I was raised in church all of my life and “repented of my sins” Numerous times going forward doing my part. It wasn’t until I turned 54 years old that God revealed this true Gospel to me. Praise Jesus his work took away my sins.

This Jack Hyles doctrine rejects repenting of sin which was Jesus's first and final command. No repentance no Salvation.

@@2Chronicles714_ You don't know what repentance means....have you repented and stop sinning? You sin everyday. If you say you love God and hate your brother, you are a liar. Proud thoughts, selfish ambitions, not being fruitful (winning souls 30 fold, 50 fold, 100 fold) is bad soil....and you are lost. How many souls have you brought to God? By the way, Christs last command was to go unto all the world and make Disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit teaching them to observe all that I have commanded.....(which is to love your neighbor and do good). You cannot even cite everything he commanded.....let alone observe them....

@@2Chronicles714_ I see your comments on other video commenters. You know what you are? You are one who sows seeds of declension and a grace perverter. You hold to the Laws of Moses believing they will keep you saved because you don't understand scripture. I gave you reference to Acts 15 but you are too blind to understand. Acts 15:5 - But some of the sect of the Pharisees WHO BELIEVED rose up saying, It is necessary to circumcise them AND TO KEEP THE LAW OF MOSES (10 Commandments). v7 Peter rose up and said to them, "by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the Gospel and BELIEVE. v9 purifying their hearts by faith. v10 Why therefore do you test God by putting a yoke of bondage (the law) on their neck that neither their fathers nor us could bear?" V24 who said you must be circumcised or keep the law of Moses? - to whom we gave no such commandment." Furthermore, Paul and Peter and Barnabas in Romans (same Jerusalem conference) Romans 9:8 "Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the WHOLE law." Paul states that in v9 the Law of Moses...all 10, then says all the law is summed up in one command "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Christ brought a new law, not one of death but of grace and peace and love. Thinking the law will save you, you will die because you can't keep it, nor can you keep it by having Christ in your life. Which is what Paul taught as he himself struggled with this concept. But you sir, you don't get it and yet you troll these channels trying to sow wickedness and you will be judged by your own cold soul.

@endtimesareuponus8930 trust and belief are synonymous with faith And to the one who does not work but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness, Romans 4:5 if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 For we hold that one is justified by faith apart from works of the law. Romans 3:28 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1 And be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith- Philippians 3:9 Yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified. Galatians 2:16 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life. John 5:24 But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. John 20:31

Thanks for the comment, hope you are doing good. I just wanted to share some things I've been seeing in the word lately. This is amazing truth. Let me know your thoughts about it... The writer of Hebrews said that Christ died *FOR THE SINS COMMITTED UNDER THE FIRST COVENANT.* We were not under the first Covenant. Hebrews 9:15 ...For Christ died to set *THEM* free from the penalty of the sins *THEY had committed UNDER THAT FIRST COVENANT.* We did not commit sins under that first Covenant. Also...Jesus said... He was *ONLY* sent to the lost sheep of the house of Isreal. That is not us. Matthew 15:24 But He answered and said, *"I was sent ONLY to the lost sheep of the house of Isreal."* Acts 5:31 He is the one whom God exalted to His right hand as a Prince and a Savior, *TO GRANT REPENTANCE to ISRAEL, and FORGIVENESS of SINS.* It's all about ISRAEL... not us. Also... Paul said... *Jesus was sent TO REDEEM THOSE WHO WERE UNDER THE LAW.* Galatians 4:4-5 4But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, *BORN UNDER THE LAW, 5So that He might REDEEM THOSE WHO WERE UNDER THE LAW...* We were never under the law. Romans 3:19 Now we know that whatever the law says, *IT SAYS TO THOSE WHO ARE UNDER THE LAW...* Psalm 147:19-20 19He declares His word to *JACOB,* His statutes and judgments to *ISRAEL.* 20He has done this for *NO OTHER NATION;* they do not know His judgments Hallelujah! Amos 3:1-2 *1People of ISRAEL,* I rescued you from Egypt. Now listen to my judgment against you. 2 Of all NATIONS on earth, *you are the ONLY ONE I HAVE CHOSEN. THAT'S WHY I will punish YOU because of YOUR sins.* The second Covenant was ONLY for the ones under the first Covenant, those under the law. That would be Israel. Only Israel was under the law. Hebrews 8:10 For this is the *COVENANT* that I will make *WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL...* We were never under a Covenant at all. This is fantastic news for us. God's love, mercy and grace is much greater than we ever thought possible. I believe the Parable of the lost sheep is a picture of God's love for ALL people ever created. The house of Isreal represents the one lost sheep. They were the ONLY ONES that needed to be redeemed from the curse of being under the first Covenant law. Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save *THAT WHICH WAS LOST.* Apparently not ALL were lost, right? *That's why Jesus said He was ONLY sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.* Amos 3:1-2 *1People of ISRAEL,* I rescued you from Egypt. Now listen to my judgment against you. 2 Of all NATIONS on earth, *you are the ONLY ONE I HAVE CHOSEN. THAT'S WHY I will punish YOU because of YOUR sins.* God agreed to impute Israel's sin to THEM under that Old Covenant. Then He Himself paid the debt THEY incurred under that Covenant. Romans 5:13 For until the law sin was in the world: *BUT SIN IS NOT IMPUTED WHEN THERE IS NO LAW.* Romans 4:8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord *WILL NOT IMPUTE SIN.* *We are blessed because we are not under the law and our sin is not imputed to us!* Never has been and never will be! Praise the Lord! *I truly believe that God's love, mercy and grace is much bigger than we ever thought possible!* *Nobody's sin today is being imputed to them!* That is amazing news. Praise the Lord! @@SalvationByGrace I don't think so, the bible says all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23) and we know the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23) and Jesus says in John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the father, but by me." So we know that all have sinned, and that the wages of sin is death, and Jesus Christ is the only one that can cleanse us of our sins and since most of the world rejects him, I don't think most of the world is saved as you seemed to have eluded to.

