A snarky comment on one of my other videos got my hackles up & I felt the need to stand up for Jim Lill. We don't know each other, we've never met, but I get tired of people criticizing those of us who are on KZbin trying to give other guitarists some help by sharing our experiences. Whether it's life experience (like me) or by doing experiments (like Jim & a host of others), we're simply trying to give our fellow guitarists a better starting point on their gear purchases. Guys like Glenn Fricker, Jim Lill, myself, and many others have spent (and often wasted) enormous amounts of time &/or money in the pursuit of tonal excellence and are offering our thoughts. But the internet being what it is, there are always who feel the need to criticize and yet have nothing constructive to offer. This is my metaphorical digitus medius, or as the Romans called it, digitus impudicus to those who complain and do not offer alternatives.
