Street tents on Tottenham Crt Rd at 12:23 timeline. A brief blot on the London West End landscape. Apart from that the Streets on this route look clean, tidy and well kept. Shocking???!!!! I'm not so sure. But I'll be interested to check out those tents later this month.

Thanks for your comment. I found it shocking and disheartening as having worked in this borough previously with the homeless a decade ago it seemed things were worse than previously and just accepted. The rows of tents around M&S on the opposite side of the road looked more recent but the tents, clutter on the other side seemed to be more settled (if anyone knows differently please correct me). I'd be interested to know how the local homeless projects now operate in Camden as previously it was pretty efficient and well run. You are right though, the majority of the route was clean with lots of new developments going up which is always a positive sign.

@RealisticTourist Thanks for that. And good that you were involved with the homeless. Our big annual London homeless 'Crisis at Christmas' campaign has already kicked off. And any day now the Xmas youtube video walkers will be posting up their festive videos, what with the Carnaby Street lights being turned on tomorrow ( Thursday), no doubt with top London street youtuber 'Watched Walker' leading the way, as well as Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park opening week after next. But for sure, you are patient creating your long Street walks. I find it very difficult, and I'll probably resort to multiple takes and editing come this London Christmas.

Thanks. I have started seeing the first few Christmas ones, I saw the Trafalgar Square market being set up. I'm going to post my longest video later today (if my laptop doesn't combust in the process) which has my first Christmas market, Leicester Square, which will be the only part of the hour long video that requires editing (due to loud background music that KZbin will no doubt flag up!) I was never intending on doing walking videos but they get by far the most watch hours so that tells me something, still suffering a KZbin identity crisis but hopefully in time it will work itself out!

@@RealisticTourist Yes, I think we've all been waiting to start our Christmas video walks. And this will be my first proper one now that I've mastered my video editor. Of course we'll all head to the usual places, but I'm always looking for those overlooked hidden gems. Yes the music issue can be annoying especially when passing those festive stalls. Good luck with the Xmas Market. Hope to visit Trafalgar Square Market and the lighting of the Tree in early Dec.

What is new? London has been changing my whole life and I am 62. Are you blaming unhoused folk?

Hi, thanks for your comment. As I previously spent years working with homeless services, including in this borough, I was surprised that services appear to be getting worse that people are living in tents on streets in the centre of the capital city with the world passing by as is if isn't an issue.
