Whatever you all decide to do, we (your fans and friends) will be ready to see what adventures you three take! I, personally, love the HH name! I'd keep it..."Hollywood" could refer to the quality of your awesome pieces, and "Haunter" fits the seasonal aspect of your channel. Happy belated Halloween you guys and happy early Thanksgiving!

Don't think of Hollywood Haunters as description but as more of a brand-name... earned. I have to admit I watch you guys from a home haunters perspective but, even your non Halloween videos have given me inspiration and ideas. I personally think it's both of yours creativity that makes us fans ... regardless of the subject. To sum it up ... don't change the name ... more videos !!!

Hi guys!! I’ve been following your channel for many years now and all I can say is: 1) I don’t think the channel title is as important. Roseanne was changed to The Conners. 2) please just keep making projects!!! Your creativity, nostalgia, craftsmanship, talent, ideas, excitement is what we’re here for!!! Doesn’t matter if it is a haunt, the ghostbuster’s Firehouse, giant pumpkins, Castle Grayskull, giant McDonald’s Halloween buckets, giant Jack-o-lanterns (lots of big stuff, lol), the Jungle Cruse sign … it’s all soo cool! No matter what projects you tackle, they are always fun to watch!! I love seeing how something is made. I love hearing about ideas and seeing the need to make those ideas a reality. It’s that “Walt Disney spark” that you have, I have, and I’m sure your followers have. We’re creative idea makers!!! So no matter what, I’ll still watch so long as you’re around!!

Kansas City would love to have you! They go all out for the holidays (the Plaza in Christmas time & The Beast in Downtown KC in October). It has all the seasons. Do note, there are hot weeks in Summer (no more than Cali), and some really cold weeks in early Winter (18-24 degree days here & nos)…but aside from that? It’s beautiful. Especially Fall & Spring. Lived in SoCal (Garden Grove) for 25 years, but have had family in KC for my whole life. Been another home. And this Summer? Will be my true home! Making the move out of SoCal as well (too hot, too crowded, too polluted, no water, etc, etc.). That said, I’ll still be making it a point to visit Midsummer Scream as an annual tradition. Some things I’ll miss, but having the seasons and less crowds and clean air? Can’t beat it.

I agree with a lot of the comments. I’ve noticed over the years you’ve inspired a lot of people to bring back some good old fashion door to door trick or treating with people wanting to build and decorate their yard and houses. With y’all’s talent especially with the Halloween communities and groups that we are in. You would help a lot of people just videoing more in depth for details that help bring our builds more realistic. Sorry for the late reply.

Been with you since the early days and will keep watching no matter which direction you decide to go in. Personally if it was me I wouldn’t change the name, Hollywood Haunter is how you started, where you came from and its how everyone knows you. It’s your brand! Even if you go over to Florida (which would be a great place for you guys - warm and wet) you can still keep the name. No one complains about Disney’s Hollywood Studios do they 😉

While change is difficult, it is also necessary, for growth and having new adventures. Halloween & home haunting is why I originally started watching your channel, however I come back to your channel more for the "how to" content than anything else. Your joy and passion for creating is infectious. Personally, the content I consume most is always about creatives making things, whether that is baking, art, prop building, or curating a thoughtful collection. I don't know anything about the time, energy, labor and cost of running a KZbin channel, or if you can just have two channels instead of one, but hopefully all of the content you have already shared will not go away. It is a nice library of information. Hollywood Haunters new name could be..."MAKER - Family - Adventures" or "Adventures in MAKING." As your interests and talents and passions are taking you in new directions, a name that speaks to a general constant (MAKING STUFF) but is a wider umbrella. Whatever you decide, you should be proud of what you have accomplished thus far and THANK YOU for sharing your creativity and your process and passion with other creatives, and those who want to be more creative. BRAVO!

Originally the builds brought me to the channel.. I have to admit I still love the building processes. I understand the struggle trying to grow the channel and figure out what you base audience wants to see. Personally I’ll be following along no matter what, but you may look at what videos have got the most traction, views and comments, and head that direction. It’s hard to say. Good luck guys, looking forward to see where you go

Keep your channel name. You've established the name, and it means something, it's your roots. I've always enjoyed watching the projects. Doesn't matter if it is haunted or fun. The teaching on the skills, and the fun and vibrancy that you exude. I can't wait to see where you end up and the adventures you're going to have. If you come through utah, give a shout. Plenty of adventures to be had here.

