Very helpful thanks! I'm very impressed with Korg Gadget 3 - I have the iPad version. I picked up the Santa Ana rhythm guitar too, and iI'm really enjoying it - especially the strat sounds that can be played like an instrument, with bends and everything.

Its a bit confusing on their website - am I right in assuming that if you buy Gadget 3 for Mac that includes all the gadgets in the Plugin version, and they can be used as plugins in Ableton? I.e. there would never be a reason to buy the plugin version if you have bought Gadget 3?

If you purchase the iOS version, do you still need to purchase the desktop as well?

the desktop version is more... not sure why but the ios version is better than all of korgs products from start to almost current.. korg ios apps are not cheap. So if you buy them all, you bought all of korgs stuff at almost hardware prices...slight dicount for for studio space! lol

i am still building an IOS studio.. ipad pro m2.. slightly cheaper than a mac book pro or pc home setup but you still need some dope hardware (interface, mic, headphones, monitors etc) as well as the different apps to do it right.

let me start with this, Korg is Korg.. when I hear that, I am thinking pro sound and great sound design tools. this app is the truth if you are a musician! its simple, it has what you need and more, and it is focused on production... I would improve visuals but thats for eyes and not ears... Korg nailed it! Korg sounds on your ipad or iphone even!! PORTABLE PRO SOUND!

Does the package contain classic korg instruments like the triton or Electribe series?

If you turn on MIDI ADVANCED you get all tracks playing. If you have MIDI set to EASY tracks play individually...

I have to resist getting sucked into any company's ecosphere (learning my lesson with apple). I like the Korg nanokey but won't buy it because I don't want to get roped into only using Gadget 3 and all the nickle/dime expenditures getting my music production environment set up. I'll stick to BM3 or Cubasis and pick a midi keyboard that is software agnostic. Thanks for your work.
