SPR Redevelopment Plan
The Gurgaon Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) will be conducting special repair work on the 8km stretch of Southern Peripheral Road (SPR) from Ghata to Vatika Chowk at a cost of Rs 8.5 crore. This move comes after the chief minister directed officials to review the redevelopment plan. The project will include overlaying the main carriageway, repairing a junction, and desilting the drain. The GMDA is also exploring the possibility of building an elevated structure between Vatika Chowk and NH-8 for improved connectivity. Residents are unhappy with the slow progress of the redevelopment.

Mark my words, this CPR SPR Road is already very very congested and in bad condition. And if these new launches are keep happening then due to construction truck traffic is gonna increase further. And we all know how much time it's gonna take to develop elevated road in India, almost 3-4 years at least. So just imagine existing SPR road which is itself congested then: 1. increased traffic due to these new launch construction work trucks. 2. roads are getting further narrowed if by chance the elevated road work starts due to diversions. Even now I don't want to travel through this pathetic roads with so many red lights, and if both the above things aligned in the same time, It will be a road of hell.

approve toh mere bhai sab kuch ho rakha hai, metro bhi hogyi, spr elevated bhi hogya, golf course ext elevated bhi hogya but hai toh sab on paper. faaltu property prices badhe jaare hai development on paper hi rehta hai. ye kaam jameen pe kab start hoga?

@@adityapratapsingh7649 bhai agar 2006 ka proposed expressway 2024 mei khatam hota hai, toh ye 20 saal pehle news mat nikaala karo. Golf course extension road + spr red light free karne ki baat 7 8 saal puraani hai. Faridabad se vatika chowk tak metro 7-8 saal puraani hai. Agar 20 saal lagte hai planning aur execution ke beech, toh ye news nikaal ke faaltu property ke rates mat badhaya karo. Mai abhi college se nikla hu, iss raftaar se jab meri shaadi hogi aur mere bache school 4th 5th mei padh rhe honge tab shayad project banne. Iss beech mere liye ghar khareedna mushqil mat karo
