I'm old enough to have watched most of the great players' entire careers from Kareem to the current players. For me: #1 Kareem, #2 Jordan, #3 LeBron. Bill Russell had the most titles (the path to the finals in his era was relatively easier, less opponents and less rounds, compared to later years) and averaged only 15 ppg while Wilt won only 2 titles despite his personal stats. Either way, all these players also had great players around them.