I have really appreciated watching your KZbin videos. That said putting Harrison & family events needs should come 1st. ( I've really enjoyed watching Harrison growing up.) As for calling yourself Hollywood haunters, it's become your video identity, so please stay with the name no matter where you go. Your not the only one who didn't get to do very thing planned , I sold my 1939 Cape cod ( in MN farm country) and bought a 1914 American four square ( also in MN farm country) just over a year ago and gave away most of my home made Halloween ( it made 2 families Halloween, in 2 different towns). So I ended up making stuff house specic ( based on storage space & how my stress & home projects inspire.). This year I made wahat I call a estate sign & bride of Frankenstein memorial statue. Bottom line because I moved, I've down sized and refreshed my perspective on how much my yard needs. I did finish my projects but because I had foundation work done my yard wasn't safe I had to turn off the lights & hide in the dark. That nearly broke my heart because this is the 1st year in many the weather was perfect for my display & I couldn't risk the kiddos getting hurt. I just had I idea to run pass you both... Hollywood haunters & Beyond ( kind of like toys story line... To infinity and beyond.) Basically include Hollywood hunters cuz that is a very big part of your identity, any adjustments to you KZbin name should simply reflect past, present & future. So maybe Hollywood hunters creativity and beyond. You get my drift. Anybody? Who knows you from Hollywood hunters will look for your future work under Hollywood hunters, so keep the Hollywood haunters part. Oh, I have a sister in Littleton Colorado & they get snow & cold but it's not usually long bitter biting cold for a week or more like Minnesota gets. Or simply go where family is. Has always I appreciate your endeavors and hope your family has the merriest of holiday season.

Just finished watching this video and I’m excited for you and your new adventure. If you’re thinking about changing your name, how about “Retro Haunters”? Also, instead of creating new channels it might be easier for you to stay on this channel but create playlists for all of the different things you do. Blogging, antique finds, building, specific builds by name i.e. Ghostbusters or giant pumpkins etc. But whatever you do I’m sure it will be fun and creative b/c that’s just who you are.

You guys are great together I watch a little bit of everything you do. I'm also very nostalgic and you guys bring so much of that to the table. Don't change you your name just add to it. Like for example, "Hollywood Haunters and nostalgic builds". Because really at the end of the day your builds are Hollywood quality amazing material, and no matter if it's He-man, ghostbusters, or just halloween your talent looks professional and I couldn't think of a name more fitting than Hollywood haunters!!

I've been watching you guys since the giant haunted house facade you built ages ago, and whenever I see an upload from your channel I light up because I never know what to expect, but I know it'll be fun. You two, I should say three, are so positive and entertaining and inspiring and I enjoy going along with whatever you upload. My favs are definitely the builds, the Pick r' Treats, and the vintage hauls. Also, I think you guys should keep the name, it's iconic at this point, and it's representative of where you all began the channel.

Guys, keep it Hollywood Haunter. I love all of the content you two put out and it doesn’t matter what holiday it’s for. You figured out how to make really great tutorial videos and you make it fun and entertaining. Shoot, I’d watch you guys build a mini golf course with garden gnomes. The stuff you teach can be used for so many projects and that’s the best part. I think I’m like most haunters, I have too many unfinished projects and not enough time and sometimes I get bogged down about that and then I watch a HH video and I’m right back into it. Now, if you move we would love to have you here in the Buckeye State. We don’t have 4 seasons, we have like 10, just find Laney on TikTok, she’ll tell ya. Plus, we have water, so much of it. You can’t swing a dead cat around here without it getting wet. Whatever you decide, whatever you build, I know I am going to watch it. You two are one of the most creative couples and how you make your ideas come to be is awesome. The builds and the painting are next level and you get mostly everything from Lowes or HD. If I could spend a week learning how to build and paint with you guys I would love it.

You guys made the name built it and gave it a value to behold. You've spent the time making it and you've earned the right to take it wherever you go. Wherever you go you'll have a great time, because that's what you bring with you.

