An achievement would only come when it was earlier set as a goal. So if I set getting married in my 30yrs as a goal & I do get married in my 30s, it becomes an achievement on my goal list, not the marriage itself, if I also set not having a divorce in my marriage as a goal and I successfully work towards keeping my marriage for 30yrs or more, it becomes an achievement on my goal list that calls for celebration. If I set having kids after 2yrs of being married because i intend to get a masters degree and I start having kids 9months after getting married I've failed on that goal and I automatically have a distorted plan of getting my degree but I've gotten a child as a blessing. An achievement is an actualised goal. We all went to school but only a few graduated with 1st class and most times those set of people had a goal to graduate topping their peers, while some just wanted to finish sch and wear the NYSC uniform as their own achievement. It's a great topic that needs to be mainstreamed to help ease the tension and pressure around marriage for the unmarried folks. *NB* I'll advise you to position your camera properly on a more elevated platform for best angles and focus. Marriage is an achievement!! You count one first before you count two... Number 1: If you ever desired to be married, it is an achievement to you when you eventually do, cos it also Play a great part in purpose fulfilment. Number 2: How you get married and what you do after the wedding makes it a better achievement. Be it of African race or of the western part of the world, once you are not a Catholic priest, you will definitely desire to be married. I desire to Marry and I believe it will be an achievement and getting married to the right person will be a better achievement.
