@@matthewjoseph9897 simple question, bible is called in english, was bible originally written in english, or quran was written in english? have you never read the term "lost in translation"?... if you read my message carefully, the answer lies in it... now if you read the authentic translation of quran in english, the word bible is not used, instead it says gospel(as in gospel of jesus)... it is not talking about modern day bible written by disciples or versions of bible like king james version... this is why you should consult a scholar... there is a reason why the books on tafseer(explanation) are much bigger than quran itself... now, i am not trying to put down christians or christianity, simply trying to say that half knowledge is more dangerous than no knowledge... again, quran uses the word injeel, which refers to gospel of jesus, not bible, which(correct me if im wrong) is a compilation of books written by disciples. you say quran misrepresents christianity... now, how do you know christianity you follow today is same as what jesus preached? i mean if you read history, it will tell you that things like trinity and xmas were added centuries after jesus... so who is to say what you are following is correct? so before you point fingers at others, take a hard look in mirror... no offense, but christians do not even understand their own faith and cannot answer questions about their beliefs, what makes you think they understand other faiths like islam and its teachings? may the almighty guide you...

@@Zvaigzdute14 in Religion, a prophet or prophetess (Women’s month) is an individual who is regarded as being in contact with a divine being. Usually delivering a message, and being an intermediary with humanity, like Moses did. So, although technically, you could be correct, there were others, such as Cain, their son. God talked directly with Cain, where is your brother? … But to be more precise, as you infer, Noah was one of the first prophets, as was Abraham. All accepted in Islam. Abraham is regarded, in Judaism, as the first Jew. Hebrew, at that time, as the word Jew comes from Judah, whom wasn’t yet born in the time of Abraham.

Also, there is a huge misconception that Judaism was the very first monotheistic religion when in actuality Zoroastrianism was the first monotheistic religion. The specific timeline and interactions between these religious traditions remain subjects of scholarly inquiry and interpretation. However, most scholars generally agree that Zoroastrianism played a role in shaping religious thought and concepts in the ancient world, particularly in the regions where these religions emerged and developed. Some of the ways Zoroastrianism influenced later Abramic faiths like Judaism, Christianity, and Islam: 1.) Dualism: Zoroastrianism introduced the concept of dualism, emphasizing the cosmic struggle between good (represented by Ahura Mazda) and evil (represented by Angra Mainyu or Ahriman). This dualistic worldview, with its moral framework and eschatological beliefs, may have influenced similar concepts in later religions, such as the Christian idea of the struggle between God and Satan. Good vs Bad, Heaven vs Hell, Light vs Darkness, etc. 2.) Heaven, Hell, and Judgment: Zoroastrianism introduced the notion of a final judgment where individuals are held accountable for their deeds in life and are rewarded or punished accordingly in the afterlife. This concept of judgment, along with the ideas of heaven and hell, likely influenced similar beliefs in Christianity and Islam. 3.) Ethical Code: Zoroastrianism emphasized ethical behavior and the importance of leading a righteous life. This emphasis on moral conduct and the distinction between good and evil likely contributed to the ethical teachings found in later religions

Correct, Abraham was not a Jew. He wasn't a Monotheist either. Neither was Adam or any subsequent ordained prophet. I wish people where open minded enough to ask the right questions with a sincere desire to know truth. Even if the only question you asked was, logically, does this make sense. There is a religion out there that answers so many of these questions just from a logical perspective, let alone the faith based questions. Unfortunately, people "are kept from the truth because they know not where to find it."

also he said that Islam is harsher than judaism- actually if we're going by old testament laws as a basis (they're not today- most contemporary jews follow talmud more than tanakh) some of the things are way more strict- like the punishment for breaking sabbath is death- can you imagine if the punishment for missing jumah was execution? Also disobeying parents is a death sentence in judaism...muslims are told to respect parents but there is no state punishment for it. Also zakaat/tithe is a lot more harsh in judaism- every fallen fruit or crop on the ground goes to tithe, every 7 years the land is fallowed meaning no crops are allowed to be sown, A tithe, or 10% of one's produce or earnings (not just 2.5 percent on wealth like muslims) specifically for the levitical cohens (basically brahmins of judaism), also the punishment for cutting hands doesn't apply in famine or when it is under a certain amount. Every fiftieth year accoring to the ot allowing seven cycles of sabbatical years, slaves and prisoners were to be freed, debts forgiven, and ancestral lands returned to the original families. Whereas in islam paying debts is seen as something which may have implications for the afterlife unless it is forgiven by that person. According to the OT people from certain nations are not even allowed into the jammat!!! and other nations that are disliked are only allowed in after a few generations- imagine a sign on a masjib saying 'no chinese or illegitimate offspring' allowed...