I love the alliteration of the name "Hollywood Haunters." Remember Hollywood is not a location as much as it is a state of mind in the American lexicon. It symbolizes the dream factories of film studios located in California which helped the world escape the troubles of their daily lives. When I tune into your videos, I want to watch the interaction of your family building props. It inspires me help create a bit of "Hollywood" in my life. No matter what is you are making, I love watching it come into reality. The more fatastic or fanciful, the better. Additionally, one may be "haunted" year round. Even the brilliance of Charles Dickens thought to use ghosts as a story telling convention in 'A Christmas Carol.' So I would love to see how your minds would build some haunted props from my favorite haunted holiday story.

You guys are in my friends circle. We may not see each other face to face much these days, and I watch your videos to keep in touch. I get why you would move out of CA. For my own reasons, I'm tired of Cali. Too hot, all the time, too crowded, too expensive, too restrictive, too much traffic etc. So, I will miss you not being my neighbors, and wish you the best where you move to. We can stay in touch. I have long come to think of Hollywood Haunter as a props and sets company. Keep the name, no matter where you are. Being a builder and maker, the greatest value to me in the videos you make is the making and building of sets and props. I learn from you. I'd like to keep learning!

Move to Katy, Texas, a suburb of Houston. A bustling growing small town flavor, but not a small town. Beautiful homes, and open land close by to buy and build on. Great schools, too. In Texas you get more house for what you pay for in California and Arizona. There are plenty of gorgeous new neighborhoods to choose from. You may be surprised to find that what you're paying to rent there, you can actually but here, and have more room to boot. It's hot in Texas, but not as hot as Arizona. Try visiting on vacation to see what you think. We Texans are very friendly and welcoming...🤠Wherever you guys move, I will always watch.. Keep the name Hollywood Haunter, because to me, the builds are making props to put on a show. And, not far in Houston, there is the theater district, I think you two would enjoy. So, that notion of "Hollywood" could fit in anywhere. You still can have other categories under the name. But, if you alter it, maybe, "Hollywood Haunter and More." Whatever you decide to do, I'm good with it..Thanks Guys!!

I was torn on a name for that same reason, that’s why I went with a play on my name Mike Hill to MyKill Hobbies because I do every holiday and other things also. Love your channel and will support whatever you decide. What a great couple with awesome energy. “Hollywood Haunters 50 states of fun”. I wouldn’t worry about the Hollywood or the Haunter because once you start putting the content out in the direction you decide you can just play off that name and retain the following.

1) I watched you more back in your haunt days-building flats, solving lighting-but of course you will do what’s right for you. 2) There is a lot of history behind the Hollywood Haunters name. As long as you are Halloween related, I say keep the name. I don’t care where you live or what part of Halloween you focus on. 3) I grew up in Texas. It was hell. As soon as I reached adulthood I moved to California. 30 years later I had to move back to hell for five long years. I wouldn’t even hang a picture on the wall, because I wanted out so badly. I ended up in the Redmond/Kirkland/Bellevue area of Washington. I should have moved my family here a decade ago. Look into it.

Follow your hearts! Do what makes you happy. I just like watching your amazing creativity and imagination in play. Personally I think you should keep the Hollywood Haunter name.. I don’t think it matters that you don’t only do Halloween stuff.. or that you don’t live in Hollywood anymore.. I think it’s part of your story, and something that links you to your past as you move forward in to your new adventures.. but again, if you feel it needs to change, you do you 😃 It made me smile when you talked about Harrison being scared of Halloween stuff even though he’s grown up around spooky stuff. This describes my kids perfectly. Finn genuinely doesn’t know any other way of celebrating Halloween than big and spooky.. but despite this both my kids are massive scaredy-cats 😂. Even when I buy new props, I have to gently introduce them to the kids. We even have to give our animatronics non threatening names like Geoff so they think of them more as members of the family than scary props 😂😂! Having kids changes so much in your life, and definitely gives you a different perspective on life. Genuinely.. as I’ve gushed before.. your videos and creativity has been a massive inspiration for a guy like me across the pond. I’ve been watching your videos for years now.. and it wouldn’t make a difference to me if you never made another Halloweeny thing ever again and changed your name to Christmas elf vlogs.. I’d still tune in because your videos are always so good and I just like seeing the amazing stuff you create and I’m looking forward to seeing your future adventures.. whatever form that takes. Thank you so much guys for the awesomeness from your weird friend from England ❤😂🎃👻💀

