty, anyway. Muramasa can deal with 30k or so HP Archers easily enough. Properly buffed, 60k is feasible, too. If it's just one unit in the 100k or so, by 3rd node he can crit the shit out of them. But why go through the trouble when I can get the nice Dragon?

I started playing the game just before the anniversary. The melusine banner had just launched. Using the beginner sq boost and sq from speedrunning singularities, I managed to pull Melusine without much trouble, but not before pulling an absurd 3 Baobhans and 5 Barghests. When the anniversary hit, I managed to pull both Koyan and Oberon with about 400 sq, and managed to pull Morgan fairly easily when she came up on a pop-up banner a few months later. Today, the 20M downloads promo banner launched with Castoria, who I managed to pull with only 4 tickets and 6 sq. I can also use the free SR ticket to get Percival in 2 days. I’m 100%ing the LB6 crew as a f2p beginner.

For me, Morgan, Koyan, Oberon in that order. Despite being a whale, I really only limit myself to one banner to go hard on each month depending on luck. Since Melusine comes back in the nothing month that will be December, I can comfortably skip out on her first time around. And also since our anniversary is in July rather than August, we'll have more time between Koyanskaya and Oberon to decide on priority.

Just want to add if any of you pulling koyan purely for buster looping. Be sure to learn about it fully. Certain servant needs some requirement to be able to do it. What read the most is MLB Kscope or NP gauge Append skill. Well good luck on your pulls

I prioritised morgan (still havent got her though (got 2 5 star drakes though because gatcha must of really wanted to go for the jewels, but at least i did get 3 barghaust and 1 Sith) My reason for said prioritisation was that I already have a copy of Merlin and castoria and I personally believe that Morgan provides the most balanced synergy and wide spread utility

If you can only get 1 between Oberon and Koyan id say Oberon over Koyan because his rerun is a lot farther away then Koyans. Just pull Oberon and then save for Koyan when she comes at new years.

Imo Oberon (over a year until rerun) > Castoria (arguably best servant ) > koyan (also broken but her rerun is near) > Melusine (great dps and looper but rerun is near as well) > Morgan (good dps and support but she has a ton of reruns)

Castoria should be first ngl, even with the context of her having frequent banners. A native Castoria is far more valuable than a native Oberon. With Oberon only you won't be able to do much.

I have 704 sq, 451 fragments and 100 tickets. I do not know if I will be able to have good odds getting more than 2 of the SSRs. So I am focusing on Koyan and Oberon. I want Melusine as well but her first banner is in a really bad place. I am counting for the worst case scenario where I need to pity both of the supports

Priorities for me are gonna be Oberon since I have a np 2 castoria. But my most anticipated release is summer kama since I didn’t get spishtar. Of course I’ll summon at least a little for Morgan and koyanskaya since waifu over meta and all that.

I agree with this order, I'll roll Morgan first cuz I can secure the supports, but even if I couldn't Morgan seems worth to me just for the invincible comp. The one I'm dropping for now is Melusine, seems cool and all but I can't afford her, maybe in a second banner if I have enough but dunno if it's relevant getting her, I aim for NP2 Morgan for that extra versatility on damage.

I pulled an NP4 Miss Crane a few months back and am now inspired to build my roster around that. Melusine has great star gen potential, so I'm going to try for her and Koyan. Other than that, I struggle to find other buster units to fill out my roster with. I'm even going to try for NP2 Zenobia a few months later, her being arts.

I got both muramasa ce(25% buster up) and 3 morgans in one 11 pull as a f2p yesterday. And that was the third ten-pull i did for her. Koyanskaya wanted only 100 pulls from me to get her and oberon even less at 40. My luck is spent for the next decade.

Honestly with my very bad luck i think i skip first banner of lb6 and focus on Koyanskaya and if something will be left of tickets and gems then i spend them on oberon. i mean i can try and get morgan but it will be pointless without *buster engine* soo yeah that my plan. i have two outcomes 1 my luck will work same way it did with S ishtar and muramasa or 2 it can work like it usually work in genshin aka like pile of crap and i get absolutely nothing.
