A beautiful Cornish garden and I don't think we managed to get to this one. You have shown us some lovely plants and flowers and this is obviously the best time of the year to see the Rhododendrons. We always went in mid to late June so now I know what we have missed! Thank you for taking us with you Sarah and Andrew. Enjoy the holiday weekend. Greetings, Julie.

Color is awesome Sarah and Andy imbuing us with the healing vibrations we need. Of course gardens were meant to heal the soul and leave us feeling improved. I think this garden does just that. Some good fun also. A great sticky bench there. Thanks for sharing. Mark

What a beautiful garden, and this is one of the best times of the year to view an English garden.. I am currently in the Philippines and the types of plants you see here growing along the roads are what people have as pot plants back in the UK.. The foliage here is so much different from what we have in England.. Very much enjoyed your video, thanks for this share... Carl

One of the joys of travelling is to see the frost tender plants in their native environment! I guess the plant collectors struck lucky with the Rhododendren! Sarah :)

Been there a couple of times, absolutely stunning place and you showed it off to a tee. Those Anderson shelters reminded me of a few years back talking to an old Penzance man who was reminiscing about the wartime. He said that when Plymouth was being bombed he could see the glow from his home in Penzance,so ferocious were the flames. You both looked very chilled walking around there and the peace of the walk and place came through a lot.Have a good weekend.Andy.

Poor Plymouth - I often wonder what it looked like before the bombing. It was mercilessly hit, night after night, just can't imagine what it must have really been like. When the info said six people in that tiny structure, I kept thinking 'How?' Sarah :)

The azaleas are stunning! Wow! All of the colors! Those gardens are amazing! Wonderful view from the Silent Space. Flowers everywhere! A sticky bench! Ha! Very funny! The walled garden is very nice. Vegetables for the restaurant. Love bees!!!! Tadpoles were cute to see. That is a HUGE tea urn. HAHAHA! Thanks for bringing us along! Great post!

Hi Kay, glad you watched! Andrew says he is glad you got the tea urn joke! A tribute to Morcambe and Wise from our childhood in the UK. They had a popular, Saturday evening, family show with lots of puns and slap stick! Sarah :)

Cornish Walking Trails The floral smells this time of year are lovely... Sara, you know a lot about flowers/plants. My grandmother knew a lot about them also (Steve & I purchased her home from my mother when we married & have been remodeling it, but to honour her memory I have been planting loads of trees & florals (I could sure use your help 😂) I just go by colours & smells & that does not always work well 😅 take care 😚

My Grandad grew Chrysanthemum and dahlias and used to win cups at local shows. He kindled my love of the garden. British gardens tend to be a lot smaller than your in the US; ours is a medium size with plenty of space to experiment! Right plant in the right place! as my Grandad always used to say! Sarah :)

Cornish Walking Trails Hi Sarah (sorry I keep putting Sara (I have a cousin named “Sara”) forgive me!!!) I have several gardens at my home (trying to replicate my grams) I have lilac bushes but we have problems with bamboo & they grow like wild fire & the bamboo is choking out the lilac. We do not know how to kill off the bamboo with out totally killing off the lilac. My gram grew dahlias, they were the dinner plate type, beautiful... I love roses but I Kill them 😞 my gram had (I say had because I killed them😞) wild roses, they were so beautiful & smelled lovely, but no more... it is planting season here & I do beautiful flower pots (I can do them well with any death to them 😉) but am trying to figure out what perennials to add to my gardens... so nice talking with you. Have a great day 😚
