Benny Hinn destroyed my life for many years. I went to a crusade as a college student and went down when Benny called young people to the altar. He waved his jacket and everyone around me fell but I stayed standing. I stumbled a bit bc people fell on me but I felt a loneliness that I've never had since. Benny Hinn looked at me and said, "Take it, take it". I was scared so I just raised my hands like I was being ministered to. I eventually made my way back to my seat and felt like a failure. I felt like God touched everyone but me and I did something wrong. The worst part was I went home to a church that idolized Benny Hinn and mirrored his ministry. Every week, our prayer nights on Thursday had Benny Hinn's CD playing in the background to the point where if someone played it today, I'd be seriously triggered. I read all of Benny Hinn's books and was praised by my pastors for doing so but it shaped my faith journey into 25 yrs of false teaching full of lies, extreme guilt, and shame. In the past 2yrs, I've stumbled upon Mike Winger and Melissa Dougherty and I'm reading a book by Costi Hinn about the Holy Spirit. My eyes are being opened WIDE and as liberating as it has been, I'm finding myself extremely depressed feeling like I've wasted half my life believing lies and following a cult instead of actually following Christ. I honestly feel exhausted trying to reconstruct my faith and I find myself saying, "What IS the truth?"

My sister had gotten HEALED at a Benny Hinn crusade in Cleveland, OH., by the power of God. I believe it was in the 90's. She never went on stage. It was at the end of service and Benny Hinn asked everyone to lift their hands for the closing prayer, and as she did so, her stomach which had been hurting her all through the service, stopped hurting her!!! As she raised her hands to the LORD in obedience, the HOLY SPIRIT met her at the apex of her need and HEALED her stomach!! She has never had that same pain again!!! Praise Jesus!👏🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽 But, she was never touched by Benny Hinn or anyone! The HOLY SPIRIT IS REAL AND STILL HEALS!!🙏🏽

He has embraced the true gospel and has become a faithful servant and reformed theology preacher. Several years ago, in 2001, my husband and I were going through some super hard trials. We had 3 channels on our TV. I had Benny Hinn on. I called the show asking for prayer for my husband. I have a 41 yr old non verbal disabled daughter. Her dad and I took her to a Benny Hinn crusade at Lester Sumrall in South Bend In. She started making noises,( it was a packed house) and he immediately told his people to “remove that child”. They proceeded to remove us out of the sanctuary and put us in a room ( I was so devastated I couldn’t tell you anything said to us), but I remember several people coming in and stating how appalled they were that happened. I don’t remember leaving, the drive home. Her dad unfortunately stopped going to church and serving the Lord. Besides Jesus she is the most precious gift I’ve been given, she’s not healed in the physical realm but she is whole spiritually! Ty so much for bringing this truth about his “ false ministry “ to light! I can say it was a long hard road, BUT HE is faithful!!! And used this long journey to bring me closer to Him! And she loves Jesus too!!

I saw Benny Hinn once with my Christian club from school (99ish) and even though I wasn’t a strong Christian then I didn’t like the service. I just felt uneasy. He called all the young people out and prayed for the holly spirit and everyone just fell. I did too but because a guy fell on me. It was like a domino effect. I sat up and just prayed for God to cover me from any evil in that place.

I was healed of an ongoing horrible debilitating pain in my lower abdomen by simply praying to Jesus. It was instant. Another time, i was at church, and the pastor said, God is healing shoulder pain right now. I nudged my husband and said, that word is for you. Take it! He shook his head, too shy to raise his hand. I said, well i'll take it then! My shoulder had been in pain for months. I couldnt reach behind my back at all. That afternoon i went for my walk, and remembered the service. I went to a Benny hinn crusade when I was 19 for the first time. I didn’t know if the “touch” falling was real or not. As God is my witness I will speak 100% truth with what I share. So I went, now by nature I am skeptical and don’t believe everything I see or hear. I had watched many of his KZbin clips and was convinced he shouts touch when people’s eyes are closed and they fall because they are caught off guard or kinda like a quick shock of surprise. However when I went to the Hershey Pa crusade he said if you want to experience the Holy Spirit close your eyes and lift your hands. I waited and was expecting the shout TOUCH. Instead he said softly “Touch” and I feel out along with my friend who came with me & I started laughing saying it’s real it’s real. Another time I went to see him in Baltimore. It was a fire conference and I was amazed at his message because it was on Lev 14 and was filled with revelation on Jesus and the blood. So he at the end starts to lay hands on each person individually. He slaps my forehead I fall they pick me up and as I am walking I thinking, man nothing happened. As God is my witness right when I get to the corner to make a left Benny Says “God just told me he is now sending the fire” I thought I don’t feel anything. 45 seconds later I was shocked as I started feeling a supernatural heat come all over my body. I went back to my seat stunned. I was thinking how did he know and it really happened. It was after that crusade however that I had dreams of his crowds getting smaller and smaller and I remember telling my friend “His ministry is going down” he asked why. I said his biggest mistake was getting involved with the prosperity gospel. It was not for him and wasn’t necessary. Once he brought in “prophets” everything changed. Aside from that however I am a Pastor and I want you to hear this well. A woman who went to my church in her 60’s had some health issues that I knew about. When Benny came to fort Washington Maryland some years ago he came off the stage and walked up to her and said each issue in her body, I was stunned because in all the years I saw him I never saw him leave the stage to do that let alone call out the issue of someone I knew to be facts. She got healed that day. Her name is Janet Valentine. You all may hate and dislike him but God did truly use him and there were real miracles that happened in his ministry. Doesn’t mean everything he did was right. Lastly I saw a woman who was blind in Hershey Pa get healed and me and others from my church watched as her eyes went from milky to color. There are experiences that cannot be erased. They are seared in my memory, so yes he made many mistakes but God has also used him and That’s my 2 cents. Blessings

