@Kel Rowland no it doesn't piss me off. The truth is we can never be sure with the Bible as there are many scriptures and different variations of it. It has been altered by many people and its original laws have been changed. The oldest Quran was found in Birmingham and when compared with the modern day Quran, word for word everything is still the exact same written. I could say the same thing for the Torah, both the Torah and Quran remain in their original form whereas the Bible hasn't so people can technically change anything up and say it's from Jesus.

Why didn’t God let his prophets die like Moses and Noah (peace be upon them) and grant their people the luxury of living however you want and getting paradise by doind nothing at all? What logic is that? How can someone believe in such a faulty story? İ hope one day you get to understand who God really is and that nothing compares to him. Jesus was his Messenger and the “holy spirit” is the angel Gabriel who conveyed the mesaage of God directly from God to the messengers. There is no trinity. 3 doesn’t equal one. And God definitely wouldn’t create a son for himself.

Well, I did enter church (for my bff’s wedding ) and some buddha’s temple and also been to few Hindu’s temple that located in my country .What I’m trying to say is well there’s no problem for muslim to enter others religion’s worshipping place but to answer your question: 1- Islam is the religion of easiness. 2- A Muslim is allowed to perform prayer in a church if he is forced to pray there. 3- If a Muslim prays in a church without necessity his prayer is valid but still it is reprehensible or makruh. 4- Whenever the necessity warrants a Muslim to perform prayer in a church, he should obtain the prior permission of the church authorities as Islam respects other people’s places of worship. So if any man from my nation realizes that he has to pray, then he may pray.” (Al-Bukhari) It is clear from the aforementioned Prophetic hadith that the whole earth is considered as a mosque for Muslims and a place for performing Salah and prostration. However, it is better for one to stay away from those places (such as a church or a synagogue) out of fear of doubtful matters. If one finds it extremely difficult to find a place to perform prayer except for a church or a synagogue, (personally I never prayed in a church or synagogue bc in my country it’s kind of easy to find mosque or you can prayed elsewhere that clean , even while traveling overseas I’m kind of never face this type of problem ) and he performs salah in them then one’s prayer is valid as the whole earth is for Allah and all of it is considered a mosque (i.e., meaning a place to perform prayer and to prostrate) for all Muslims. It is reported that `Umar Ibn Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) refused to pray inside the church and he prayed outside it in order to ward off any false notions that may occur to the minds of ordinary Muslims who may be enticed to pray at the exact place where `Umar performed prayer (i.e., inside the church)

I understand completely of the idea not to go into a church because of the statues and graven images which would be praying in the vicinity of idolatry. I'm not sure what "doubtful matters" mean because there could be doubtful matters within a mosque as well, considering an individual's perception of Allah. I think that it would be more spiritual to pray outside if one doesn't have his/her own religious sanctuaries around. What bothers me is the disrespect found when certain regimes do something sacrilegious in a house of worship. As an example, after the Inquisition, some synagogues and mosques were turned into pig slaughterhouses. Others were turned into churches which defame the concept of prohibiting graven images and symbols.

