Is It Worth It? Rollz Motion 2-In-1 Review

When you're considering buying a mobility aid it can be a little overwhelming. Should you spring for the fancy one you saw on Instagram? Here's my opinion on the Rollz Motion 2-In-1 rollator and wheelchair version 1.

ive been eyeballing the rollz motion for my POTS so i can live more independently and be more active. this is totally convincing me. i was initially talking myself out of it by thinking im not "sick enough" but if i were to get the rollz i would likely not need any other aid which is nice.

One of the reasons I wanted a Rollz was because I wanted more options without having to store multiple aids in our small space. I use it as a kitchen stool too now I'm a little more mobile so it's definitely pulling its weight!

I discovered this hybrid solution 2 days ago and was very hyped but in the same time didn’t want to buy it and make a mistake doing so because of the price. I went to a local store today where I got to try this one out. I think it is going to be the perfect aid for me until I can get a proper self-propelled wheelchair that requires some years of saving. I will probably get the all-terrain version because I love hiking in the woods. It's a lot of money, but you've convinced me.

@@moonlilly467 i've had it for a few weeks now and I really love it! It's been to the beach, the forest and the mountains and several medieval towns during my holiday. Rollz is working on an electric version, possibly as an add-on, that would be a dream come true!

Thanks:) Great review! I didnt know such hybrid roller existed, came 'accidentally' over it online. I am blessed with the norwegian welfare system, so I will get it for free (we do pay taxes though !) in the lovely blue colour. Couple of points. They do sell paints that match. I don't think it takes two mins. It probably takes about half a minute to convert for an able person (you would have to have an able person with you anyway to push you). I got it a few days ago and love it. Great review thanks.

Georgia Brown maybe it takes longer if the height of the handles needs to be adjusted too - for me and my mum we can keep it at the same height so don't need to adjust it after converting

@@karma_kush I was using a price from a UK dealer but pricing can vary by stockist. If you add your country of residence to your Google search, it should offer you a few to choose from 🙂

Thank you, I'm looking into this for my mum when we go out together and in the home. Do you think it's okay to carry a cup of tea and plate over carpet?

I wasn't sure so I did a quick test. For the most part it works perfectly well over carpet though short pile is much smoother. I would be careful with how full both cup and plate were. Wide base mugs work best, smaller bases are more susceptible to falling over on the cushioned seat. I hope this helped!

There should be a small latch somewhere. It's under the seat on the Rollz. That's my best guess

This rollator would he perfect if I can use it on my own. So my major problem is going off wandering and then going too far from home that I can't walk back however I don't have a partner to push me back home. So I get stuck.

The rollator portion is designed to be used solo. It would need another person to push in wheelchair form as the wheels are too small for self-propulsion. It could be useful if you need a more safe place to rest while making your way back

Great review, thanks! I was wondering, if the handles locks in all angles or only aligned forward og backwards? I'm considering getting a rollator, but I'd prefer the handles to be angled slightly inwards 🤔
