Just a suggestion for the money. Food pantry or food pantries. I was in line at the grocery store and a lady in front of was in tears not being able to afford the essentials for her family. I did help her and got her groceries and afterwards we were talking and she is a single mom and with the increase in everything lately was just couldn’t make ends meet. Was also saying she wouldn’t be able to do a thanksgiving dinner due to cost of food. The food pantries in my area have an increased in their needs by 85% in the past 2 years. I did make sure she would be able to have thanksgiving with her family. I am blessed that I could do this for her. Or maybe if your church has a pantry could donate it to them.

I remeber when I did paving for the first time. The binders and chains were my enemy. The boss would yell and get all sorts of mad because it took me a minute to figure it out and he had no patience in the morning. Its good to see someone teach another instead of pushing them out out the way and yelling. If you dont know ill show you if your not good at it ill make you keep doing it until you are.

You can always do the addition and still have room for that nice patio you described and add a covered sitting area for when it's raining. Go look at north west sawyer he doesn't alot of milling his own lumber with a portable mill but he does this really cool covered fire pit with a sitting area you might find really nice and want to do.
