I think their thinking about it way too hard. You have to look at this as improv acting. you create a character in the world and see how they would react based on the characteristics you gave them. Tommy T and Ray Mond are just characters created by Zerkaa and Valkyrae respectively and their relationship should not extend to their IRL selves.

Things will constantly change and evolve and you’re not always guaranteed to hang out with the same people that you normally would hang out with. Also another Way to look at it is actors on the movie set. Actors spend months and months together and in most cases they do not let it affect their real life relationships. Yes some people have actually become couples but, it’s not the norm.