Excellent teaching! When I was a young believer, this is what I bought into. It wasn’t enough that my own father’s love and acceptance was conditional. Now my heavenly Father’s was too. Several years after I was born again, I prayed for strength over a particular sin that I was struggling with during a challenging time. When I failed miserably, I told God, “I give up. I’ll never be able to please You.” For about a year, I avoided church, only attending intermittently. I was hurting so badly, but didn’t know how to get through the pain. But God...oh, how I love those two words together...led me to a doctrinally sound church that preached eternal security. Rather than embracing a lazy antinomian attitude after discovering this freedom in Christ, I was, instead, alive and whole, desiring to please God from a pure and grateful heart! Not out of a sense of duty. My Christian walk became more and more stable and healthy as I grew in the Lord. This heretical doctrine of Lordship Salvation is exactly what Paul warned the Galatians about. It’s a dangerous doctrine for both believers and those who only believe they’re believers.

@truepeace3 Hi there! One of the main things that causes so much division in Christianity today is, not recognizing that the warnings in the bible were to those under the law, so they could be saved from the soon to come fiery judgement against unbelieving Jews, Jerusalem, and the temple with animal sacrifice that came in 70AD, that brought the Old Covenant age to an end. It was the *time of the end* NOT *the end of time!* HUGE DIFFERENCE! The reason they had to persevere to the end of the age, was for the obvious practical purpose of avoiding the 70AD judgement. If they remained under the law or went back under the law, they would face the judgement in 70AD. They needed to be watching for His coming in 70AD. The sign was when Jerusalem was surrounded by enemy forces and when they saw that sign, they were to flee to the mountains. And if they were not sober they would likely miss it and be destroyed! A Jewish historian recorded that no believers died in the 70AD destruction. They all fled to the mountains outside of Jerusalem. This explains much of why there is so much division between Free Gracers and Lordshipers. It was the law that caused wrath and that's why the law came to an end in 70AD. Romans 4:15 *Because the law worketh wrath:* for where no law is, there is no transgression. If you view all the warning verses in light of the judgement that came in 70AD, they all make sense and most disagreements regarding them would disappear. Matthew 16:28 Verily I say unto you, *There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.* Matthew 24:34 Verily I say unto you, *This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.* Luke 21:36 “But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are *ABOUT TO TAKE PLACE...* Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants *things which must shortly come to pass;* and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Revelation 1:7 Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, *even those who pierced Him...* Revelation 22:10 And he said to me, *"Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near.* Luke 21:20-24 20And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 21Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. *22For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.*

@@SalvationByGrace Jesus was sent to the lost sheep of Israel, this is true. Jesus was born under the Law, so everything he did was under the Law. The old testament prophets all prophesied of the coming of their messiah, which means the Christ. Jesus forefield all 613 laws concerning the Jews. It's true we were never as Gentiles ever under the mosaic Law. Jesus came to the Jews first to set up their kingdom on earth as prophesied by the prophets. Daniel 490 years for Israel to finish their business. When Christ was crucified, only 483 years was pasted on God's prophetic stop watch. When they denied Christ as their Messiah, the clock stop at crucifixion. Israel as a nation was temporary put on hold. Jews also told the Jews, he had other sheep they knew not of . God look down the time line of humanity and already knew he was going to accomplish. When they Stoned Stephen in The book of Acts, that was their last straw for their earthly kingdom to be set up. Salvation was always suppose to the gentiles through The Jewish nation. Whey they finally rejected him, they crucified him. Keep in mind the book of Acts is a transitional book. From the time of Stephen being stoned to the calling of Saul who became the apostle Paul to where we are today. We are not under any OT LAWS. The apostle Paul is the apostle chosing and taught by Jesus himself. Paul was Not taught the Gospel of Grace for today by any man. Jesus revealed himself to Paul various times teaching him the Gospel of grace. All of OT was a for shadow for the Messiah to come and for all the Sins of the world, not just Jews Whosoever Calls upon the name of the Lord shall be Saved ( Ephesians 2:8,9 ) We are Saved by grace through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast. Also, ( 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 ). Is THE Gospel today . All God requires us to do today under the dispensation of Grace is to believe - Trust in Jesus Christ for their Sin debt to be paid by him I believe: Jesus died for my Sins . That is the only requirement for once & for All Salvation and receive the free gift of eternal or everlasting life through what he done on the cross. Jesus promised eternal life only to those who believe he did it for them. Make it personal. Hope this helps. The other remaining 7 years of Daniel's prophecy will be carried out in the 7 year tribulation period. Them , new heaven and new earth after of the the judgement is over. There will come down from heaven a new heaven and new earth. Can re as d that in revelation. Thanks , God bless.🙏🙏🙏