In Islam, you can pray almost anywhere as long as it is clean. Your intentions matter more than what/who is around you. You are not praying for a man made object. Even Mecca direction for prayer is symbolic, as in finding your way/path to truth not the boxed place. You re given guidances to find your path both physically and metaphorically (in case you can understand stars, north/east/west etc, just pray as God is everywhere and anywhere you are). So your purpose/intentions matter more than where you are! Also Islam says, love the created because of the creator. It doesnt discriminate against people for the sole purpose of faith! It asks you only to tell the truth you know, not force it. Noone is the judge but God! Also the only Quran is the last and protected untouched message (which according to islam, all the previous messages were of the same origin/content before they were modified/altered). Also only in Quran says in other faiths there are true believers among them (Surah Al-Ma'idah, 5.82-83...) For some reason, some/many Jews think they re chosen ones, and they are special, everyone else are kind of idolatry due to faith differences. Christians similarly think they re different, Jesus (Isa is actually the real name, somehow it has been translated which is not only wrong, but weird) died for their sins. Which is weird/wrong, as why would anyone says or think someone take a punishment for all of humanity? what kind of test is it if everyone's fault is attributed to one person at the end? Islam says everyone will be punished and rewarded accordingly to their deeds/actions, not your mom/dad/prophet/kids/president, but yourself alone! You are required to leave in peace with one another, it does not say in Mecca/Medina only, also it doesnt say only with muslims. it specifically says wherever you go, whoever you live with, you have to lead by example! We are all humans! Creation of God! In Hebrew, one of the words for God is Elohim, אֱלֹהִים, which is plural. The singular is Eloah, אֱלוֹהַּ⁠‎. The Aramaic term for this singluar form of God is Elaha, אֱלָהָא. The Syraic word is Alaha, ܐܠܗܐ. And, of course, the Arabic word is Allah, الٱِلٰه. It is literally the same God in terms of linguistics. I really enjoyed hearing various people's explanations of why different groups did or did not believe in the same God. However, my only issue is that I don't think some people understood the question properly. I think several people answered the question as to if there is only one God, and of course all three groups will answer "yes" to that. The best answers were people who understood the intricacies of why the different groups are even different groups to begin with. Morshad, the young man at 7:07, especially knows his stuff. I was very impressed with his answer.

Not the character or divine being, but the word itself. The word "Elohim" is plural; this is why the same word is used in many other parts of the Bible to describe a group of gods (usually Canaanite) that are not God. The singular form of the word "Elohim" is "Eloah," which is linguistically related to the word "Allah." If you don't understand what linguistics are then go look it up. :)

This punishment does not exist in Islam. Also in Judaism, the punishment for adultery is stoning to death, the Quran modified it to whipping..... I read somewhere that Allah comes form the word Al-ilah (meaning The God). In Hebrew and Aramaic it is Elah & Alah respectively, (E & A instead of I in Arabic). Also in in Arabic adding an "AL" before a word is the same as adding a "ha" after a word in Hebrew and Aramaic. So Al - ilah and Elah -ha both means the same thing, "The god".

Part of a Muslim’s essential belief is the belief that Muhammad PBUH was a messenger of God and the “seal” of Prophets. Judaism don’t believe this. That effectively makes a person a disbeliever of Islam, without question. Of course there are similarities, considering they are both Abrahamic faiths, but ultimately there’s a reason they’re considered two different belief systems. It’s either you’re Muslim, or you’re not, or you’re Jewish, or you’re not. Up to you at the end of the day, I’m just letting you know that it doesn’t make sense.

WHAT IS HE MEANING OF LIFE? To have a relationship with God on earth so you can spend eternity together in Heaven. So, what pushes me away from God? Sin (lying, unforgiveness, sexual sins from lust, dishonouring parents, steeling, taking the Lord’s Name in vain etc) which leads to hell. If he would ask me this question then I would get a straight answer: Of course, God is one for everybody. God had revealed 4 holy books into this world "Taurat, Zaboor, Injeel and Holy Quran". And if you research in some depth, all the holy books revealed by God consist of the same One God, same belief structure, same bad deeds which may give punishment, same obligations etc. It's only the humans themselves that have created this dissection amongst people and the world.

I thought about this question a lot, and went back-and-forth on my answer. If I had to only choose one answer, it would be that Christians, Muslims, and Jews do not worship the same God. Christians do worship the same God from the Old Testament from the Torah, however when they deny the deity of Jesus Christ, then they no longer worship God. Muslims also don’t believe that Jesus was God, only a prophet sent by God. Therefore, as a Christian, if you asked me, I would say we do not worship the same God.

I'm not sure how to use the terms, but metaphysically, all Abrahamic Religions supposedly worship the "God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob". However, the descriptions different religions and even within denominations (Protestants have Bible as definite word, Catholics have the Pope) the doctrines vary a lot, so they can't be talking about the same God as there's contradictions. So I subscribe to say we do all worship the same God but not all messengers of that understanding has the truth.

Islam is very clear that we all worship the same One God. Logically, there is only One God - but different beliefs _about_ the One God. Quran )29:46): "And do not argue with the *People of the Scripture* except in a way that is best, except for those who commit injustice among them, and say, "We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you. And *our God and your God is one;* and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him."" The confusion relating to Christian monotheism, is that, their belief in *The Father* corresponds to the same One God that Muslims and Jews refer to - and not Jesus himself. We may differ in their beliefs _about_ God as having a literal son in Jesus, or becoming incarnate in Jesus in the flesh - but it different beliefs doesn't mean we're not referring to the same God.

