I know more Bible than you suspect, I need, and trust it above anything else in this world, and daily lean on it. To blab out that I'm Biblically illiterate for the sake of one upping in debate is considerably insulting. Who is not a wicked man? "None are righteous, no not one..." I feel If the Lord didn't want us voting for wicked men there wouldn't be democratic societies. The customs of our society is voting for the ones that serve us in this supposed representative democracy. Good citizenry (Romans 13) is maintaining society and obeying its laws, voting is maintenance and akin to stewardship. Do we not fix a leaky roof because our true home is in Heaven? I'm fearful of Bible believers totally opting out, my faith is thin in that regard, and believe me, I petition the Lord often over matters where it's thin. I don't worship these people, seemingly none of them share our values or trust in the Word as we do. It's been so rough the past few years with this inflation, a lot caused by Trump printing off the money, true... but him just being in office was better for commerce and offset a lot with the cheap plentiful fuel. I'm exceedingly thankful for the Lord's provisions, blessings and mercies the past few, but I'm not persuaded voting is sin. It just feels like a bit of or vexing toil and misery can be avoided with a bit of sinless pragmatism. Do you get my point? The world's gonna be the world, we're gonna have wicked leaders regardless, do what we can, it maybe vanity but it's part of the cross we bear.