@@SalvationByGrace It's not just the Jews who need the gospel and Jesus to die for their sins. That's silly and wrong. "For God so loved THE WORLD He gave His only begotten Son so that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." "and not for our sins only, but for the sins of the whole world..." 1 John 2 According to your logic, the gentiles have no sin imputed to them because there was no law to convict them. You're saying Christ only came for Israel, but that's not what these verses are saying. Christ said "I have other sheep that are not of this fold and I will bring them in and there will be one flock and one shepherd." This means gentile believers. But this is also wrong. You have to read the whole new testament. You have Philippian Jailer (not a jew) who is about to kill himself and asks how he can be saved. According to your doctrine, Paul should say "you're already going to heaven you don't need to do anything because you're not under the law so you're sinless in God's sight." But that's not what he said. He said "believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, you and your house." Acts 16:30-31 Paul said, "we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but NOW commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will JUDGE THE WORLD in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead." Acts 17 The law is written on all men's hearts. This is our consience that bears witness to us. "For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified; for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them) in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel." Romans 2 All are guilty, all have sinned (except young children and retarded, I believe God applies the blood of Jesus to them and they are not accountable because they didn't have sufficient knowledge of what they were doing). Every nation of people who knew that it was wrong to lie, steal, murder, cheat on their wives, gossip-will face God in the judgment if they do not have faith in God. Many in the bible didn't have knowledge of the gospel but had faith in God which He counted to them as righteousness. I don't know what God's criteria is for those who don't know Jesus but sought God earnestly and trusted Him to whatever extent He revealed Himself to them, but in those cases I've heard about, Jesus revealed himself and told them He was God any way in some dream or vision. We know this: God is just and will judge rightly, knowing man's heart perfectly. Since the vast majority of people are heading to hell because they have violated their conscience, it is necessary that we take the gospel out into the world to as many as God has for us each.

The Bible teaches that those that are truly saved and believe, will obey: "A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit" (Matthew 7: 18). Please reread Matthew 7: those that claim to have done those works did not "do the will of my Father" and were "workers of lawlessness." That is why if you claim to believe that Jesus is Lord, but have no pattern of obedience, you have every reason to question whether your belief in Christ is genuine. Now that doesn't mean that a believer will live a perfect life, but there will be a pattern of increasing obedience (sanctification). I believe in Lordship salvation, and I would never say that I am trusting in my works to save me. My works have NOTHING to do with my salvation. They only testify that my faith is a genuine faith. Matthew 7 is not at all addressing those that believe in Lordship salvation, but rather those that do not believe in it. The passage is clearly stating that if you claim to believe in Christ but have no pattern of obedience that testifies to your belief, you have no relationship with Christ. Dr. Hank Lindstrom's teaching ultimately leads to antinomianism. He implies that one can claim to believe in Christ, be saved, but never repent, never obey, and live however they want. The book of James says: "What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good[a] is that? 17 So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead" (James 2: 14-17). Is James teaching works based salvation? No. He is teaching that if you claim to have faith, it will be demonstrated by works, just as "By faith Abraham obeyed" (Hebrews 11: 8).

Abraham believed into the Lord (had trust into the promise, thats what made gave him righteousness. You're a fool. James 2: Is for another Dispensation. First of all you know which faith without works is dead? The one In the OT since Jesus wasn't sacrificed yet. You know when this will occur again? @@mutulica10 @mutulica10 Abraham was justified by faith, and his works verified that his faith was genuine. His works did not save him but were the fruit of his faith. Nothing in the last two verses of Hebrews 11 disproves that argument. The book of James is a New Testament book, and it was written after Jesus was sacrificed. Therefore, faith without works is dead is a New Testament teaching as well as an Old Testament doctrine. Out of love for you, I hope you reconsider your language in calling me a "fool" and a "toddler". Jesus did warn that "whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire" (Matthew 5: 22). That type of language is precisely the byproduct of doctrine that denies Christ's Lordship.

