This was an awesome video man! My 3 year relationship ended with no animosity, but instead super emotional and crying and hugging goodbye and kissing and letting her go cause she said she needed it. Wow, weird coincidence! My 5 year relationship ended 2 weeks ago, I was going to propose, and same it was a breakup that emotional that included crying and hugging (no kissing though). All of her friends and family liked me. We'll see how things pan out. I'm currently doing no contact to work on myself and eventually reach out.

Danny, I really appreciate what you've said here. The hardest thing to realize is that I need to work on being a better version of me and that given a long enough time and hard work you have to be willing to do you can earn the trust of your ex back and start a NEW relationship with them. It isn't over forever but your previous version of your relationship is and that's important. Who doesn't want a fresh start!?

Thank you, Coach Danny, I really needed to hear this to encourage me. It's been 9 months since the love of my life left me and I am still consumed by grief every day. I guess I am not ready to contact him yet and will try to focus on myself for a while. My long distance ex and I reunited in February after he broke up with me in May of 2020 after my third try at NC. We were best friends for over 2 years before dating. Things were going great and we were talking about babies and dogs and me moving closer to him but he ended it again last Sunday. I’m confused and hurt because we were doing so well. It seems like he lost feelings in a matter of days because he said he looked at the empty seat at his family table and couldn’t see me in it. Even though we were planning all of these things. Hey Coach Danny, right now I’m in a confusing situation. So my ex and his rebound broke up 2 months ago after being together for 7 months, and I thought me and my ex were making progress into getting back together after he recently confessed to liking and missing me a lot. But just yesterday, I heard from a mutual friend that he suddenly got back with his rebound relationship. I’m not sure what to do in this situation because it happened out of nowhere. oof i hope it's not too late. what i suggest is walk away, don't talk to them at all. basically no contact. just know it's what your ex felt in the moment and probably getting back with her rebound was a spontaneous thing he did. he will notice you haven't talked to him and try talk to you again.

We were together for 1 year I cheated for 3 months. We broke up in March 22/2021 we got back 2 weeks later. Than we broke up August 13 bc she couldn’t do it anymore. She never forgive me but she also knows her value. Her therapist has told her to leave me in the past. Now she’s dating someone else. I don’t feel like I love her bc I haven’t been with her in 3 months I’m pretty sure she feels the same way. But I don’t believe she had heal all her wounds cause by the relationship. What are your thoughts on that? I know why I cheated and I’m taking the time to improve. Also her family never liked me specially now that they know everything that happened. Trust was broken, cheating, lies, plus we have to deal with one of my ex trying to come back to my life. Genuinely she’s a good person we knew each other since she was 15 turning 16 she’s now turning 18 im 20. Also her friends influence has told her if he love you he wouldn’t have never done that, don’t get back with him etc. I cried and beg yes but after sep 17 I stayed in no contact.

This no contact is horrible 😔 my ex girlfriend has a new boyfriend, she reaches out from time to time over trivial stuff though. She "accidentally" sent me a Christmas list of things she needs to do then underneath it in the same msg said sorry I didn't mean to send at. I'm doing well with sorting myself out I still love her very much, but it's way too early for me to reach out even over Christmas we were together 6 years split twice it's such a mess but I need to sort myself out before I reach out it's going to take a long time. my ex and i broke up twice, but this time we were suppose to go to couples therapy but we couldn't afford it, then eventually arguments got worse and she dumped me even though she loves me. she said she rather focus on herself and not allow me to make her feel like she wasn't enough even though she made me feel the same way and she said she's putting herself first for once and she doesn't want to be with me ever again so lol she's done. 5 years wasted it felt. i hate the way i treated her but i hate the way she would not respect any of my boundaries when id set them to avoid overly unnecessary heated argument where we say things we don't mean and we break up.

Your situation sounds very similar to mine. The timelines, the second break up, a woman walking away. Hold your head up man, been five months of no contact for me sucks horribly.
