There is nothing wrong with recieving monthly allowances from a man who can afford it and offers to do it. The problem is being entittled and shaming a man for not doing things you cannot even do for yourself.

Even the Bible says one (which implies man and woman) shall chase One thousand and two shall put ten thousand to flight. Which means as a partner you should have something before getting to a relationship. Honestly, I’m always looking forward to listening from you both. Thank you❤️

This is a very nice topic brought up to educate us. As a woman you should be able to take care of your basic needs and not depend on anyone but still either boyfriend or husband, there should be a support financially from both the man and the woman. Don't make it look like giving money to your woman is a sin, you spend on what you love. whatever treatment you get from a man/woman in a relationship, is the same treatment you will get in your marriage stop giving room for men who can't give to their women all in the name of he isn't your father. And to our dear lady, please if you want to talk, please process your words and talk for us to understand you well. The like, like like and the, the, the, and, and, but, but, but is making it too boring for me as a person. Thank you NB: Don't be dependent on your man, get a life for yourself to maintain respect. We have kind and generous men and stingy men as well let's know the difference.

Money is essential in a relationship that doesn’t mean we should go into a romantic relationship just cuz a guy has money there are other things needed to help a relationship grow. If as a human being you can’t take care of yourself, as a grown woman that has a job if you can’t take care of yourself then how do you expect a man or people to even see your worth. Normally if you’re in a relationship with a man and your man offers to take care of you it means he like you. Like Arike said, most women feel entitled to a man’s money. If he truly loves you won’t even have to ask him to help.

Perhaps someone will strike the right chord another day, but for now, let's discuss this topic in more detail. In this particular region of the world, Nigeria, the issue is mainly a mindset, and the solution lies in addressing the fundamentals. This poverty mindset can be addressed by promoting a culture where men and women split the costs of dates and movies, without feeling entitled. This approach could lay the foundation for change, so that women no longer view it as a man's responsibility to provide for their basic needs. The question is, why do women feel the need for a man to take care of them once they start dating? This is where fundamental issues need to be addressed.

Actually a lot of people have that mindset.... Most of them don't want to become like their mothers, most of them come from a poor home they all want to have a better life than the one they grew up with.... Knowing a guy is capable of your bills before any future relationship is actually a way of self examining a guy some guys are liability on their own

So jobless pipo should not be in a relationship abi? 😂 it sounded a little biased to me. The problem is with feeling entitled + there are some men that will not help their women even when they can. I have dated that kinda guy. I wasn’t entitled but he was a stingy guy. Periodt! I was a student and struggling, that guy will come and join me to drink garri 🙄 then buy himself roasted fish on his way home.

What about the men who are goal diggers?...it would have been more interesting if this conversation touched both ends....well Its true some women do exaggerate but I feel some strange bias in the house... Well maybe it's just me but I think we all should understand that backgrounds do play a huge role to building character...some might not have had that kinda grooming or thinking but if your approach towards it is through alot of sarcasm carrying "Love" as title...then maybe the information/correction or rebuke might not even reach your target and fulfil purpose. You are contradicting your selves. In your previous video, you expressed support for women having the freedom to choose to be full-time housewives, but today you appear to be condemning those who have made that choice. It would be helpful if you clarify your position on this matter. How is it possible for a woman to support herself while being a full-time housewife?

I think you guys need to reevaluate the purpose of this podcast cause the approach and choice of words are not such that those affected can connect with them. And I agree with Arike on the trauma ish, some also have that mentality cause of poor parenting, we have parents who have instilled such values into their children, not to excuse selfishness but there are other root causes as well

In my opinion Solomon, there are some topics you've addressed and it seemed right at that time but the fact that, 1. You are a Christian (As you've boldly claimed and mentioned) 2. A newly wedded head of your own family unit 3. Above all, the fact that you are graced with the goodness of God to have a KZbin channel and actually have an audience, all not by your power neither by your might but BY GOD'S GOODNESS AND KIND THOUGHTS towards you, YOU SHOULD NOT BE SO RUDE AND PRIDEFUL IN YOUR WORDS WHEN SPEAKING. People are able to also spot the self absorbed nature in you and remember you are being watched to be measured by your actions in the past too. Please do better and let GOD and His kindness through grace be the center of your intentions towards men. One can tell by how your wife Arike (Helpmate) tries to get you to be thoughtful and considerate with your words and understanding but you seem to lean more to your own self driven understanding. Please BE BETTER PS I'm still subscribed to this channel and wishing you both the blessings of a Godly Union.