@matthewjoseph9897, it is evident that throughout history, there have been instances where individuals have tampered with the original teachings of the gospel and the Torah. These sacred texts were entrusted to messengers who were chosen to relay the divine message to humanity. However, over time, various factors such as personal interpretations, cultural influences, and even political agendas have led to alterations in these holy books. The gospel, which encompasses the teachings of Jesus Christ, has undergone modifications as it spread across different regions and was translated into various languages. As it reached different communities, people inevitably added their own perspectives and beliefs, sometimes deviating from the original message. Additionally, external forces such as political powers and religious institutions have exerted influence, shaping the gospel to align with their own agendas. Similarly, the Torah, the sacred scripture of Judaism, has also experienced alterations throughout its long history. The Torah, believed to have been given by God to Moses, contains the laws, commandments, and stories that form the foundation of Jewish faith. However, as the Jewish people faced numerous challenges and interacted with different cultures, the Torah was subject to reinterpretation and reinterpretation. This has led to variations in understanding and application of its teachings. It is important to acknowledge that these changes were not necessarily malicious in nature. Rather, they often arose from a genuine desire to make the scriptures more relevant, understandable, or applicable to the changing times. However, it is crucial to approach these altered versions with caution and strive to discern the original teachings from the subsequent modifications. In conclusion, it is evident that people have indeed changed the gospel and the Torah throughout history. While some alterations may have been unintentional or driven by genuine intentions, it is essential to engage in careful study and research to distinguish the original teachings from the modified versions. By doing so, we can strive to understand the true essence of these sacred texts and the messages they were intended to convey.

The covenant is entirely broken (by their own behaviour), they follow the serpent, so they are now entirely open to the unrightousness. They can not accept this fact tho, they take too much pride feeling above gentiles, this is why they have a hard time that YHWH loves all of his creation equally. This is why the new testament clearly says, that the seed of Abraham are only those, who are in Christ by faith and not the seed by the flesh.

This is very true in my experience. Having been raised in frum Judaism and leaving and being amongst Christians for yeas I am realizing many things. The religion is fragmented into a million sects and each sect is essentially like its own neighborhood having its own religion all together which is very confusing. Then the ironic thing is despite all these differences you get a sense of "do what you want". I used to look at the commandments as a punishment but as I get old realizing that it's God's way of keeping us close and intimate with him. One thing I really respect about Islam.

When a person is born into a faith and becomes a spiritual teacher of that faith, it is impossible for them not to state that their faith is the perfect faith. This is the problem with strict adherence to a faith, the truth of God is bound by that faith by definition of that faith. However, if a particular religion is looked at as one of many means to get closer to God then the options of becoming closer to God opens. I've found that unconditional love towards ones self and others is a key component to becoming closer to God.

I don't think he actually answered the question directly, which may be understood differently. Christianity is closer to Judaism because it is placed, or forms, atop it. Islam then tries to bundle it up, thus coming last. This is why the quran declares Christians and Jews the authority of proper scripture. What is odd is that these two groups are then disowned towards the end of the quran (stuff like "jizyha"). Islam could be closer by performing more religious duties as piety, and Christianity closer by the display of grace that God has shown His people in the Old Testament.

Christianity is closer to Roman and Greek paganism. No where does it state in the Quran that Christian’s and Jews have “proper scripture”. Like the previous poster mentioned, there’s a reason Jews can pray in a mosque yet can’t in a church.
@Rickta90
@Rickta90 10 ай бұрын
@@Saimzz Christianity literally comes from Judaism especially noting that Jesus was a Jew. Muhammed said that if you are in doubt to ask the Jews or the Christians(Surah 94). I don't think you've done enough research nor have you really analyzed the historical events in the scriptures. It wouldn't make sense to say Christianity comes from Roman and Greek paganism because once Christianity became popular there, the roman and greek gods fell away and were dubbed as myth. Western democracy has the philosophical influences of the Romans and Greeks along with Judeo-Christian values, but that is apart from Christianity as an ideology or movement. You probably see people celebrating Christmas and Easter and how those relate to the pagan rituals of old. I understand how this can be confusing as an outsider looking in. The roman catholic church wanted to consolidate the pagan rituals with the Christian events and that is where the confusion comes from. This and many other reasons is why many Christians started the protestant movements because the roman catholic church was adding many unbiblical things and ruining the Church. I'm not sure about Jews praying in a mosque but what I can tell you is that Jesus is the head of the Church and since the Jews reject him as the Messiah, it would be hard for them to pray in his house. That goes for Islamists too. Jesus Christ is the definition of the grace of God. Muhammed has achieved NOTHING compared to Jesus, even compared to the prophets in the old testament. Don't take a biased look because this is not about you vs. me, it's about the truth. I feel that even though the Jews don't believe in Jesus being the Messiah, Islam is too far off the edge because it doesn't even share simple historical scripture. The Genesis account is different, and many other things don't align. Jesus healed people and brought them to life. Muhammed wounded and killed many just for the love of money and power. I can't understand how people would buy into that. Where's the decency, the care for human dignity?

