Just to think The Roosters offered Shaun Johnson 800k and he turned it down, they dodged a dud right there. They miss Mitch Barnett big time he's that Aussie workhorse that doesn't back down. All those old guys are letting the team down Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Shaun Johnson, Tohu Harris, Addin 'I don't wanna be here' Fonua-Blake, Jazz Tevaga. They don't deserve the fans that turn out for them, you can take a loss if the team shows some heart but supporting a team playing with no heart, no desire and no effort that's the ultimate spit in the face. Webster needs to get ruthless, stop making fake statements that everything's ok and drop those old heads. They dropped all those young guns like Tuaupiki, Ali Leiataua, Moala Graham-Taufa, Zyon Maiu for over paid under performing slugs.

Sj said he would never leave NZ again. Rooster had no chance and you can't judge him off of that game as the forwards were awful. I thought he did great to hold Fifita as much as he did by himself.

SJ was playing very well early in the season but has been playing with an injured achilles since then.Hell he couldn't even train with the side.With hindsight he should have rested immediately when his achilles went - a lesson there for young coach Webster who has some hard decisions to make after this season. History is littered with teams bouncing back after horrendous loses so Webster must give the side a game for redemption but unless there is a massive turnaround the slow rebuild mostly from within towards a top side in a few years must begin immediately.The longer it is put off the longer it will take. I do agree some recruiting is very questionable.I think the club looked to be a premiership contender this year and next recruiting older players like RTS and Capewell then resigning Tohu for next year etc but it hasn't worked so 2025/26 must be rebuild seasons. Some older players must be bought out of contracts and encouraged to look elsewhere etc. Warriors have plenty of talent in the pathways now but they young and raw so it will take time to build a top side however it can be done just look at Panthers a decade ago to where they are now.

@@johnnycoolness SJ always gets the blame from the shortsighted haters when Warriors lose.This stupidity has been going on for years-maybe it is the tall poppy syndrome thing. Webster;s decision to play two halfbacks neither of whom are good five eights was always fraught with danger but to be fair almost all fans agreed with the move. Geez what will the haters do when SJ retires and isn't the scapegoat for them.

Biggest loss on record (66 to 6) the previous worst was 2013 to Panthers (62, 6), also this loss was to a team that was/is equal last on the ladder.... Some sober times ahead for the coaching staff to right this ship.

Yea their season is done, that was the nail in the coffin over the weekend. Word out of the warriors camp here in NZ is that SJ might have played his last game and Fonua-Blake might be shown the door.

Whether you agree or not on a particular call, The NRL needs to be hard and clear on rules because inconsistencies are making a joke out of the game. Get the foundations set then bring in new teams because otherwise we’ll just keep having new players making terrible decisions (tackling and such) based off of unclear rule sets.

The answer is that it is past time to write them off for this season. I take no joy in saying that. I have nothing against them, and in fact, as NZ’s only club, I want them to succeed. But this season, they are done.

Sj and tmm can’t play together. Simple. Sj is a confidence player and dominant 7 and struggles sharing that dominant roll. Definitely don’t see tmm and a top tier 7 who could lead them to a title and they were much better with metcalf in 6
