I'm so glad that you found this helpful! Have you wondered about Licorice root before? Or had concerns about using it?

I'm sorry but in both of these videos I feel like the most important question or one of the most wasn't asked. If you are using licorice root and have extremely low cortisol levels (burnout), does taking it actually help repair/heal the adrenal glands? In theory, having more cortisol circulating would make the adrenals want to produce less, thereby helping "rest" the burned out adrenals? I wish this was touched on.

The problem isn't that you have broken adrenal glands. The issue is the disruption of the communication loop of the HPA axis. So no, taking licorice doesn't disrupt the loop nor prevent your adrenals from "resting". They aren't tired... they aren't injured. I get the impression from your word choice that you've read a lot about "adrenal fatigue" and the incorrect language often used to describe the issue at hand. Adrenal fatigue isn't real... it's an old concept that has since been replaced by a clearer understanding of the HPA feedback loop. I hope this helps.

@@jenfugo Ok better question then. Does this help repair the loop disruption?

So is it a steroid?

No, I'd recommend you actually watch the video and then check out part 2 to better understand this. Everyone who claims it is a steroid is spreading false information
