This video just came up when I needed it. I created an account on linkedin last December. Still tryna figure out how it works so few days back I saw someone with a service page I also decided to set it up So today I saw notifications from admin page. With requests from clients. I was confused whether they were mine or not😂. I even had to ask a friend what's going on, he had no idea But after watching this now I understand. Thank you

I bet they'll offer you a faster JSS revision on Upwork in exchange for not advocating for alternative marketplaces 😀 Regards

When working with clients on Linkedin, how are you handling billing, escrow, contracts, and other related tasks?
@FreelanceFamilyMan4 күн бұрын
I just send an invoice from. Quickbooks where they can click a link to pay online and if they don't pay by the deadline, which is usually 30 days then interest starts getting added on as a penalty. So no escrow, just online invoice. And for contracts, I just send over a standard contract from them to sign digitally or use DocuSign.

Hey! I’m a top rated plus freelancer with an excellent JSS. I’m wanting to gather some feedback. I put a good amount of proposals out and honestly… very few clients are hq or serious about their jobs on the job board. If I submit 10 proposals, 2 maybe viewed or interviewed and these clients have TRASH budgets. The clients posting jobs and not inviting are newbies in my experience and they only want cheap work and discounts. I’m going to really try and bid high on PPC method and see if it works better… Curious if bidding HIGH will yield better invites from high quality clients

I think that's worth experimenting with, I noticed the same thing where at least half of the proposals I submitted, the businesses didn't have much intention and didn't end up hiring anyone. Upwork needs to clean that up because it's such a waste of connects when a client posts a job and then doesn't end up interviewing anyone or have real intent to hire.

@ PPC method does yield more invites at 25+ connects but the jobs are honestly crap and low paying still. Gone are the days the availability badge crushing it. They want us on a hamster wheel continuously buying connects as it’s an auction system, the higher the bid, the more clients see you but it doesn’t mean the clients are anymore quality for the price you pay per click
