I have the equivalent of this on the wrangler. Rockkrawler is the absolute best in the suspension game and I strongly recommend their coilovers. Destroy king and fox stuff

Hey, loved your video! You inspired me to get the RK brace. What shocks do you suggest?
@AdventuresOfRogersAndHenderson6 ай бұрын
Thanks man! I think you’ll love the RK truss and links! As far as shocks, I currently have Icon and they’ve been great so far… but I’m probably going to switch to the RK coilovers because I know they have a rock crawling setting for more travel and less emphasis on rebound (like for higher speed off roading) but also because they have an uptravel limiter that can be adjusted for your tire

That is awesome. I would just keep the icon and make bump stops. What are you doing about front end articulation? I have a Badlands and sway bar disconnect really helps.
@AdventuresOfRogersAndHenderson9 ай бұрын
I’m leaning towards bump-stops as well. I have the front-sway permanently disconnected, so we get a ton of articulation out of front, as much as I feel comfortable with, on stock CVs
@applebitefool9 ай бұрын
@@AdventuresOfRogersAndHenderson That is exactly what I would do otherwise, makes such a big difference offroad. Doesnt feel too lose on the road?
@AdventuresOfRogersAndHenderson9 ай бұрын
@@applebitefool it was such a SLIGHT difference between the sway bar connected, and disconnected… that we (the Mrs and myself) said it wasn’t worth the effort to connect/disconnect it, and just leave it disconnected.

@@AdventuresOfRogersAndHenderson That's what I thought, might get a Wildtrack as my next truck then and remove it, it was the only thing that nudged me towards the Badlands.
@AdventuresOfRogersAndHenderson9 ай бұрын
@@applebitefool with what I know about the sway bars now, my determining factor would be the H.O.S.S. 3.0 steering… and now both Badlands and Wildtrak come with that for 2024+. I still need to swap out my rack from the 2.0
@JeepTrailsandBarbells9 ай бұрын
I say trim and cut to stuff and tuck lol. I always go for the option that gives me the most travel. But that upgrade is well worth the money for what you get out of it. To bad you don't live close to me, that would have been a fun project to have done with you. Would have saved you a ton on labor as well.
@AdventuresOfRogersAndHenderson9 ай бұрын
It’s made a HUGE difference. I found a set of limit rings that work with my coilovers… see if I can dead stop it right at the fender… if that doesn’t work, it’ll be high clearance fenders. I appreciate that bro!!

Now the question is, "How can you get 16 to 18 inches of travel out of the front?"
@AdventuresOfRogersAndHenderson5 ай бұрын
@@Reecesavage-Alwayswin now THAT… is a fantastic question! Long Travel seems to be the closest option… To be completely honest, if there’s any sort of catastrophic failure with this 2-Door, some kind of massive electronic issue, or whatever… we’ll be switching the front into a Solid Axle and running ORIs on all 4 corners… until then, zero sway bars is my only option 😂

@@martindavis8487 of course! and will do! I’m about to re-test the rear with a forklift, I’m hoping my “bump stop” setup solves the flex into the body and rear bumper… and can get a better read of how much more flex I can get out of this setup!

Does it work with stock suspension for the rest? Outside of what was modified for the upper links, are lower arms needing to change out? Assume track bar is deleted.
@AdventuresOfRogersAndHenderson8 ай бұрын
Yes, it does work with the factory suspension… our friends at Exodus4x4 ran this with factory Bilsteins (albeit with 74Weld portals). You will see more articulation out of the rear axle, but you’ll run out of down travel before you maximize the articulation you can get out of the system. We are running Rock Krawler lower links too… but you don’t HAVE to. Any aftermarket lowers will help (the factory ones are REALLY stiff). We did eliminate the track bar and brackets.
