misfiring is caused by the sparkplugs cable getting carbon, had this issue in my gt for a long long time, carbon is caused by water getting into the cables because of minor gaps between the two connecting cable, i had my spark plug cable's resistance tested in the service centre, i recommend you do the same even if your problem is solved. The stock cables are a bit problem espacially the Left Sided sparkplug cap which was very tight and was not fitted properly from the factory and had a gap so the spark plug was also getting rusted

Don't change full system exhaust on bs6 models... because there's catalytic converter..and there's some sensor as well...so slip on exhaust will be fine..i guess... Or else you should tune your bike after installing full system exhaust...

Bro i was just looking at this video randomly just to gain some knowledge, and the problems you were facing are the same as mine and I’m still facing them. Exactly same, the misfiring and all. I’ve a interceptor 650 bs6(2022 October) got RRPs on it and as soon as i got them I’ve been facing this issue. Do you think I should get a powertronic Or as other videos are claiming that these problems are related to the FI system in the bike or faulty spark plugs?

FI true coz our Ecu is equipped with a particular map for the stock setting but once we go aftermarket the air fuel ratio changes. Powertronic helps quite a lot in overcoming them but still few issues still remain as the map the have is a universal map for all gt’s. Recently I have come across code6. A lot of people claim that it’s better than powertronic also if I am not wrong they map you a custom map for your motorcycle. If that’s true then I think you should go with code 6. But still before going for code 6 kindly have a word with the concerned people

No bro over heating didn’t make out as the engine heats up quite hot usually too..but the smell that hasn’t happened with me

Maine code 6 use nahi kiya hai so keh nahi paunga but jitna mujhe pata hai code 6 customise map dete hain har alag alag bike ke liye. Agar yeh sach hai toh code6 ke saath jana chaiye

Can this engine misfiring at idle be handled by fuelx lite ? I have installed the Aew 101 exhaust and have a similar misfiring issue... Theres no problem with performance though. My mechanic auggested the fuelx lite to manage this issue

I personally felt that the mapping could have been more precise..acceleration is good mid range too but at top end it’s starts missing if you hold the throttle for long at a particular rpm

Yes it’s normal happens with my Himalayan too it’s when you rev and release the throttle you hear such pops comings next time when you release the throttle release it while pressing the clutch. It won’t happen

Maine red rooster isliye lagaya hai kyunki yeh mujhe jyada better laga look wise. Mere dost ke paas power rage hai aur sahi kaam ke raha hai faida yeh hai ki stock muffler ka cover uspe Chad jata hai. Nahi toh dono mein koi jyada fark nahi hai. Isliye joh tumhe acha lagey woh laga sakte ho.

This video is not fair, it is not okay to say that the problems you faced solved because of Powertronic. Powertronic is slow poison and you might have understood by now since it is 2 years, You just had to revisit spark plug, o2 sensor and cable management to correct the issue and may be you did not leave engine running for 5-7 min without accelarating right after installing exhaust.Anyways good luck

I did all those measures after installing but still the issue was there. Also after using powertronic for two years I would suggest everyone to go for remapping if they have this facility available in their city coz powertronic is not the ultimate solution

As far as my knowledge goes Powertronic is a play and plug unit with a universal map for a particular bike model however code 6 maps your stock ecu with a map as your requirements. However both does the same thing