God used Cyrus to build the temple. He can use evil men to promote God. He used Nebuchadnezzar to capture the Jews and disperse the Jews from their land all over the land. Like everyone at one point in time in our lives, Benny Hinn needs to repent and come clean before the Lord and before His people. I know he "apologised" a few weeks ago, but even in the midst of the apology, he was saying he would still make mistakes again....meaning we should be ready to forgive him. How is that an apology? How is that a repentance? It's not the beginning of this race that matters, it's how it ends. Ezekiel 18:21-24 (NLT): But if wicked people turn away from all their sins and begin to obey my decrees and do what is just and right, they will surely live and not die. 22 All their past sins will be forgotten, and they will live because of the righteous things they have done. 23 “Do you think that I like to see wicked people die? says the Sovereign Lord. Of course not! I want them to turn from their wicked ways and live. 24 However, if righteous people turn from their righteous behavior and start doing sinful things and act like other sinners, should they be allowed to live? No, of course not! All their righteous acts will be forgotten, and they will die for their sins. It is not about how far, its about how well and how faithful we are and were to the assignments committed into out hands.

I was healed of Low Thyroid Disease at at a Morris Cerrulo Crusade in Oakland in the 1970s.....I don't remember him taking up any offerings that night...I was a counselor and I prayed for a Spanish speaking lady who was healed, as well.. Wr both got blessed...I believe Jesus stilll heals today, it's just that people like Benny Hinn shouldn't be fleecing God's sheep😮........😮

I love Morris Cerrulo and Morris always took up offerings. There is nothing wrong with taking up offerings. Do you know how much it costs to put on a crusade? The hall, the guest speakers, hotel, food etc. all that take up thousands. Remember men like Morris didn't have free platforms like KZbin back in the day. Every radio station, magazine, news letter etc. costs a lot of money. Nothing is free. There is absolutely nothing wrong in taking up offerings.

My parents and I help a homeless woman in our neighborhood, she is a Christian, and one day I went to see her and she was in a state of deep prayer and worship, with tears streaming down her face, listening to something on her phone.... And what I overheard on her phone that she was listening to included words like, "sow a seed of $2000, $200," etc for the new year.. I never really asked her what she was listening to or if she did donate to the ministry but I was completely shocked

Years ago I went to a service in NJ and I honestly can say as soon as we entered the Parking Lot we felt the anointing and when we entered the arena it was stronger. It was one of the most anointed services I ever been in. He blessed me with his worship to God. I seen how the Spirit of God moved in people around the arena. Anyone who attended his services or watched him on tv can tell you the anointing on him was so strong that I was able to feel it sitting in my livingroom, From my own experience I have yet, not been able to have that same experience, again. Mike, I discovered your channel years ago when I was in my mid-20s and going through a massive faith crisis. You (among other Christian channels) really helped me sort out and understand a lot of things I was confused on. I had been raised on a strange mix of false teachings, but also true teachings and I had no idea how to separate what was real from what wasn't. Thank you so much for all you do. Costi, I don't really know much about you, but the way you talk about your uncle with both truth and compassion brings me comfort in a situation I have with a relative of mine. Different situation of course, as my relative is not a pastor, but he is saying and doing ungodly things in the name of Christ and refuses to look at how he has been hurting people for years. In my case it was my mother who raised me and my siblings in a superstitious false belief system that I can't call Christianity even if it included God and Jesus and misunderstood Scripture. It wasn't until my mid 20s when following TBN televangelists that God opened my eyes to start learning the truth and I watched discernment videos that exposed these TBN false teachers. Then I learned what real Christianity is. My mother is gone now and there was family that refused to attend her funeral because she was so unloving and cruel to them in life. False beliefs create bad fruit.

