Good review. I do find it a little odd that I see criticisms of this game and Curse of the Dead gods not having enough content (with x3 Biomes and bosses + side bosses) when Hades is called a "masterpiece" . Saw you call Hades a masterpiece in your previous tier list video with literally the same amount biomes, how come you think Hades is a masterpiece but this needs more Biomes? On your comment about this could have x5 chapters I disagree , runs are already an hour long that would be too much So although I agree that both this AND Hades could use more variation I find it surprising you praise one and criticize the other ? Not to mention this game has x9 characters with completely diff playstles and way to build them.

I think this is a fair observation, I should explain better, what I am saying is it should have multiple POTENTIAL biomes, mix up the chances, similar to what I said about the number of bosses. Plus I do say it is a criticism because I want more, you make a good point about the length of a run though, particularly as you cant stop during a run. My hypothesis as to the reason Hades doesn't get the same level of criticism, or type of criticism, is that there is more game, there is the home base, the materials, the relationships which makes the fact there are less biomes less obvious, plus during a run in Hades you still have more choices of the rooms etc rather than just the 1 map. The number of characters is 100% a major plus on this, Hades has the different weapons instead. Love your comments as it is well constructed and thought out, can tell you are lover of Roguelikes, any suggestions of other reviews. Plus planning more content on Ravenswatch! Much appreciated

And yes I am a lover of Rogulikes , I jsut think Hades is crazy overrated as I found it away more repetitive compared to Curse or this (personally) but that's mainly because I didn't like the spammy combat When it comes to the Rooms in Hades I mean that's just choosing your reward rather than a path, I don't think it adds to variety. Either way I do agree Ravens could do with more variation in the way it plays but I think the characters are quality so I love it and beating the game on all heroes at difficulty x4 will keep me busy for sure. My Fav RL of all time are (obviously) Spire, DeadCells, Curse of the dead gods. But In terms of what Id suggest here are the most underrated RL in my opinion: Ziggurat 2 Deadlink (best combat by far) Revita Synthetik Griftlands (kinda doesn't really count as more campaign game but loved it) Monster train
