@@kysaanhall3769 iverson was the 76ers entire offense so what i mean by kyrie has the luxury to dance… Is because kyrie plays on teams where he isnt to focal point in an era where teams have multiple scorers. AI spent less time slowing down because once he if he did slow down. The double will come and he couldn’t trust anyone else to carry the load. AI ran the floor to stay ahead of the defense and control the game at his pace he’d loose if not.

@ricardon.2641

Because you can't touch the players. Kyrie would be a different type of dribbler if he played in Iverson's time. He would've had to. Those cracks and crevices would just not be safe to squeeze through. The NBA rules have opened up those pathways that were never meant to be accessible. Notice how there are so many knee and ankle injuries now vs back then despite it being more physical then. The physicality kept players honest with their angles.

It’s hard to call him or anyone right now the greatest ball handler when the reality is that every time anyone in the nba dribbles the ball they are constantly carrying and traveling. It invalidates their game. It’s sad. Show me the ability to ooh and aaah and lose defenders without travelling. Tim Hardaway bamboozled defenders and was impossible to stay in front of. He did it without traveling and without carrying the ball. Allowing rampant cheating diminishes the excellence of talent. Who knows who the best is if everyone is allowed to cheat.