What comes to free will, it is a very mysterious subject, because before you can decide to choose something, you have to be drawed towards that choice. As Jesus said a good tree does NOT bear bad fruit nor the opposite, so if your heart is good and clean, you cannot choose the wrong, evil thing, yet if your heart is wicked, you wont choose the right thing. @@nikokapanen82 I think one of the difficulties with the approach is that we need a way to see a doctrine so people won't be deceived. We need to see a doctrine through in the church so false converts don't skate by. It is a noble concern. It is a reasonable concern. But are we as willing to understand our role in the balance to each other in that? Are we able to operate out of the fruits of the spirit to bring a saved one to a sober mind that aids them in the sanctification process? Because shaming each other is good in some ways...but if that is the "go to," that is kind of sick. And not sober minded. And it is kind of like a doctrine looking for the fruit in others via our non-demonstration the fruit we seek in others. Something to think about. In Matt 7:23 it is interesting to note that the fruit looked for is the fruit praised by those who are the "many." In contrast Jesus "knows" those that did not even know it was fruit because they were operating out of how the spirit of God moved in them. Matt 25:37 & 38. So what is the contrast being given here? Is it, "you'd better know you have good fruit?" Or is it, "Those that are known by Him may not recognize their fruit." Is the answer to salvation before Him, "Lord I gave my all to receive your all." Or is it, "Lord you gave so much, how could I not do the same unto others?" Its seems to be the fruit of mercy Christ is looking at. Shame only goes so far. He who loves much is shamed much is not in scripture. But he who loves much is forgiven much. Also James 2:13: "For judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment." Not, enforcing fruit in others. Blessings.

It is not all that clear. Yet saying this, any true believer has a testimony to tell how his life has changed by the Holy Spirit after he came to know Jesus. If there was no change there is no faith.

But just because you don't believe it yet and have not received it yet, does not mean you won't after you die. Can you acknowledge that not all gifts are received the same way? Think about how the air you breath is a gift from God and the sun is a gift from God. After death is when all will receive the Son, as the Sun is received by all now. Hey, thanks for the comment, hope you are doing good. I just wanted to share some things I've been seeing in the word lately. This is amazing truth. Please let me know your thoughts about it... Matthew 15:24 But He answered and said, *"I was sent ONLY to the lost sheep of the house of Isreal."* It's all about ISRAEL... not us. The second Covenant was ONLY for the ones under the first Covenant, those under the law. Did you catch that? The second Covenant was ONLY for the ones under the first Covenant, those under the law. This next verse proves that only Israel was lost and needing to be saved. Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save *THAT WHICH WAS LOST.* Apparently not ALL were lost, right? *That's why Jesus said He was ONLY sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.* God agreed to impute Israel's sin to THEM under that Old Covenant. *I truly believe that God's love, mercy and grace is much bigger than we ever thought possible!* *Nobody's sin today is being imputed to them!* That is amazing news! Praise the Lord! What do you think? Let me know.

Yes they sure do. One of the main things that causes so much division in Christianity today is, not recognizing that the warnings in the bible were to those under the law, so they could avoid the soon to come fiery judgement against unbelieving Jews, Jerusalem, and the temple with animal sacrifice that came in 70AD, that brought the Old Covenant age to an end.

Marius Nel The scripture in James regarding faith without works is dead, not being being mixed with works is to born-again Christians, who are already saved. The context here is not about salvation but about how if we say we have faith and will not step out in that faith through action, we will not see our faith produce anything since we didn't step out to see it work...so faith is dead...being unable to produce the effect we as Christians are believing for. If someone is hungry we may have faith God will provide for that person but if we have means to help them and do not then our faith in God's provision does not help that man because we fail to help. That was one of James examples...he is NOT speaking of salvation which is freely given to all who believe...in regard to salvation Jesus mixed our faith, which came by hearing his living word and combined it with his already accomplished work of the cross. We need no work to be saved, simply believe. James is talking to Christians who already have been saved and is saying...step out in faith for what you're believing God for or your faith will not be seen it will in affect be dead.

branchingvine Exactly!..and we have no bondage in that message as some of the LS would love to have us all tied in. We should want to do those things because we love the Lord and are grateful for His shed blood and he gives us freedom not lock us up in some *Parole* Doctrine. James is explaining that good works with joy should follow the believer after not before salvation. I think it's a crime ..especially for a babe in Christ..they must be so confused when they hear this sort of teaching that has spread in most of the churches. I wish i could really see how Paul and James would have handled it. I know what they said but to see them rebuke this would be fantastic. But even more so Jesus Christ Himself. P.S. in closing i'm telling you to watch out for subtle cults that masquerade as this video up says because they are very clever in wording until you line it up with the Word Of God and use the Holy Spirit's discernment. Their doctrine brings no joy either and is crippling the body of Christ .Chaplin Bob is one here that will fight you tooth and nail about these things on the law. He claims we have to keep the law. Timothy Titus Daugett you are assuming Romans that - walking after the flesh means "how you live". it does not my friend. walking after the flesh means "keeping the law for salvation". point 1 - the carnal church was saved!!! and they were "walking after the flesh" according to your definition. 1 Cor 3:1-3 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, BUT AS UNTO CARNAL, even as unto babes IN CHRIST. 2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. 3 For ye ARE YET CARNAL: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, ARE YE YET CARNAL AND WALK AS MEN? YUP - these "babes IN CHRIST were carnal and "walking as men". point 2 - the church at galatia were saved but "false brethren" crept in preaching "another gospel"--adding the law to the gospel. We read in chapter 3. Gal 3:1-3 - O FOOLISHGalatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? 2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? 3 Are ye so FOOLISH? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect BY THE FLESH? These saved brethren were believing a perverted gospel because someone came in preaching the law for salvation. Paul called them foolish for trying to perfect themselves "in the flesh". OR by "walking after the flesh". OVERALL - friend, RUN from whomever is teaching you. They are false brethren who are preaching "another gospel". you MUST be perfect to go to heaven all are sinners all must go to hell to pay for their sins This is why Jesus came to die--to pay for your sins. Believe (trust) that Jesus died for ALL your sins and rose again. As a result, you will have "no sins" left to send you to hell. Jesus is the ONLY way. Behold, the Lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world. ONLY the Lamb takes away sin. with respect,

