Is It Worth Cracking Pokemon Slabs??

I bought an Umbreon from Celebrations graded because it was cheaper - undesirable grading company and got an 8. I just wanted it for my binder so worked for me!

those are cutting pliers, not needlenose..also never cleaned a card in my life and get more 10s than anything..

I have a roaring moon that looks immaculate but I noticed the back is not centered. It’s bottom and left heavy. I want to grade it but I feel it won’t get a 10 because it’s 2 sides that are not centered.

just paused the video at 4:53. So why people would sell you a PSA 8 then? if you're making money just cracking the slab... i don't think there is money to be made there, even if Price Charting say so, it is not that easy, margins are going to be smaller for sure

If you get a PSA 7-9 then you might have well crack it open and regrade it. Even if you stick to PSA you will be surprised how the grade will change. Number of PSA 8 cards that have been regraded to a PSA 10 is unbelievable. There seems to be no pattern with the grading with PSA. Other grading companies tend to have continuity with the grades.
