Thank you for your informative videos, you have chosen the right place… Subscribing to your channel.I am a Filipino national working in KSA…and I can say that for Muslims families looking for alternative location for them to put in their children in a modern muslim-friendly university, Malaysia is the place to be :) .. I have a daughter who competed her chemical engineering in USM Penang, one son still there taking up management and one is in University of Malaya in KL. When my children moved to Malaysia for their university after spending many years in Saudi Arabia, they adapted seamlessly. In USM Penang for example, they have very big Jami Masjid inside the campus, halal foods everywhere. Nowhere is perfect but Malaysia is cost-effective alternative financially, spiritually… Mubarak to this vlog….bro.deen

Digital nomad visa is an alternative to mm2h or smm2h. It is for 12 months, extend another 12 months. So total is 2 years. Ichang channel (japanese youtuber) is now on 2nd year digital nomad visa.

Thank you for another informative video! I have couple of questions. Since you are traveling with kids - what do you for kids education? Is it home schooling? Second, what is an average monthly cost of living for family of 4 while traveling - how do you budget your travel (airfare, hotel, entertainment, food)?
@sairathemusafir8 ай бұрын
I'm a teacher by profession, so I privately homeschool and teach them myself using US and Singapore edu standards. We also have a couple of online tutors for them, and traveling the world is such an education in itself alhamdulillah. iA I'll post a cost of living type video soon! Thank you!

Hi, i have a few quick questions: 1- on what type of visa you were staying in Malaysia? 2- did you live at a relative's house or where during your 90 days tourist visa? & Where would you recommend a tourist to stay (safe and economical) during tourism to test the waters before finalizing to settle in to Malaysia? 3- how much it costed you for 90 days tourist visa? Including travel, staying, food etc from A to Z. A rough figure please if you will.

Hello. I'm surprised to learn that even remote workers can get the digital nomad visa. Is this a new update? All the other sources say that it is only for people who work in the IT field. Will it be more difficult to get accepted if you are a remote worker that is not in IT?
@sairathemusafir6 ай бұрын
Yes you can apply as a remote worker! However, when I reached out to MDEC, they did say that there’s a slimmer chance of your application being accepted if you’re not somehow related to the tech field. However, you can def still apply
@juhaidakamil21465 ай бұрын
hi. Can i ask, do the application need to have multiple employment contracts or can have 1 contract to apply for the visa?
@sairathemusafir5 ай бұрын
You can show multiple contracts with different clients, as long as your annual income is the minimum amount per year.
@juhaidakamil21465 ай бұрын
@@sairathemusafir i see. if the application only has 1 contract under 1 company can? and are the application can only work from home or remotely right? Cannot come to office is it?
@sairathemusafir5 ай бұрын
@@juhaidakamil2146 yes, you can still apply if you have one contract with one client or employer. Yes this is for remote workers only, not if you’re going to the office. Also, please keep in mind that your chances of getting accepted are much higher if you are in a tech/IT related field.

Do we need to show some sort of funds when you said $24000 all together? Or a monthly 2000 dollar income reflecting in bank would do?
@sairathemusafir5 ай бұрын
I think as long as your work contract shows an income of $24000 per year, you’re good to go!

We used airbnb, but now we realize companies like that should be boycotted. You can also find a local agent to help you find a place. Just make sure you visit the apartment and check everything before you sign a long-term lease.

@@sairathemusafir yes trying to avoid using airbnb because of the boycott. Do you have any leads for the local agents? Malacca, penang or KL

@@bushraaraashed I’m very sorry I don’t and I wouldn’t want to give a random name and lead you in the wrong directions. I know UK schools are SO strict about letting kids go on holiday during the academic year. You can try it out during summer holidays? Our kids are school age, and since I'm a teacher by profession I actually homeschool them for now. iA one day we plan to put them back in traditional schools once we settle somewhere, but for now this works great for us!

You can do home education in the UK as well but LA / doesn't pay for home education kids that means parents have to pay for tuition/ teaching , materials & extra curriculum activities also parents have to make a report and submit to a local home education officer once a year. 😢
