Love love love the liquid charcoal. Kohl is the darkest black they use kohl in eyeliner believe its Arabian, If you are good with values then it can be so fun.

Thank you for a lovely video. I haven't tried it, but I really love the look of it on its own as well as under the watercolour. But I am a fan of black and white so I would probably use it alone.

The best way to use it is alone OR mixing it with watercolor paints, just a little bit and you get a beatiful granulation. I hope you can try it

This was fun 🎉 I have never seen this product. This was a great video packed full of information and experiments. I like the look of it under the watercolor. I love the dog and cat doodles ☺️ especially the dachshund on the apple page❤ Too cute!!🥰

i was laughing out loud when you said " it's adding something to the painting ... I'm not sure what" 😂😂😂 I was thinking that the liquid charcoal would be great for figure sketching, gesture sketching, life sketching .. we have toooo many choices lolol ❤ Norakag

yeah! new medium, I’m using it everywhere now until I forget about it while playing with a new one.

I love it, it looks a lot like Derwent Graphitint. Love the happy accidents too! 😊 Would you show us the difference between using charcoal and something like Payne’s grey (watercolor) to paint the values and then color on top, please? And maybe go crazy and try other different mediums for the values/base layer too!
