Ive been eating Lee's since i was a kid. My first job was near one of the original locations in Kalamazoo. My go to order is the strips with potato wedges and coleslaw. Their coleslaw is my favorite. Lee's use to offer corn on the cob as a side but ours doesn't anymore. I usually bring home an extra container of coleslaw because my daughter loves it too. I think the aftertaste is from the grease. It's not usually like that

Thanks for reviewing this spot. I've seen them on Doordash and Ubereats when im too lazy to leave the house after work to get dinner lol. But was reluctant to pull the trigger just in case it wasn't good. Closest location to me is in Roseville, might have to give them a try this weekend. Thanks fellas!

Good Thanksgiving Eve my friend. Hope you are doing well this week. What are the plans for Thanksgiving for the Frezza family? Ours will actually be pretty small this year. Just having my parents over and having a great day of relaxing and being thankful! Also watching the Packers and seeing what they can do. I have been pretty impressed by your Lions these past couple of years. I am used to the Pack on top, but the Lions have been the boss as of late. I guess we will see what happens for the rest of the year. 10-1 is a great place to be for you guys! Well, as I remember, I did like Lee's Chicken. We do have one location in Wisconsin in Wausau. That is where my Grandmother lived and we would get some Lee's Chicken when we would visit her. It was pretty good. Not sure if it was better then KFC, but it did have a great taste. Have not had it in many years since my Grandmother passed on. Have a great Thanksgiving my friend and enjoy it. God bless!

Thanks, my friend! We're just chilling with family at my in-laws for Thanksgiving dinner, then probably heading to one of my brothers as well. I'm not a football fan at all, Vito is though. It's funny, he's a Raiders fan because to be honest, the Lions have been the laughing stock of the NFL for as long as I've been alive. The city is really Lions crazy this year. I do hope they do well. Lee's Famous Chicken was a really nice review and I enjoyed them very much. I will definitely be going back again. You said that some of the old KFC locations where you are at are being converted to Lee's Famous Chicken, the building you went to looks to me like it was a former Arby's building but not totally sure. The old KFC locations around here (California) were rebuilt and reopened as Popeyes now.

Correct. That was definitely a KFC and the one we used to shoot videos from up until they closed it a few years ago.

I grew up with Lees Famous Recipe closer to me than KFC. Their coleslaw has some sort of narcotic in it. Their livers were amazing. Its a unique mashed potato and gravy experience compared to KFC and the chicken tasted more battered than breaded if that makes sense. Either way, far away from any Lees Famous Recipe in Hawaii.

LOL! No dash cam. OnStar is all in the mirror as well as a camera that acts as a review mirror.
