She’s worth it if: 1: you like Tamamo’s face servants. 2: you want a buster semi-support. 3: you want a beast support servant. 4: you want a servant to stack dmg through status (burn, poison, curse). 5: she works with Gogh, Kuku doesn’t. 6: you just like her because she’s cool and has a top tier design. If everything you want is just an aoe buster dps foreigner then wait for Kuku because even at np1 she does more damage than Koyan Dark np1. I roll for her and I’m sure I’ll not regret it later since she’ll be a semi-support in my Chaldea, I appreciate any servant who can give big battery away.

Well I wanted her for one reason. She is a foreigner, I happened to get her with the free quartz given but outside one welfare, foreigners did not come to my Chaldea. I have practically all of the other classes, but could not get a foreigner.

I think you are underselling her a lot when comparing to Kukulkan, since Kuku lacks Entity of the Outer Realm. Yes, Kuku is the better farmer, but out of the two, you can only use Dark with Van Gogh as a crit team, and that slaps hard. Especially paired with her 3-turn-igno-inv, this makes her a great choice for challenge quests/boss fights - and that while still being but a good farmer.

Depends on your box I think. I think if your box is limited, getting Koyan Dark and Koyan Light for new year's will let you farm pretty comfortably for the next half year. If you already have Morgan/Melusine/Arjuna Alter types and have the meta supports, you can probably skip her.

I have Koyan Light but didn't have Koyan Dark on my radar. Having listened to this video breaking down her kit, I will concede that her kit is pretty damn good. Foreigners are also a rarity in my Chaldea, with only Summer Abby and Mysterious Idol X Alter filling in for my anti-Berserker needs. I would certainly welcome a Koyan Dark to join that role, especially if for whatever reason it's a node full of Berserkers exclusively that need farming. Unfortunately, I'm practically out of SQ. Got just a measly 120 SQ from the Advent Calendar, Tunguska Sanctuary completion, New Year campaign, and some leftover Rank-Up quests I completed recently. Melusine ate upwards of 400 SQ and 51 tickets the past two weeks. I need to start saving up for Summer Skadi. Koyan Dark would be lovely to have, but isn't a priority right now.

Always touch the Fluffy Tail. Thankfully she did not need pity like her Light version. Dark came with 135 sq. Thank goodness she came easily, so the rest of the 1000 SQ can go towards the great Summer SQ massacre. There are like 4 major SSRs one after another then.

Honestly, it's really personal preference. She IS very good, and hits amazingly well when everything lines up. She isn't the strongest, but as long as you have decent supports, that won't matter at all. I got her for the complete Koyan set. Worth, IMO.

I just want one copy. I had 240SQ and 40Tickets (12 multi in total). I got her on my 5th multi. My friend told me to do some mor multies for the 5* CE (I had 3 copies). I went all in and this happened to be my best banner ever. I NP5'd Koyan dark within the remainng multies. I got about 9, 4* servants several gold CE's. I got my first copy of Astrea. I got my first copy of Black grail and K scope, after playing for 4 years. THIS was the creziest banner for me as a F2P. (Ps: I got melusine on the first multi several days ago)

The team support argument is a moot point. It's helpful for sure but the problem becomes you're relying on supports to buff her. Once you use koyanskaya dark you realize any team utility is just for show and the buffs are all meant for her benefit. The 2 different ways to use her are one, obviously as a buster farmer especially once you get her mana loading maxed out to make it easier and give her more options. Thebother way to use her is the super orion approach where her NP is not your focus but her normal attack damage since her crit buff along with others youre giving her push her to super orion levels of card damage. So she does have 2 ways to be used and she does have challenge quest utility for the more tanky enemies. So koyanskaya dark was a step in the right direction for the foreigner class but Kukulan ended up becoming the peak of the foreigner class with some busted passives alone.

Got a quick question who should I summon for? the top characters I want are Melusine (I recently got her thanks to the gacha gods and want her to be NP2), Oberon because he’s hella good at support and I just finished LB6 and I think he’s awesome af (I also have skadi, castoria, and koyan), either of the Kiaras because I already have summer and NP2 would make her better and Alter Ego bc I like Kiara, Squirtoria bc I already have her and NP2 will def make her better and more loopabale, Avenger Kama is not one I am dying for since I already have her but I don’t mind getting her again but Ik getting her to NP2 will make her much better, another one I don’t mind getting would be Rider alter since I need her to be np2 to be better and I love Artoria, also wouldn’t mind getting muramasa again either I already have him NP2 and I love shirou, I do need space Ishtar as well and I don’t mind getting Ruler Artoria. (Sorry for rambling but can someone give me any tips?)

No Koyan dark joy for my main acct. 10 Multis and 12 tix resulted in 6x5* CE (which rocks btw) 0 Koyan darks, an Achilles spook (NP3), 2xVllad Lancers(NP3), 1xOG Helena (NP6), 1xFionn (also NP6), and a D'eon (NP3 ) on top of pulling Ryouma lancer from the GSSR (6 out of 7 chance for a decent pick and I get that piece of crap). However, my alt account was a bit more fortunate: GSSR netted a Marie Antoinette and a Summer Kama which left me just enough SQ for one multi for the Koyan dark banner... which was just enough to bring her home.

I only had enough for two multis, and Oberon gave me the finger again on the gssr pull (got bunny artoria instead) so I did two Multis on Koyans banner and got her on the second one, then threw 10 tickets at her banner and got her again. So just like when her light half came out I got two copies of her dark half as well.