My mom was sickly and when Kathryn Kulman would come to LA, she would drive us three young children to hear her speak - with hopes of her healing. She never was healed in these meetings. I was @ a Kathryn Kulman healing service years ago when I was 15 years of age. I was healed completely of my red blood cells were eating my white blood cells. I had trouble breathing, all that went away. I could breathe normal again , went to Doctor & my red & white blood cells were back to normal. Jesus knew what he was doing. He knew if he healed your mother at Kathryn or Benny's crusade she would probably have gave them credit as many people idolized these people instead of Jesus. God doesn't share his glory with anyone. I felt into the trap of idolizing Benny Hinn without knowing it. My experiences with Benny Hinn are as follows. While I was in college, I suffered from TMJ. My jaw locked and/or clicked constantly. I went home one weekend and saw Benny Hinn on TV. I was not saved at the time. He said to place your hand on the screen and I'll pray for you. I did and prayed with him.I was healed! God worked through him. Later I became born again. I was in a few services of his and felt the presence of God strongly.

This isn’t the equivalent of a church selling things, and it’s important to get the message out. The message is important enough that it should be literally on things we own. There are plenty of platforms that casually offer merch and aren’t obsessed with money. I have tears in my eyes listening to this... I was part of an Evangelical, die-to-self, be in submission, holiness cult for 13 years in my young adulthood... this discussion has opened my eyes up to a whole new aspect of that cult I was unaware of... there are hundreds of us living with C-PTSD because of this cult's abuse and cruelty justified with God's Words and supported by the doctrines they focused on. When I woke up and realized that I had given the best years of my life in service as a missionary, not to God, but to my "Spiritual Head" my heart was absolutely crushed. I lost so much in service and those things can never be restored and I am reconciled to the fact that I will have C-PTSD for the rest of my life. My grief is profound... but the counter balance is that I did find my way out of that cult... and I have found my own soul. My gratitude to God is deep and profound... many have not found their way out and are absolutely shattered now.

@@AHymnForToday It realy is a case of non Spirit filled people judging the works of the Holy Spirit. To say Benny is manipulating people emotions is the same as saying everybody's stupid. I know for a fact when Benny goes to a country he makes sure that he has the blessing of all the leading Pastors in the area. Basically accountable to them. To say they are also being fooled by Benny is saying leading Pastors are stupid too. The truth is Benny's carries a heavy presence of God and when you go to His meetings it lifts your faith God for a miracle. Many testimonies of people being healed in a Benny Hinn meeting youtube it. But not only miracles people want to serve God more after experiencing God's presence in Benny Hinns meeting. The pitiful of becoming famous and in demand is you have to keep up with demand and if you dont you feel like you're letting everybody down. Some people cope with having large ministries better than others. Benny has made a mess of things on occasions having the wrong people working for him etc. But his not a fraud. He has never fabricated anything in his meetings. Costi is a kid that grew up in church. I would not take his judgement on any spiritual things. I have seen this with many kids that grow up in church they struggle with understanding many things in church and many become atheists becasue they think everything is fake. The only reason costi is not a atheists is becasue of Benny and his own father he just doesn't know it.

And to be clear, I've watched a few videos by Mike Winger about this and other topics, and He does address that there may be those who Have been healed and blessed by Bennie's ministry. What do you make of the claims in this video though? I'm of the view that there's no harm in watching something we disagree with, because character outlasts criticism. I've opened myself up to watch video's about MIke WInger that are opposed to his views to see what folk are saying about Him. Maybe you have watched the video in it's entirety already? But if you haven't I encourage you to do so, and if Mike is wrong, you can point out the particulars. I pray, neither of us are interested in point scoring or 'winning an argument' but rather are given discernment to know and discover what is true. Those who trust the Lord are one body in Christ, and we need each other, and with that in mind, (If you haven't already, watch the video in it's entirety) open yourself up to the arguments that are laid out here, consider them on their own merit with your investigating, and come to your conclusions, and refute them with your evidence or agree. But whether it's MIke Winger or Benny Hinn, let us test them against the scriptures. None of us is perfect, that's why we need to listen to each other.

we are people of sin.ive seen pastors fall, and God would remove them, all i know is for 7 years my body was racked with arthritis mainly in the hip, I'm a carpenter so it was really rough went to doctor after doctors, no help after crying out to God for some time one night a coworker and i was loading my truck for the next day and i had the impression to look at a shelf i went over the look and it was a piece of paper that had binny binn on it and a phone number that i did not put there, i went to a private place and called the number a women answered said this is binny hinn prayer line she prayed for me i went back to the garage all within 4 minute a warm feeling went from my toes to my head and i was totally healed. my coworker knew i was healed cause i took off running. something i couldn't do for years.that was 2004 still healed. thats all i know. Praise the Lord..

@@kindnessheals Diga is an example of how the wolf will enter into the flock undetected and then slowly and purposefully being to suck the blood of his victims. I've been to his events and it's packed full of biblical teaching and passionate delivery while coming off as mature.... ....untill it's time to start praying for people, then the circus begins and I can tell you first hand that there is ANOTHER spirit in operation at his events. The Holy Spirit is summoned but we know from biblical scripture that because the Holy Spirit is a gift, He will not be used as someone's prop or debit card, which is EXACTLY how Diga operates. He is crafty and sly and if nothing else, base mearly on his associations alone, he should be avoided and disregarded as qualified and credible.
