On the eve of a great storm these two genius chess grandmaster geniuses faced off against one another. Born from sheer will and utter punctuality, these two forces of nature clashed in what is considered the greatest chess game of all time. Who considers this game the greatest? Steve does. And Larry. Also Cynthia and Carol. Maybe Tom, but he wouldn't give me a direct answer. He was kind of being cagey about the whole thing.

@@Davidbrownactor I'm glad, also, in all serious I really enjoyed the video. At the beginning, I didn't realize it was a meme and I was hyped about seeing this game bc they're my fav players. So, I initially muted the vid, but I randomly unmuted it and quickly started dying laughing with my friend. Top 10 funniest videos of all time. So fucking good.

This is insanely funny. I stumbled upon it accidentally but have since watched the other chess ones too. This one is easily the best because you act like you know what you're talking about the whole time. So good.

I'm on 2 GM norms and am Fide rated 2430 . Even though chess hasn't been played since this game, and never will be again, my next tournament could launch me into greatness after listening to David's superb commentary. It goes to show that we still have a lot to learn off the ol' timers.

I saw a checkerboard today and thought, “look a checkerboard.” I must have said it aloud or I was hearing voices because I heard something whisper, “or a chessboard or a chessboaarrddd oorrr as chhhheesssssbboooooaaaarrrrddd chhesssbboooaaarddd cchheesssbboooaaaaaarrrddddd…” it wouldn’t stop. Must have been hearing voices now that I think about it.. So I googled “chessboard” and this video was the first to pop up.. I think we should bring this game back, and clearly, you’re the leader we need. My main questions is if we can make our own noises when we kill the other person’s characters or do we stick to the grunt sounds? Aanndd I suddenly have raging urge to flangle somebody. It feels so primal. Is that normal?

1. E4 D5 is the Scandinavian or Center Counter opening. Also, bringing your queen out early isn't something that strong players are eager to do. 3 minutes in and so much doesn't make sense or goes directly against basic principles. Congrats for your efforts, but the analysis just isn't very good. Decent jokes, though!
