You really do deserve more for what you put in, it is weird why youtube does this to someone so dedicated and talented.

I'm a new visitor to this channel (found it through the music weirdly enough) and I gotta say: I don't think KZbin CAN die. I don't even know if such a concept applies to KZbin, as monolithic as it is and as infinite as it's revenue stream seems to be (through the trillion-dollar titan that is Google). But I know what you meant through this video: that KZbin would become unviable for the people who make ART (like you), as opposed to just "content." And even here I disagree, and I don't want that to happen. If you started your channel in 2015, then you were around for: the Vine boom (hehe get it), the original TikTok craze, the Twitch takeover, the Tumblr exodus, etc. Websites on the internet are inherently somewhat unstable, because people are unstable, and groups will by coincidence or by peer pressure phase in and out of different interests and modes of consumption for their entertainment. But ever since 2005, KZbin has filled at least some kind of niche for independent high-investment creators to plant their flag and show the world what they can do. And this has persisted throughout multiple adpocalypses, the complete incompetence and repeated failures on the part of KZbin staff and management, creators getting canceled and exposed left and right, at least 7 major layout changes, and almost 20 years and just under a billion hours of video uploaded within that timeframe. KZbin is a lot of good and bad things but one thing nobody can disagree with is that: KZbin is persistent. As for Beastification: I think it would be just a bit shortsighted to assume the "meta-build" of KZbin for 2024 will continue to be that way for even 5 more years, let alone the rest of this website's lifespan. Vlogs gave to let's plays which gave to commentary videos which gave to react content which gave to [insert whatever the hell happened in 2021] which gave to the meta we have now. But if I can be so bold as to point out: who actually cares about the popular videos that make it to trending? Even if the Beastification of KZbin completes (which it most likely won't, it's just a buzzword), most people I know already have their recommended pages curated to the videos THEY like. The "meta-build" can only ever take up so much of the total bulk of new videos uploaded to this platform at any given time, even if from a certain angle it may look like everyone's only doing the bare minimum to grind and get their bag. There are a million tryhard no-soul teenagers making whatever vapid content they THINK will make them rich with little to no effort WORSE than the top-dogs, and it will always be that way. And that's okay, because it doesn't in any way detract from the cool people posting REAL art onto this website: making it irreplaceably valuable to millions of people. And I'm paraphrasing heavily this from EmpLemon who made a similar video about similar concerns all the way back in 2017: "If you don't like what you're watching: STOP WATCHING IT, and go find someone better, and don't stop until you find someone who makes genuinely entertaining and good content." That sentiment will always work, regardless of what the majority believes the best way to be successful on this platform "really is." The Outer Wilds comparison and artistic motifs are very much appreciated from a fellow OW cult member, but in my opinion they're not applicable here, and that's a good thing. The stars aren't going anywhere, and if you believe in your own ability to make something truly special, you might just get the chance to become one yourself. And considering you literally composed your own music for a

Damn! Thank you for taking the time to right all this, that genuinely puts some of my fears to rest! I think it is a bit short-sighted of me to think that *this* will be the apocalypse event that does youtube in; which is great, because I was hoping to be wrong!

Hello this will be a long comment but meaningful! I've been watching you since about prodigy era, Which give or take 2 years or 3. I sadly didn't have a YT account then so I was just able to watch it, and not really do much now, Now I can so I'm reaching out to inform you On how really Good your content is, and I've had some rough times in life, and I used your videos as an escape from that pain that I suffered, and it helped a lot, if that was to distract me or just give us all a good laugh you did that, and I humbly thank you for that, I hope this channel is able to grow as it did previously, Keep up the Great work! (PS Prodigy Math got updated a lot and you can battle the puppet master etc, FAQ, Will you be returning to it?)

Great video, I think just like how KZbin was so different 10 years ago it will be almost unrecognisable in 10 more years so it’s almost constantly changing henceforth will never die.
