This brand look great. I recently saw a tik tok about checking your hair porosity. GIRL. That was my issue. I have the type of hair everyone is jealous of, but because of the low porosity I could never make it look/feel goodie grow. When you mentioned your hair was low porosity I instantly subscribed. Please do a video on how you take care of it and get moisture to absorb. Tonight was wash day for me and I steamed my hair and that made a WORLD of difference. What other tips do you have?
@CurlsofaCPA2 жыл бұрын
So glad you figured it out!! So in each video I show my technique on the many ways I absorb moisture and over the past couple of months I’ve noticed my porosity leaning towards medium/normal but my routine is still catered to my low porosity strands cuz it works best for me. As for tips I say try all the things. Some peoples low porosity hair absorbs moisture better when they apply product to damp/dry hair and others need their hair to be soaking wet. Its all about experimenting to see what your hair likes. So take the tips I give and the other low porosity focused girls on the KZbins do and tailor it to you

I just want to say I don't specifically use products for afro or ethnic hair and the products are just fine. I have products from Garnier, Herbal essences and L'oreal as well as ethnic hair brands from motions, ors. I found out that the ones designed for afro hair sometimes give more breakage. I just cut my hair to shoulder length. And colored it darker and even the hair color I used from my local store was strengthening. I think many of the products designed for afro hair contains too much protein and thus breaks the hair.
@CurlsofaCPA3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for sharing 🤗 That hasn’t been my experience but I am team “know your hair”and do what’s best for you. There are brands that don’t use a lot of protein (like TGIN) but if those other products are working for you and your hair is flourishing keep doing what you’re doing. (Sidebar: I like ORS too lol)

That Algae Deep Conditioner looks amazing. I may have to give it a try. When you sampled the product on your hand, it looked like it had a medium consistency. Am I right or would you say it was more thicker?

The cleansing rinse formulation has completely changed. Initially, the top five ingredients were Moroccan pear oil, cherry kernel oil, Coconut oil, Aloe juice, and Jojoba seed oil. The product was full of healthy ingredients, and it did not suds up like that. Camille Rose changed the cap to the applicator tip and added noting but a bunch of soap, including sodium C14-16, olefin sulfonate, disodium cocoamphotdipopionate. Probably the same ingredients as a dollar store shampoo. You will need all of those conditioners to bring your hair back to life. Read the ingredients before purchasing. The shampoo used to be one of the best on the market, now it's probably one of the worst.

@@marciej504 I have some portions of my hair that is low porosity and I have to drench drench my hair with water to get a good lather. It’s hard to show how long it takes me but I make sure my hair is saturated before shampooing. That’s also why I like to prepoo when my hair is dry because it starts the moisturizing process and it doesn’t take as long for my hair to get wet. I wouldn’t suggest you prepoo with oil but maybe a clay mask (ORS and creme of natural have affordable ones so you don’t have to DIY), a cowash, conditioner, or a multi-use product like the bags choice 3 in 1 or the melanin hair care leave in. If you have other shampoos that lather fine then just switch to those but you can try these things if you are concerned. You could also need a good detox or to clarify. Are you a good person? Well God gave us the ten commandments as the standard of righteousness. How many lies have you told in your life? Have you ever stolen anything even if the value was small? Have you ever looked at a woman (or man) with lust (God considers that to be adultery in the heart). If you’ve done these things God sees you as a liar, a thief, and an adulterer at heart. God is perfectly Just, Good, and Holy. His justice means hell for those who are guilty. A lot of people think they are “good people” but good deeds can never make you right with God. Would a good judge let a murderer go because they did good things? Of course not, that judge would be corrupt. And since God is good, He must punish all evil. But God made a way for us terrible sinners to be reconciled to Him and save us from His wrath. He became human in the person of Jesus Christ. He died on the cross taking our punishment on Himself, dying, and rising from the dead. He paid the debt we owed because of our sin! God commands everyone to repent and trust in Jesus alone for salvation. Have a wonderful day!
