Is LK-99 real? Does it even matter if it is?

There is too much to say about it. Unfortunately, it will likely not revolutionize everything, even if it proves to be real.

Shortly after publishing, I found another source claiming that the initial paper shows resistance at the lowest point being indistinguishable from normal metals... in other words, the presented graphs are actually at a scale that makes them meaningless.

@@guard13007 Whats amazing is the hype that is being displayed by various channels and people like as if it is already a reality. So far as I can see, no one has been successful in replicating and achieving the claimed superconductivity. Part of me was hoping i was wrong with my scepticism.

As a space nerd and a fan of rockets My ideal outcome for this would be it being very difficult to manufacture the kind of purity you need to make LK99 work on a planetary body so just like medical drugs getting a higher purity and a zero g environment perhaps we'll see the onslaught of small manufacturing on orbit startups take a look at LK99 for zero g manufacturing

@@guard13007 i remember seeing one tweet from a space manufacturer startup saying they dont fly science they fly products. So perhaps in the future we might see it
