The Patriot Act was one of the most important shows / sources of information during its run. I miss the immense value that it provided citizens and the way it strengthened democracy and kept people informed. It was a milestone in broadcasting. It deserved all the Peabodys and Emmys. I miss it. The network might have bowed to Saudi murderers or whatever the reason was for canceling the show, but we are all worse off as Americans for it.

@prajwalkrishnabhat55394 ай бұрын
@@ilmari23from an x's and o's point of view, he definitely can be a good coach but coaching is not just about making the right play, but there's also the handling of the players and doing good substitutions at the right time and the enormous amount of media attention he'll get as a Lakers coach will be difficult for him to handle at least during his first year. He needs time and time is not good his friend right now.

Same! It’s bitter sweet but I’m happy for the guy and commend him for following his dream. Media ain’t going anywhere no time soon.
@jambononi4 ай бұрын
@@prajwalkrishnabhat5539 also it's easier to critique something versus being in the moment and making that decision. Obviously that's all up for debate when he does his first year and hopefully more. Also his approach and commitment to that approach will be interesting. You'll notice that the Celtics had a very granular and systematic approach. That relentless commitment to the miniscule details and getting everyone on board for the ride must be near impossible. Let alone not getting the right players and stuff like that or imagine being the coach of the Nuggets right now. Losing all their key role players, how do you deal with that realistically? Unfortunately he's a celebrity who will be analysed relentlessly with a mediocre overall team. Good luck to him though! He's definitely no push over.

Hasan, I wouldn't say this (Mind the Game) hasn't been done befjore. Kobe's Detail was analytical too (though not to the level as Mind the Game). That said, what JJ does is, he does what HE wants, and typically, there's an audience for anything. KZbin shows that. Any rabbit hole of a topic exists. I respect JJ for that. It's not solely about feeding the masses with content but doing content that you are passionate about. But what he really wants is to go back into the trenches and use that brain as a coach. Clearly as he pursued this. So though I will miss his presence in the media world, congrats JJ!