In the Christian West, only Judaism is known because the Old Testament is the Pentateuch, Islam is completely unknown at the theological level. In the church, in hollywood movies ... Judaism is always present since Jesus was a Jew from the time he was born until he died so yes, he is the same God although with nuances. In Christianity (in which I have been educated at least) God in the old testament is the creator to fear and in the new testament he is an entity that loves us and that Christians love. In the masses on Sundays everything focuses on the messages, advice and examples of Jesus because for Christians Jesus is also God ... and this is where collides with Judaism and Islam. Islam, which we are now beginning to know in the West, is the return to that creator God to fear. Same God but different conceptions.

Mmm, not quite. Christian here! I would contend we do worship one, united God - the same God as Muslims and Jews - but we understand that God in a very different way. Really, the best way to explain the Trinity is to explain humanity. A human is made of three parts - a body, a mind, and a consciousness. You take away the body, you have a brain in a jar. You take away the consciousness, and you have a coma patient. You take away the mind, you have a zombie. You can't seperate these parts, they are indivisible. You need all three for a complete, functional, and healthy person. For me then, the key is that Christians believe that humans are made in the "image" of God. Hence, those three components correspond to the trinity - the body corresponds with the Son, the consciousness the Father, and the mind the Holy Spirit. The thing that trips people up is the word persons. They get confused, because we say three persons and people think we mean three Gods, which is an absurdity. God is more than a person, arguably beyond and before personeness as such. A person is to a God like a shadow is to a person - thus, we say that God isn't just Jesus, *or* the Father, *or* the Holy Spirit, but rather, the Trinity in its entirety, which is the United One God in a way analogous to a 4th dimensional cube being made up of several regular cubes. Jesus is God in the same sense that when you point at my body, you point at me. The Father is God in the same sense that when you refer to my "inner monologue," you refer to me. And the Holy Spirit is God in the same sense that when you talk about my emotions and subconscious, you talk about me. It's all Him. Indeed, wherever you see the Son, the Father and Holy Spirit *are present*. Hence also why Jesus says, "Nobody comes by the Father, except through me." In part, it's a very literal statement. Jesus is the eyes, ears, hands, and feet of God, metaphorically speaking. When you and I observe creation, our body always stands between us and creation as it truly is - our eyes see, but only certain grades of light, our ears hear, but only certain pitches, etc. So too then stands Jesus between us and the Father (if you're Christian), with the exception that Jesus, being God, has perception which is unlimited. It is not for God's sake that He stands between us, but for our sake. Our body already can't handle that which is created in it's entirety - the uncreated in its rawest form would annihilate us. Hence, Jesus is the "Son of God," but also the "Son of Humanity," for the Son prexisted in Heaven, and became incarnate for, among many other things, our basic comprehension. Finally, then, the Holy Spirit I would liken to the mind. The body has fixed form, the consciousness has no form whatsoever, but the mind? I would argue the mind has form, just not fixed form, in the same way that water's form is not fixed - it takes form, but the form changes depending on the context. You can remember and imagine all sorts of things with the mind, but they all fall away in due time without the command of the consciousness. Similarly, the Holy Spirit takes form, it acts at its descretion, but it recieves direction from the Father as the Son recieves direction from the Father, analogous to how the body and mind recieves direction from the consciousness. Finally, then, I would point out that begotten and proceeded from is language mirroring humanity. Your body is begotten *with* your consciousness, but your mind proceeds from that same consciousness at the same time. All of that is to say, I believe in one God. This God has revealed Himself to the Jewish people. That God then more fully revealed who and what he is to the followers of the Christ. Obviously I'm not a Muslim, so my story ends there, but love and peace and beautiful days to my Muslim and Jewish brothers and sisters. Maybe one day, at the resurection at the end of time, we can all hug eachother and laugh about how we used to fight eachother over the truth, when we were destined to face the Truth in the hereafter all along.
