Judge Judy used an interesting legal term when the defendant mentioned that he had a contract, she said it was usurious. It means to lend money or finance something at unreasonable rates. @@billdavis6900 That is true. Yet I've seen JJ on similar occassions enforcing the written contract and say "well you signed it, you should have read it". that's a bit unfair, hard of hearing is very subjective and people usually catch parts of the sentences, and from his facial expression was super-clear he has a problem to concentrate, for what is she saying, trying to lip read. Believe, I'm hard of hearing myself, and I know when someone pretends. This guy doesn't.
@TheTruthiest

@nerrti2073
@nerrti2073 Жыл бұрын
@@TheTruthiest Maybe becouse the plaintiff is right next to him and has different type of voice? Hearing is subjective thing, and hearing loss covers wide spectrum of factors, like distance, pitch/depth of voice, the way room echoes. Hearing losses are various, some people lose hearing sensitivity to higher pitch, others to deeper. I grow up tired to explain people why I don't have a problem in some circumstances and in other I have, there's plenty of reasons. I always had a hard time to understand men with deep voices, because my hearing loss is mostly in deeper sounds, but people are confused, because those men are usually louder then for example some high pitched women.
