Well said, alot of people that had an addiction issue have like a permanent stain, like "yeah he's doing good but did you know he was addicted to ________ for years" people are people, shouldn't judge them forever over a mistake. Especially if they've overcame it and are doing really good. Respect to this couple keep on keeping on!

This story hit home with me. I’m a 31 year old stone mason who has been clean for over ten years. My wife and I met in recovery and now have two kids. My father is also clean and we run a masonry business together. I love watching success stories. Good luck to them with their recovery, family, and business. It’s a hard trade but totally worth it. Nice work fellas I wish I could come out there and give y’all a hand!

Until today it never dawned on me you're proving to the younger generation that you can be extremely successful in the trades. While I was in school it was driven into us that the only way to be successful was to go to college and at beast get a bachelors degree. Thankfully I had parents that didn't push for that and even had a couple teachers in high school that didn't push that agenda. I'm in my mid 30s now and do remodeling and am extremely happy and love what I do. I have classmates who went to college and are still trying to establish a career most of which aren't even working in the field of their degrees. Thank you for putting this out there.

Ryan I’ve been watching for 6+ months now, it was such a relief to hear a little about your Christian faith. I could see it in the modesty of your family and the the way you carry yourself when things aren’t going well, that says a lot about you as a husband, father, and a man of God. It always left me longing to hear how you kept yourself so grounded or why your so positive.