The moment you said "someone read Taurah" and need improvement - this is when you are wrong. These are some of the glaring reasons 1) Taurah is not written by someone (human). It's a divine revealation from God, 2) Taurah, Injil (bible) and al-Quran are revealed by the same God (Allah). He, the almighty did improve his revealation. Instead, he changed it according to the ability of his subjects/human to abide by his words, 3) among these Books, Allah guarantees that al-Quran (the words) will never be modified in any way by human 4) Allah is all knowings. He appointed Muhammad saw who couldnt write and read as his messenger. So he cannot be "someone" who can copy from Taurah ... and X) al-Quran is the divine revealation. It contains knowledge that human at the time of revealation has no knowledge about. It's beyond human. Disclaimer: I am a muslim but not a Shariah expert, thus my knowledge is limited. The hatred toward jews stemming from christians and Islam is nothing short of ignorant agendas, complete misunderstanding of Torah teachings or interpretation, people need to start truly with a deep desire of learning Torah to study Torah, and pray very hard asking God to teach you and show you God's view and understanding of mankind, we cannot accomplish this without our own desire to learn and study Torah diligently, and dedicated, the sad thing is that is very hard and difficult to understand deep wisdom hidden in Torah , it takes a lot growth and development of one's intellectual and mental structure of your current thought- process . We are all brought up in our own cultural ,religious, political, spiritual dictated definition of our view of the world. And because we are conditioned to our own environmental design, we cannot accept a different view of things or perspective, we are by design habitual beings and we by nature cling to what we know based on our upbringing. This is why Torah study takes years and years to achieve a mental plateau of how things truly are . It takes lots of efforts and work and commitment to get there. Thankfully we have abundant Rabbis that dedicated their whole life to those matters and they transmit that to us we lack of knowledge. A lot of acceptance ,pain , maturity, struggle, suffering needs to go thorough in order for us to achieve that level of knowledge. Is like gold refined 7 times , our souls need lots of refining. Don't be too quick trusting your own understanding of things . We really don't know much ,lots of study is required .

It is We who will inherit the earth and whatsoever is on it. And to Us, they will be returned

I would say "closer" to Islam in practice, but I don't think they have a great deal in common with us. Their religions are based on the word of a man who essentially becomes holy in himself.

We have quite a lot in common. We do give a lot of importance to the Prophet Muhammad PBUH since he brought Islam to the world and received what we believe to be gods message, however he’s certainly not worshipped by any means nor considered holy in anywhere near the way of the Christian interpretation of Jesus, but rather the prophet is seen as being a good role model and that is why Muslims strive to emulate him. Islam n Judaism are inherently similar though; we have several additional prophets but beyond that it’s 90% the same, with the key belief of just 1 monotheistic god (as opposed to the Christian trinity)

@@ayhamshaheed7740 because Jesus was not just a Prophet. It would be a mistake to simply compare them like that. We believe that "A Word became Flesh" - a God who took a human body to save humanity from the Sin completely fulfilling the prophesies in the Old Testament.

Muhammad(PBUH) was so worried he'd be praised that he stressed no depictions of him in away exists...not of him and neither give any image to God. He advised to not pray to him but for him hence the acronym next to his name; PBUH = Peace Be Upon Him. I would say closest to Judaism: kosher = Halal, circumcision, monotheism, no symbol thats holy and praised. Muslim is allowed to pray in Synagogue, i believe vice versa as well, our call to prayer is very similar as well...also flesh of swine forbidden in both.

Christianity does not say that the Old Testament or Torah (first 5 books of OT) is "too something". It's God's word. We need to study and understand it because it's full of knowledge and lessons we need to learn.

Wow, how ignorant the rabbi is. In Islam Adam is the first prophet. In fact Islam acknowledges all prophets of the old and New Testament but makes some expert editing: all prophets were infallible, Jesus was the messiah however not the son of God or divine. Salvation is for absolutely everyone not only for a certain tribe. How can modern day Judaism save mankind if it’s an exclusive club with only a few being the chosen ones??? God is for everyone and both Christianity and Islam offer salvation to everyone. Further, islam is more than just a plagiarism from the Torah, it was revealed in a complete different language (although Semitic) and script from a prophet that descended directly from Abraham through Ishmael. Islam led to one of the greatest civilisations ever and although people may not like that but it attracts most new converts in this day and age. Open your heart and sincerely look for the truth…and you will be surprised.

Judaism is like often just the extreme, either believing in salvation by doing the most deeds in PRIDE or doing none at all. Christianity has deeds by faith, but in humbleness and realizing that our deeds are not our salvation at all, that no deeds could ever wash our sins clean, but that we do them because of our faith.

I would tell that no matter what the rabbi says, we are equal in the eyes of the Lord. Im a reformed yehudi. Before i converted to reformed judaism, i studied every other abrahamic religions. And its just the same. I hope also there be no pride and differentiation of principles coz we both love the Lord. Its just the matter of respect that me need and "though shall love thy neighbor" "thou shall not kill" and "love the Lord with all of your heart".

Every man's life ends the same way. It is only the details of how he lived and how he died that distinguish one man from another. If you believe in a creator and that there is purpose for you're life designed by the creator just live each day thankful you woke up in the morning and ask if the creator needs you tomorrow then give you 1 more day when you go to sleep and try and live each moment the best you can to work towards your purpose that you feel you are being lead towards and help others while on your path and it seems that no matter what else you think that is all we are capable of doing in this life.
