Magnus just likes to gamble with lower rated players to try out different things as he’s probably completely bored after so many years of complete domination. He’s still the best in the world regardless. He’s just pushed chess to the boundaries. And now he wants a little excitement.

I agree completely. Him going out of book and playing crazy moves is not to get these guys out of prep, it's to challenge himself and check how much he can get away with.

Yeah I feel he toys with the Indian prodigies by praising them and making it look like they can beat him. To me, it's LOL funny. But it does help garner excitement from India and it's good for the sport, hehe.

A fairly clear implication that Magnus slipped up against a guy almost as old as me. Not appreciated that he didn't, especially as I like to see Mr Carlsen beaten. As someone who hates clickbait but genuinely enjoys your titles and thumbnails, even coming to the defense of them when others have claimed “clickbait” in the past, I think this one is clickbait. I understand that you’re claiming “this title is in reference to the overall situation with Magnus right now, so I’m not lying to anyone”. While this is technically true, I think you’re being too general in your approach to what the title and thumbnail of a video are for. They are to tell us, the viewers, what THIS video is about. So if you’re questioning “Is Magnus on TILT??”, and then I see no moves within the video itself that would make me, the viewer, ask that question, I consider that clickbait. So this falls within that distinction, to me. I’m definitely game for you to play around with sensational titles, as they will help your channel grow, but I will mention I don’t watch Gotham anymore despite seriously enjoying his content because I think his titles are clickbait and I absolutely hate that. Hope this helps.

I think Magnus has lost motivation and interest. I say this is not the end but decision is his. If he finds motivation to reach even higher goals he will go there but if not, well maybe there are other more interesting things in life for him 😎