A staunch Lordship Salvationist once told me: "God has given us a NEW MIND so a Christian should not sin or ever backslide or they are not Saved to begin with". Yes, God promises us a new mind; but not a new flesh! The Apostle Paul states in Romans 7:24,25... "O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin." Proponents of Lordship Salvation are woefully blinded to the fact that every believer still has to contend with the carnal flesh. Oftentimes, as seen repeatedly from Genesis to Revelation, God's children falter. Does not Proverb 24:16 declare... "For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief"? Christians do falter in their faith at times. At best the Christian life is a rollercoaster.

This video represents a complete misunderstanding of what Lordship salvation is. "By faith Abraham obeyed" (Hebrews 11: 8). Saving faith leads to obedience, which is the fruit of salvation. Sadly, Matthew 7 is not at all addressing those that believe in Lordship salvation, but rather those that do not believe in it.

Hebrews 8:10 For this is the *COVENANT* that I will make *WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL...* We were never under a Covenant at all. This is fantastic news for us. There is much misunderstanding on this issue. I don't want to throw stones at anyone here because I believe you all love the Lord and if you do, then we are all brothers in Christ. Please consider this: Jesus is Lord. You can't "make" Him Lord. He is Lord whether you or I like it or not. We must believe that. And we must submit to His Lordship. No one here is suggesting that we will now live a perfect life, but there is a practical difference between believers and non-believers. Jesus didn't come to save you from hell, He came to save you from sin. He "bought" you with His blood on Calvary's cross. Biblical repentance is NOT a human work anymore than faith is. They are gifts from God. Faith (Eph. 2:8) - GIFT Repentance (Rom.2:4, 2 Corin. 7:10, 2 Tim. 2:25) - GIFT Salvation is 100% of the Lord. In your lost condition, you can not "repent". You are in bondage to sin. It is your master. But, when you are born again, this changes, it is not really a changed life, it is an exchanged life! Just because I still "blow it" and sin sometimes doesn't mean Jesus is not my Lord. No one is suggesting sinless perfection on this side of heaven. The point that John MacArthur (and many others) are making is this: Jesus didn't die on the cross so that you could one day "make a profession of faith" and then live any way you want to with an assurance that you will go to heaven when you die. That is a FALSE gospel. You won't find it in your Bible. And there are many other false gospels today. In order to be saved, you MUST agree with God that your righteousness is as filthy rags. You are a guilty, helpless sinner. You are bound for hell and there is NOTHING you can do about it except throw yourself at the feet of Jesus and beg for mercy. If you do this, and you are sincere, God will save you! (Rom. 10:9). Heaven is not the true prize of the Christian faith. Jesus is. Please read John 15 slowly and prayerfully. It's all about abiding in Christ. And consider this, sanctification is NOT a human work. "For it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure". God IS working in the life of true believers. And remember, Gal. 5:22 refers to the "fruit of the Spirit". It's NOT a human work but it most certainly is present in the life of a believer. It's not the fruit of the Christian, it's the fruit of the Spirit - displayed in the life of the believer. Just read these scriptures and pray to the Lord. No need to argue. I'm only trying to help anyone who wants read the Bible and seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit. God bless.

The Gospel was Preached to ALL that needed to hear it before 70AD. That generation needed to hear it because of the impending judgement that was about to take place in 70AD. You've probably heard that the gospel will be proclaimed to the world and then the end shall come, right? It wasn't talking about an end of the earth but rather the end of the Old Covenant world. It all happened in the first century and came to an end in 70AD. The gospel was preached in ALL the world and the end of the Old Covenant world did come in 70AD... Read 100% proof below... Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached *IN ALL THE WORLD* for a witness unto all nations; *AND THEN SHALL THE END COME.* Romans 10:18 But I ask, did they not hear? INDEED THEY DID: *"Their voice has gone out into ALL THE EARTH, their words TO THE ENDS OF THE WORLD."* Colossians 1:23 If indeed you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope of the gospel you heard, which *HAS BEEN PROCLAIMED IN ALL CREATION UNDER HEAVEN...* Colossians 1:23 KJV If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and *which was preached to every creature which is under heaven;* whereof I Paul am made a minister; The mission was fully accomplished, the gospel did go out to the old covenant world and everyone that needed to hear it did and then the end came in their generation in 70AD. That's when God destroyed the temple with animal sacrifice, Jerusalem and all that wouldn't let go of the law. I believe that was the final judgement and only judgement referred to in the New Testament.

