IS KAGOSHIMA JAPAN WORTH IT (port day with MSC Cruises)

How to go to downtown from the cruise and how to get back to the cruise , Is there any public bus from-to the cruise to down town and back to the cruise

Hi! So MSC did not provide any buses for us (they did but you had to pay) so we walked from the port to the nearest subway station, which was just under one mile. Otherwise you could get a taxi!

@RaarupAdventures, That’s a shame that MSC made passengers pay for the bus. My last cruise, on Celebrity, had the buses lined up to take us to the port. Funny enough, we’re on the MSC Bellissima leaving Shanghai in a couple of weeks, and one of the stops is…Kagoshima. Fortunately, we’re been there before. Nice vlog by the way!

@@RaarupAdventuresAloha what month were you there? I’m trying to do the math…were you there in June or July? (You said a few weeks ago and it’s currently April and you said a few WK’s ago 9 mos ago so I get June or July?) We’re looking at an MSC cruise in late sept 2024 but it’s higher $ at 619 for 5 nights plus it departs at 7p arrives 545a so more like 4 nights We’re looking for a little early extra add on to a vacay meeting friends in Tokyo Thank you for sharing!!
