Accenture is client satisfaction company, employee satisfaction is zero percent, management level is too poor, reconigation is depend on your contact with management level. It's just like a government company, no one is responsible for anything. You can join Accenture because every MNC is same, but some of the MNC are employee friendly.

I'm not complaining. I'd still be working in retails if not for Accenture, so as far as I'm concerned, the cons aren't really a big deal, not that I really have to face them, I will however move on as soon as possible, as it appears that everyone else, (who didn't find employ via a government backed scheme), is inevitably worked to death. I'm here so long as I'm important enough to pay, and unimportant enough not to miss. Do what I've done, and use it as a stepping stone. A first step. It's great to have on your resume, but if you don't actually 'need' it, to get you out of the 'gutter' so to speak. (menial low paying wage jobs or even unemployment benefits/wellfare/JSA). For me it was a no-brainer, but I can see the writing on the wall. I'm not going to run the rat race here. Just the bare minimum till I'm 'upskilled' and qualified enough to go.

I mention my recent experience with Accenture. I am an experienced Java developer but unfortunately got locked in a pure support project (L2 support) under a very incompetent TL in June and when i asked for roll off to my manager they denied and by the end of my probation i was on PIP by same TL and PIPs are given just to throw the person out of Accenture so finally by the end of december i was out.

if you are experienced don't join accenture. They have an unofficial rule of putting atleast one person from each project on PIP. So cheap they are. They do not consider employees as human.

You will not be able to control which project you would land up in any of the company though your training performance can influence the decisions. Infosys has an awesome training and is preferable for fresher's.