Thanks for that, Andrew. I always thought "Lordship salvation" was knowing who Jesus is. Every knee will confess that he is Lord one day. Christians confess that now. I don't understand the controversy at all! Jesus *is* Lord, so how is it wrong to say you must know this to be saved? "For I know whom I have believed..." I brought this up at my Bible study last night, and it turned into everyone having passionate ... yelling explanations. I'm still dumfounded and looking for explanations to their claims of "heresy." Paul said... The second Covenant was ONLY for the ones under the first Covenant, those under the law. Did you catch that? The second Covenant was ONLY for the ones under the first Covenant, those under the law. *I truly believe that God's love, mercy and grace is much bigger than we ever thought possible!* *Nobody's sin today is being imputed to them!* That is amazing news! Praise the Lord! What do you think? Let me know.

Did you delete your reply to me? It's in my notifications but not here, so I can read the rest. It was actually their visiting pastor who got most upset and even called it heresy (which is a strong word I refrain from using!). I only brought it up because my own pastor had such a beautiful sermon on how Jesus being our Lord is what separates our belief from the demons who believe. It was such good sense and lovely -- I thought he'd agree and expand on it. Wrong! haha

You used the very verse which proves the requirement of Lordship. Calling Christ “Lord” is meaningless if we do not obey His commands (John 14:15, 21-24). The word used in Matthew 7:23 for iniquity (ἀνομίαν, anomian) clearly means lawlessness. Cross reference it to Matthew 13:41; 24:12; Romans 6:19; Hebrews 1:9; 1 John 3:4 (reading the entire chapter). In every instance Scripture is lamenting lawlessness. Lordship theology does not teach synergism; it simply teaches that our Love for what Christ has done will change our heart (Ezekiel 36:26). This is all a result of grace. Grace saves us not only from the result of sin, but the bondage of sin as well.

Ed Kisselback *Here are some true tests of faith and serious questions you should ask yourself, that can prove wether or not you have likely believed the gospel or not!* *Are you truly resting in the finished work of Christ?* *Do you truly believe Jesus took away the sins of the world?* *Do you truly believe Jesus took away and purged your sins?* Or do you have a conscience of sins? *Have you ceased from working for your salvation?* Or do you go about trying to establish your own righteousness? *Do you believe Jesus when He said it is finished?* Or do you doubt Jesus and think you must do something? *Do you have full assurance of your salvation?* *Do you have full assurance of your salvation... especially when you do sin?* The answer to these questions can be very revealing and should serve as a wake-up call for many professing Christians! *It's a total lie and very deceptive to think that a changed life is evidence of salvation!* *Unbelievers have a changed life all the time, so that proves absolutely nothing!* Sin is bad, it's always bad and there's many bad consequences in this life for sin. But sinning does actually prove we qualify to be saved by Jesus because He didn't come for the righteous but for sinners only. *A true barometer that you are saved is that you are truly resting in the finished work of Christ and know you are saved and don't doubt it, especially when you do sin!* Believing is more than simply believing the facts of the gospel, it's also believing what Jesus actually accomplished by and through the gospel! Most that claim to be Christian *(like you)* believe the facts of the gospel, as far as the death, burial and resurrection but they don't believe what Jesus accomplished! They don't believe He actually took away the sins of the world, as John the Baptist said He would! *They do not believe He took away their sins and they do not rest in His finished work!* John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, *Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.* *Other barometers that you are likely saved that come along with resting in what Christ did are, ceasing from working for your salvation, having full assurance of your salvation, not having a conscience of sins and not going about trying to establish your own righteousness!* Most professing Christians *(like you)* have a false peace that they get from doing works and turning from sin but that cannot save and is very deceptive. But that false peace is usually short lived, at least if they are honest with themselves and are not deceiving themselves. *Ceasing our works and resting in Jesus' finished work go hand in hand!* Hebrews 4:9-11 *9There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.* 10For *he that is entered into his rest,* he also hath *ceased from his own works,* as God did from his. 11Let us labour therefore to *enter into that rest,* lest any man fall after the same example of *unbelief.* *Believers should not have a conscience of sins, if they believe their sins have been dealt with and purged!* Hebrews 10 2For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers *ONCE PURGED should have had no more conscience of sins.* *The blood of bulls and goats could not purge sin! But Jesus did purge our sins!* Hebrews 1:3b ...Then *he had by himself purged our sins,* sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. *If you believe Jesus purged your sin then you should have no more conscience of sins!* *Believers do not go about trying to establish their own righteousness!* Romans 10:3 For they *being ignorant of God's righteousness,* and *going about to establish their own righteousness, HAVE NOT submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.* *Believers have FULL assurance of their salvation!* Hebrews 10:22a let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and *with the FULL ASSURANCE that faith brings,* having our hearts sprinkled *to cleanse us from a guilty conscience...* *These are true barometers that can show if you are likely saved or not!* *So test yourself and make sure you are even in the faith! That would be, faith that's really in Him and not in yourself!*

Don't let this messenger deceive you either. Go to Matt 25 where the sheep and goats are separated. What is the criteria for separation into either the kingdom or the lake of fire? Works! We are saved at conversion by faith only, but we are sanctified thereafter by faith and good works. Final salvation at the judgment will be determined by both faith and works.

