@MarkFranquizMuzik8 ай бұрын
Tbh I think the issue is KD is the primary example of someone who wants their cake and to eat it too . Follow me for one second . This generation of players wants the freedom to go where they want , force trades , team up with players . And after all that they want to control how we the fans feel about it . KD literally wants us all to stfu and have no opinion on anything because he’s good at basketball. He cares too much about being liked . I mean , this is the man who engages with strangers on the internet . He’s extremely sensitive and dare I say ….. not a leader . That doesn’t make me a “hater” . I don’t know the man to hate him . Just calling what I see .

@@MarkFranquizMuzik yea but who’s to say what leadership is. They aren’t in the locker room each day, and they solely believe that leadership is the best player has to be yelling at everyone when things aren’t going as well as they possibly could. They are 6th in the West with a pieced together roster, and all three stars have been in and out the lineup all season long. If you look at the last 15 years of champions i could make a case that the type of leadership from the best or 2nd best player on the team they are looking for has been the outlier not the rule. From 09 to now you got Kobe, Bron and let’s throw in Draymond. All the other teams, Dirk, Duncan, Steph, Kawhi, Jokic, Giannis…ain’t none of these dudes the type of leaders they are saying KD needs to be. The real truth is deep in your response, KD’s an easy target because he will engage or respond. They did the same thing with Kobe but in a different way. The narrative with Kobe was nobody wanted to play with him, he was to hard on players. We can’t have it both ways, which leads to my personal opinion that these talking heads on tv will say anything to evoke an emotion from the players or us as fans. Perk ain’t played with KD in 10 years, people evolve and ain’t none of us in the locker room with him everyday. I just think it’s kind of whack to label people in that manner when it’s subjective and not a matter of fact. And I’m a Kobe fan, so I like that style…but I ain’t questioning KDs leadership

They drafted KD at number two saying he will never make it in the league unless he was bigger. What they know from the past is all they can speak on and it’s forgivable. Yet currently the same player they have continued to disrespect all his career is sitting just 200 hundred points away from surpassing the biggest player in the history of the league Shaq who’s number 8 on all time scoring list doing it in less games. The biggest KD hater is actually no other person than this Shaq mentioned above. You can say Chuck on TNT inside the NBA is the one who is always taking personal shots at KD throughout his career but it’s always Shaq who is instigating him or adding more fuel to fire. Anytime he makes a point he will also tell you how dominant he was and also show you he got four championships and he has the right to criticize players. But how many times was Shaq swept before he teamed up with Kobe go look it up. When you really pay attention it’s not more than hate for a guy who is about the same height as him but weighs half his size switching the game up on what a 7 footer is supposed to be. KD instead of eating burgers all day to put weight on and stay under the basket waiting for someone to throw him the ball has changed the game long ago. It’s that what drives the hatred from guys like Shaq who are being extinct as their style of play is diminishing. So whenever KD is being highlighted on TNT you can see and hear Shaq trying to distract himself always throughout his KD’s career by making noises. Shaq is the type that craves attention and will do anything to get in the spotlight and you can hear him making noises when attention is being directed towards someone else. Just watch few past segments and you can clearly identify moments he starts throwing tantrums like a child. The rest of the media are the same ones like SAS who said KD was going to be a bust and don’t want to say they were wrong as they spent all of his career waiting on his downfall. As soon as anything negative happens they will be first to report about him to justify he is anything else besides what he is shown them. It just so happens he came along during social media era when regular folks can also have platform and he interacts with them about the game differently from what they heard about him from this old talking heads. They can’t stand that first they said he was going to not make it and now with media he is able to tell his own story. So they will go down to their graves praying for him to make the slightest mistake to pounce on. He has done everything on the court but they keep saying leadership talk is just the way they can say see we were right he didn’t deserve to be the number one pick. What a shame they are so old and yet they can’t say all those kids in the league grew up wanting to play like him moving the game forward but they are stuck in the past. The game has long changed when KD began working on handling the ball like a guard when he was young. When he was doing it in college it was talked on media as he will never succeed and be a bust but now everyone who is tall or big is adapting his style of handling the ball and shooting from range. The biggest hypocrites will say KD you are like 7 foot why don’t you average more rebounds like he stays under the basket like they did all their careers. He is a combination of all players like a guard to the center fitting everywhere and don’t compare yourself to this once in a generation player.
