hi guys, thanks for posting this, it looks amazing. I have few questions as I am planning a trip to Maldives from 26th Nov 2020 to 2nd December 2020. Are the tourist places open or is it that only resorts,hotels and guesthouses are open and you can't go anywhere else. Are the water sports open right now. Also are the ferries and speed boats open so that we can go from one island to another? Thanks in advance 🙂

Thank you for watching! Right now 120 resorts, 65 guesthouses and 121 safaris are in operation as probably until your travel dates more local islands and guest houses will open. As you can split your stay between them. You can also travel between local islands which are open for tourists. There are transport options for the local islands, but you have to verify the schedules of the speed boat with the guest house you are staying. For the ferries from Male will be difficult, because the capital is still not open for tourists - only if they need to stay for a transit is a hotel. Water sports are open in all the islands which are open for tourists. For 6 nights it is better to choose local island which suggest also resorts day visits. And in this way you can do different daily activities, water sports, you can visit resort/s and you can go to the neighbour local island with a ferry. Such local islands which are open now and you can combine are Maafushi, Guraidhoo & Gulhi (South Male atol), Himmafushi, Huraa and Thulusdhoo (North Male atol). Ukulhas, Mathiveri, Thoddoo and Rasdhoo (Alif Alif Atol). So if you come at spring, you can see pink tree, when summer, green tree, when fall, red-yellow tree. And december~february, you can see white tree due to the snow☃️ Also here are many kinds of food!