This video represents a complete misunderstanding of what Lordship salvation is. "By faith Abraham obeyed" (Hebrews 11: 8). Saving faith leads to obedience, which is the fruit of salvation. Sadly, Matthew 7 is not at all addressing those that believe in Lordship salvation, but rather those that do not believe in it.

Matthew 15:24 But He answered and said, *"I was sent ONLY to the lost sheep of the house of Isreal."* Acts 5:31 He is the one whom God exalted to His right hand as a Prince and a Savior, *TO GRANT REPENTANCE to ISRAEL, and FORGIVENESS of SINS.* It's all about ISRAEL... not us. 1Jn2:3-5 Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him…it is all a work of grace, but our obedience is evidence that we are a new creation. Not everyone has the Spirit of Christ in him, so we should examine ourselves to see if we be in the faith. I know many who have a “said faith” and busy themselves with various ministries, but are thorn bushes for decades…these will be the ones saying “Lord Lord…didn’t we do this and that…” true believers have come to the end of themselves and boast of nothing but the cross by which they have been crucified to the world and the world crucified to them…only possible by the death, and resurrection of Christ and His indwelling Holy Spirit…it’s a narrow gate and difficult way a few there be that find it.

Jesus died to enable us to be forgiven when we sin, continuously throughout life, only if we are truly repentant and ask him to forgive us. If that wasn't the case, then for what reason would we need a mediator? 1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; This easy believing doctrine tricks people into thinking that they are saved, when in fact they may not be. 1 John 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. Satan has deceived easy believers into believing that keeping the commandments of Jesus are good works of the law. They are not. If they were, then why would Jesus tell us that we must do good works to show our love for him? John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. Galatians 5:19-21 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. In those verses, Paul is explicitly telling the believers that they can indeed be locked out of heaven. And we know that they are believers, (or same thing as saved), because they are the very same people that he is talking to in: Galatians 3:26-27 26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Eternal security proponents like to point to: John 10:28 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. But that does not say that man with free will cannot, or will not, leave the hand by his own doing.

That passage has nothing to do with Lordship salvation. They are false disciples without the Holy Spirit. They were workers of iniquity. They never repented of sin and were never born again. That's why Jesus said he didn't know them. Furthermore, Lordship salvation has nothing to do with works and everything to do with Loving God.

Exactly. You read that verse about “lord lord have we not…” repented? No you haven’t. You DID a bunch of stuff but didn’t repent. Yall the Bible app is free. Type in the word repent and see how often Jesus Christ Himself mentioned it. Does repenting mean you’ll never fall again and have to repent again? No, of course not. But to come to terms with your sins and no need of repentance because of Grace being your “license to sin”…? Oh HELL no!

The question is what salvation can be lost?

+Nigel Dalgleish Great comment! Roman Catholicism is the mother of all whores - Revelation 17:5. Calvinism spawned from Roman Catholicism as John Calvin's false doctrine was very heavily influenced by Augustine who is one of the main founding fathers of Roman Catholicism. Then we have Lordship Salvation which spawned from Calvinism as all the major Lordship Salvationists are also devout Calvinists. One whore breeds another whore.

wtom04 Respectfully, I fail to see there the 5 points of Calvinism necessitate Lordship salvation and why you would consider them to be false doctrine. I would sincerely be interested in your explanation, as I am interested in people's thoughtful and Scripture based points of view on this topic, on either side of the argument. Thanks and God bless.

You should stop confusing people and preach and learn the gospel, as told by Jesus and the apostles !! If not, you risk preaching a false gospel !! Repenting is not a works, no more then confessing ones sins or turning away from sins, turning to God, believing .... and so on !! They are not work's! They are acts of the will. Necessary conditions for believers !! …9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. What is Believing ? Acts 16:31 They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and your household." What is forgiving? Mat 6; 14 For if you forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive yours. What is turning away from ones sins ?? Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,............Acts 3;19

