Is JT Miller a better trade idea for the Sabres than Elias Pettersson is?

The only kind of players I want to see come to the Sabres are guys that hit, fight, work hard, stir things up, and don't take any crap from the opposing team. Ever. Take some penalties to send a message long overdue. This softness must end. That's the only fix in my opinion.

If Adams does ONLY one more thing before being FIRED at seasons end he needs to give Jason Zucker at least a two year extension and hopefully trade Henri the Finnish Pylon Jokiharju. Love the Miller trade idea but I cant see him agreeing to a trade to Buffalo, although he is exactly what this dressing room needs, a veteran leader who will kick his teammates ass if they are slacking.

If those stars were Sabres, he could trade them out of here in a heart beat for more 1st or 2nd rounders. No problems there what so ever. I’m also counting the days Terry stays out of hockey ops stops being cheap and hires a President of Hockey Ops again! Also fire those god awful assistant coaches and some how get some good vets for the young guns and maybe we will start thriving, Jason Zucker is a great add but not enough, Power needs a veteran right handed D-man so badly

@ I’d wait a couple years he is still young lol, Hedman didn’t take off till he was like 24ish some guys just take time, even look at Dahlin he came into the league with all that pressure didn’t excel right away… trust me I have not liked his play but watch every time we let these guys go they go off somewhere else just need a better system and a new defensive coach (Luke Richardson) or somebody to get that out of him!

I’d love to see them bring in a guy like this, but you’re gonna have to bring in two or three other guys with him who can back the message because this team will shun someone like this. So if you don’t wanna play hard like tkachuk - do you think you’re taking the night off? No, you’re not. I’ll beat your ass backed by Bennet, Barkov, verhaege. Do something like that you’re gonna have to change out 20 guys or be the worst team in the league your choice.