I enjoy watching you making stuff. All the stuff, regardless the use, weather it’s a play space for the little guy, the western town or straight up Halloween. I knew you were located in Hollywood but to me at least, Hollywood is more about your next level skill/determination/etc. I would definitely keep the channel name even if making stuff were only a small portion.

First, try Northern Oregon, near the coast. Temperate, low snow, but lots of rain, so keep that in mind. Second, I love the inspiration I get from your projects, so why not do things for all the Holidays? Smaller scale projects with the occasional break out big thing? Projects you might do for your local school? Maybe even scaling single projects for different budget levels? Just a thought. I like the name you guys already have, but Holiday Haunter might work. In any case, may your adventures be good ones, whatever you decide.

I have lived in California, and my wife and I lasted 9 months. We got the heck out of their. I grew up in the Northwest, Washington state a very beautiful place. However, I left .because of the dark and cloudy days. I also lived in Texas. I loved it their, however I hated "Texas heat" in the summer. The humidity during May to October was unreal. Currently, I live in Colorado. It has four season, but very dry. I also had to get nasal surgery because of the dryness here. Also, Colorado is becoming very crowded. We are planning on moving and I looking into Georgia. Georgia does have movie studios, since the both of you worked in the industry. Also, Georgia has four season, lots of water, and mountains as well. Maybe, Georgia would be worth a visit for you guys as well. Best of wishes and go for it with the name change. Change is sometimes needed.

I love you guys. You will always be Hollywood Haunters to me no matter where you live or what projects you work on. I'm a long time subscriber and it was your facade videos that inspired me to do a big facade for my haunted house for my community. I have learned and grown so much as a prop builder because of you. I have been inspired by your projects for years. I no longer worry about if I can get something done. I have learned from you that if you have a vision you can build the skills and knowledge to do almost anything. I also love all the other content because it makes me feel like part of your family. You are amazing. IMO keep the name and keep sharing your thoughts, projects and skills. Everything you put out is gold. It doesn't have to be about subscribers or growth of the channel. Keep it simple and just keep doing what you love to do and people will follow. Hugs and Love from Canada.

You guys are so awesome! Keep doing what you do and I’ll continue to watch. I do miss the all out haunts but completely understand your situation. We’ve been looking for somewhere to go to get out of the insane heat and we’re excited to check out northern AZ being from Las Vegas. Hope you guys find your perfect place to wow your neighbors, and I’ll be here along for the ride no matter what! :)

Come to UT! A thriving Halloween/DIYer community here, awesome recreation w/in 30 min drive from SLC and way more affordable housing than that of CA (though it has been rising as other Californians have been getting wise to the beauty and many offerings this state provides and causing a housing boom over the last few years).... You'll find all four seasons here and some great schools for Harrison to attend as well. Since it is a school choice state, you can send him to whatever school of your choice (including charter schools) to ensure he gets a good education. It really is a good place to grow up and raise a family overall. If UT interests you, you should consider looking at Tooele county as an alternative to Salt Lake County because it is far enough away from SLC as to avoid a lot of the traffic that is typical of larger city life, bit still close enough you can get to the city within a 30 min drive. Also, a good place to secure acreage for building another western town or whatever big dreams you have for the future. As far as your channel is concerned, as an avid Halloween enthusiast and DIYer myself I really enjoy watching content that shows the tools, techniques, and planning process that goes into creating your amazing builds. As a visual learner, it helps a lot to see the process in action and learn different techniques to accomplish different results. This is one thing that I really enjoyed about your earlier western town videos. Would love to see more content like that in the future. Whatever channel name you decide on, I'll keep watching! Just keep the videos coming! Best of luck on the future...