+bob78145 Your comment - "REv 2;20 But I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. The following Biblical examples debunk your errant belief: Samson is a true man of God and at the same time a FORNICATOR - Judges 16:1, then in Judges 16:28-30, Samson commits a simultaneous MURDER/SUICIDE with God's help. Yet Samson is listed as a Godly man of faith in Hebrews 11:32. Samson would not be listed there if he was unsaved. People in the Old Testament were saved the exact same way as people in New Testament times, otherwise the apostle Paul would not have quoted Genesis 15:6 in Romans 4:2-5 in support of the gospel. King Solomon is a true man of God, but became a serial polygamist and demon worshiper at the end of his life - 1 Kings 11:1-13. Solomon even built 2 altars to the 2 demon gods, Chemosh and Molech in 1 Kings 11:7. Molech was a demon god that required child sacrifices - a Satanic practice. (The practice of sacrificing one's sons/daughters in the fire - Leviticus 18:21, 2 Kings 23:10) This was King Solomon. Solomon persisted in his sins despite God warning him TWICE - 1 Kings 9:2 - 6, 1 Kings 11:9-11. Because of Solomon's defiance, God declared to Solomon that He would tear away a major portion of his kingdom, but do it in his son's generation because of God's covenant with Solomon's father, King David. God then brought 3 adversaries against Solomon - 1 Kings 11:14, 23, 26. Then we read that Solomon tried to commit MURDER in 1 Kings 11:40. Nowhere in Scripture does it ever say that Solomon "lost his salvation" or "never had it to begin with." The Corinthian Christians of the apostle Paul's time were saved, but were living deplorably in sin and immorality, but Paul affirmed the fact that they were saved in 1 Corinthians 3:1 as he addressed them as "brethren" that were "carnal" "babes in Christ". Paul would not have addressed them in that way if they were not saved. The lives they were living were deplorable: 1 Corinthians 3:3 - there was envying, strife, and divisions among the Christians. 1 Corinthians 5:1-5 - a Christian man was having sex with his stepmother and consequently Paul pronounced judgment on this man in 1 Corinthians 5:5 where Paul says, "hand this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord. In 2 Corinthians 2:5-8 we read that this man was chastened and that God had mercy on him and did not terminate his physical life. Paul instructs the church to forgive and comfort him so that he wont be overcome by excessive sorrow and to reaffirm their love and concern for him. 1 Corinthians 4:18 - there was arrogance among the Corinthian Christians. 1 Corinthians 6:7-8 - there were Christians taking other Christians to court and there was cheating among them. 1 Corinthians 7:2 - there was fornication among the Christians. 1 Corinthians 11:21 - there were Christians hogging and gorging themselves with food, and there was drunkenness at the Lord's Supper. Scripture is clear that there are indeed carnal Christians that are saved. It's not good or spiritually edifying that they are living in sin. God will punish them because they are His children, but they are still saved - Proverbs 15:10, Jeremiah 2:19, Hebrews 12:5-11. The book of 1 Corinthians confirms the reality of carnal Christians and Paul affirmed that they are eternally saved by addressing them as "sanctified in Christ Jesus" and "saints" in 1 Cor 1:2. Paul addresses them as "brethren" in 1 Cor 2:1, as "brethren" and "carnal' "babes in Christ" in 1 Cor 3:1, as "brethren" in 1 Cor 4:6, as "brethren" in 1 Cor 10:1, as "brethren" in 1 Cor 11:2, as "brethren" in 1 Cor 12:1, as "brethren" in 1 Cor 14:20, as "brethren" in 1 Cor 15:1, as "brethren" in 1 Cor 15:58. (KJV) The above list in 1 Corinthians where Paul repeatedly addressed the Corinthian Christians as "brethren" is overwhelming evidence that these are saved people possessing eternal life. Paul would not have addressed them as "brethren" if they were not saved. Self-righteous Calvinists/Lordship Salvationists would of course deliberately deny the existence of carnal Christians and would deliberately write off carnal Christians as "unsaved" despite overwhelming evidence from Scripture.

I love that verse Troy. It's wording is so funky! I have memorized it and it is so true. It truly describes the relationship between works and grace so well. I also love Romans 4:5 as well because in its brevity, it utterly destroys all notions of work being required for salvation: "But to him who works not but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness,"

This man said that repentance is changing your mind! (Somewhere else). I'm ok with that but guess what, if your life didn't change, as in willfull sin, you haven't really changed your mind then. I'm amused when people think they can outsmarten God. Please read your bible carefully people and if you don't want to make Jesus Christ the Lord of your life, please don't call him Lord then 4 you are being simply ridiculous, and don't deserve the honour to even call yourselfs christians. Disobedience is falsehood and liars will be condemned.

Salvation By Grace It is a rest indeed, but your love for him, and your true faith show works. You can't say to your 3 year old son that you love him but never take him to the playground. Never play with him, or cook him his fave dinners. In the end he will not believe you when you say that you love him. And even if the bible sais to "believe and be saved. It also sais that withought hollines u won't enter. Withough being born again u won't either. So that's why Bible must be taken in context. If u become born again that means u have believed, and the works of your true conversion will be hollines and righteousness. We can't pick and choose bible verses according to our weaknesses. Is hard at times and that's when grace comes in, but in the end if we ask him to help us. He will. Nothing to do with legalism, just simple common sense.

That's why we must have His righteousness imputed to our account! We are credited with His righteousness because we are not righteous!* Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that *justifieth the ungodly,* his faith is *counted for righteousness.* Romans 10:3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and *going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.* *Grace and works do not mix because they are opposite of each other. If you're trying to work for it, that proves you are rejecting grace. This video represents a complete misunderstanding of what Lordship salvation is. "By faith Abraham obeyed" (Hebrews 11: 8). Saving faith leads to obedience, which is the fruit of salvation.
