Hi Suchi... I just love every vlog of yours. The simplicity and calmness of your voice is much needed everyday for me. I can say for sure now that you only you is my favorite youtuber from amongst whichever youtuber I saw. Really speaking from bottom of my heart... How can anyone be so simple, humble, n so good your voice has that calmness, patience which is required by everyone in today's life because today life is so hectic all are running with time no patience at all. But you are different really. I learn many things from you how to be patient n thankful to life. How to be happy in small regular things. Away from materialistic life. As a person I admires you lot. I had requested many times but once again just to remind you please upload a video how to be positive in life no matter what n how can one stay away from materialistic life. Hope you will fulfill my wish. Please spread your knowledge of positivity to us.

Very good one. Thanks a lot for all the information about new comers in Canada. Missed that quote you used to show during the start of the video. Those quotes are amazing. I believe that if we are able to be at peace with ourselves then solitude is also a best friend that we can have.

Ur words were very true regarding feeling lonely. Actually, the kids grow so fast. That u dont realise when did they get into their teenage. They get busy in their life, husbands in their official commitments. So many Indian women are getting into neglected phase or into depression. So one should learn to feel happy by being lonely too!Otherwise life would be very difficult to pull on. Regarding the Culture difference, the kids are facing. Like abroad, The Indian kids are literally confused n messed up between Indian n western culture. Since u had spent ur school , college life and even worked in India, u can catch n analyse my points well. Though our parents are liberal, broadminded, they have never allowed us( when we were kids) to be so bindass. We used to attend our friends birthday partys or might have spent a night them. But these kids dont want parents to accompany them to school or to their kids place after Class 10. Secondly, we never argue with our parents and follow their set of instructions sincerely. Nowadays, the kids are so much into cell phones, i pads and PS,the studies n the focus in life had taken a backseat. We the parents are losing the patience , clueless to handle them and too much of yelling happens in most of the houses. I have asked this question to u As u have spent ur life in India and ur kids in Canada. GUIDE THE PARENTS LIKE ME.

true now time has changed so parenting also need to change , i believe in worrying less and talking more and more with them , sometime screaming scolding doesn't solve the problem , handling it calmly when there mood is good is v imp

Hi, Your videos are very informative, we are moving to Canada from Mumbai in mid June. My wife is also an only child. Can you make a video on how you made sure that your parents were taken care of while moving. It will help us a lot. Especially if there is no other family support in India.

i am blessed that my cousin and my masi are just like one family and they take care of them always , but its something bothers me always and honestly nothing can be done, maybe convince them to move to Canada with you, applying for parents once you are in Canada is not so tough, we are also trying the same

There is no equal substitute for taking care of your parents than your physical presence. I was based in USA close to a decade and thought of settling down for good and depend on my extended family to take care of my parents. But, there was always a nagging guilt in my mind whenever they required me of being in India for anything including simple doctoral visits etc. Finally, I made this decision to return to India in 2019 after hearing my inner voice even though all other outer voices and physical comfort of life in USA was saying otherwise. I kept my return as surprise from my parents and when I stood in front of them, tears rolled out of their eyes knowing that I came back to be with them. Right now, I am starting to do something of my own here in India and I have made a firm decision to keep an inclusive plan (which includes my senior generation) to plan the years ahead. So, always hear your inner voice and be happy will be my humble suggestion. Take care.

These are the great moments n memories we cherish and miss, while our kids leave our home and go away for their higher studies etc.....I'm just there at the moment and wondering how I am going to handle that.