I have only discovered you guys in the last month. I have binged on the haunts you have toured… but I have so much enjoyed the “maker” part of your energy. I would love to see anything you make and enjoy doing. The important thing is to do what brings YOU joy! Keep it simple and one channel and don’t think you need to change your name, that’s your brand,! And it dose t matter where you live. I’ll keep watching as long as you are doing creative things!❤️❗️

The randomness is part of why I like your channel. The way you work and life us very relatable because we like similar things and are also prop makers. So to me, the types of things you include totally make sense. They are connected. Look at Adam Savage’s Tested for example, they create playlists on their channel for all the different things they do, which are also loosely connected. Anything from Adam building stuff, showing fav tools, other people of the Teated crew showing it building stuff, podcast type discussions, VR stuff, vlogs from Cons etc etc I agree with many people above, keep the name for the channel and maybe sub divide it into the 3-4 themes for things you do like vlogging (“Thecworld of J and C”), Making Stuff, Vintage and Home decoration or something. Looking forward to seeing what you will do next, and am excited for you to start a new chapter. Wish we had run into each other at some point while you are still here in SoCal (we’re in Orange County), because I know we’d get along! 🤓 Wish you all the best in your future endeavors and will always refer back to a lot of your build vids for great tips and tricks! Thanks guys!🎃🎃🎃

#1 Don’t change your name!!!! You have put 10 years into your brand. My hubby said look at Nike. That is a nothing word 😂but it works!! If you must change… I liked Hollywood Haunters Holidays and hubby likes Hollywood Holiday Haunters. #2 I’ll watch anything you all care to do. I’ve been here since before Harrison and part of the joy is watching you all grow as a family. #3 YES turn that camera on more! I’d love to see you at the swap meet or estate sales! #4 If moving is what you want, cool take us all on the adventure! #5 one thing I’ve heard over and over from creators and in researching is to set a schedule for new videos and be consistent in your uploads. Now personally I subscribe so I’ll see your videos no matter when but evidently loads of people don’t do that 🤷🏻♀️ Whatever you all decide, as long as I’m breathing, I’ll be here to see what you guys create. Good luck on this new adventure. Much love 🧡🖤🧡🖤🧡

I've been watching your channel for ages... Back when you built the house in front of your house. But people change and want to explore new things and I think that's valid. It's also hard to be a yt creator when what you do is large scale projects. It's hard to crank out a new video every week when you're working on a project for a month or more. But y'all are great! And I'll keep watching whatever you decide to do. 😁

I can say: I've been watching the both of you guys since 2006 & it's a pleasure enjoying the two of you having so much fun at whatever you guys did back then. Either it was Halloween or Christmas & now with Harrison in the mix I can totally understand the reason why he's afraid of some Halloween decorations or props. He'll eventually will grow out of being afraid of it all & who knows he might be like Chris doing all kinds of projects for people. Now if your deciding on moving how about sout IA. Here we do get the 4 seasons and it doesn't get too hot or too cold. I had to downsize to move from a 3 floor house to a small cozy 2 floor home here in south iowa. There's a lot of houses to either buy or rent here. You guys are family to all of us on here. I do think you should call yourselves Jeana and Chris for sure. I definitely get it too. No matter what you guys decide I am with you from here. Have a Happy Thanksgiving day from me your friend / family

Hi guys, Balsam the company after doing my homework is a company specializing in high quality decorations like the oversize Christmas bulb or presents decorations the only negative for me is I believe it's made from resin material. I personally fiberglass would be better. If only you two can establish an constant business. Your selling point would be high quality made decorations, props. E.t.C. And as far as prices you getting what you pay for. I just admired people like you two with an compassion too create designs and having fun doing it. The only key is demand a market for your creativity. Customers would be owning pieces that last for years too come

My son (also named Harrison) was exactly the same, guys. He grew up on all my Halloween gear and was obsessed with our props but once he hit a certain age (around kindy/year 1, so it sounds like a similar age) he started becoming quite afraid of things that he had previously loved. There's still a few things he's really unsure of now even at 7 years old (the odd jump scare doll girl and spiders, mostly) but he still LOVES Halloween. He loves the costumes, the displays, the parties etc. I've just had to adjust our displays the last few years and he's always a good indicator of where the line is. We're also renting since moving almost 2 hours away and our decorating has been much more low key than where we lived previously. The last year or two his love for Halloween has really started to ramp back up, though. He has school friends come by to check out our display (which admittedly, in Australia are always a lot smaller than most of the haunts I see on your channel) but his eagerness to celebrate Halloween has inspired me to get right back into it again next year once our house is finished and we're no longer renting. So I'd say keep exposing him to Halloween! Show him how fun it can be! It's important for your kids to see you passionate about things in life. It's also a great way to engage him creatively and teach him some life skills. You may need to dial back the intensity for a few years and do more "kid friendly" displays, but I guarantee it won't be long before he's helping you make props and even wanting to be involved with scaring the trick or treaters! Also, you have to keep the name. Hollywood Haunter is iconic! It's who you are. The content can grow and change, but don't throw away a decade of brand recognition because you've moved or focusing on other things as well. Whether you're building haunts or not, I can tell you are haunters down to your bones, so it will always be appropriate. Don't overthink it. Good luck and whatever direction you go, those of us from all over the world who have watched you for years will continue to support you. The best part of your videos are the two of you. Your chemistry and attitude and humour. That's why people subscribe, not just because you've made some cool things over the years.

I wish I could catch that sale! I think a broader scope channel and brand (name etc) will be good. I joined up at the beginning of the Ghostbusters firehouse build but discovered you looking for the haunt info. I would keep it all on the same channel but come up with a broader scope name with maybe (formerly Hollywood Haunter) in parenthesis or something for a year or so.

Wow, uhmm I don't even know where to begin. I could ramble on and on about all your concerns and questions. I've watched you guys from the very beginning and you have inspired me so much, I feel the need to help in any way I can (like trying to give you the best feedback to make your lives easier). I feel such a connection with you guys on the whole retro, Halloween, haunter, having a son like Harrison (at our age), living in S. CA, being a creative and not finishing projects, trying to come up with a way to make my life easier thing.... like I totally understand where you are coming from, I AM YOU GUYS (minus having an audience or channel), it's so crazy! Except I'm a little more alone, because my husband is more on the techy analytical side and doesn't help me, or like holidays, lol. Hey, maybe he can help you guys find the best deals on upgrades. We have covid right now so there isn't much else we can do at the moment lol. So here's the thing about the name... You have already made yourselves a name as "Hollywood Haunters" so I don't think it matters that you haven't lived in Hollywood or that you guys do more than just haunter stuff. But that being said, we do know that the Hollywood Haunters are "Chris and Jeana" and I think it's an advantage that your name is not spelled like the typical Gina, so "the Chris & Jeana channel" does pretty much say it all. And maybe you can add a tag like "aka (or formerly known as) the Hollywood Haunters." Or how about "The Creative Adventures of Chris & Jeana" Or "Our Life as Creatives" Something all encompassing. Can I tell you Jeana that I totally felt like you when it came to the McDonald's buckets. Unfortunately I didn't get the pumpkin to complete my collection. In my area they had everything BUT the pumpkin, and I didn't have the energy to hunt one down this time. I'm a little stuck like you guys are right now. I'm needing to pair down as well to feel like I can handle change. I've had the time right now but not the energy until today. We wanted to move out of CA too, but both Tim and I are from Culver City and I think it would be too hard to take the CA out of both of us at this point no matter the dryness/fires (and we had a close one this year). I think it would be great for you guys and Harrison though, and just to have your own property and space to be even more creative would be awesome! But man will I miss not seeing you guys at local conventions. And please let me know when you sell things. I will drive to your valley all the way from mine to own "Hollywood Haunter" stuff, and you know I will cherish and take care of it. Told you I would ramble...Tristan told me to stop typing now, lol. This video felt like I was hanging out with you guys at your house and we were just talking about life challenges. I like seeing the process of how you make things, but I do like these honest talks as well, makes me feel like I'm not alone with all of these thoughts & feelings.

I love your videos and your channel. I found your channel with the build of the white house facade. But if you're looking to move, Atlanta is the Hollywood of the south. You can move like 20/30 miles out from the city, find plenty of land for a lot less than Cali. It's hot and humid in July/August, but not too cold in the winter and we get snow, but it doesn't last for ever...Atlanta would be great.
