There's lots of good stone lifters at present. Thing is, stones are always the last event and athletes pick up injuries in the events before. Others (lately Thor, with exception of WSM where he was injured), by the time they get to the final event, they only have to comfortably lift 4 out of 5 to win the whole thing. Hold up. 4:30 these times are off. If you slow down the footage martins time is recorded when his hands are off the stone. 18:73. Mateusz's time was basically recorded as soon as the stone hit the podium if you slow it down to 0.25 seconds. So the times are 100% wrong despite mateusz still winning. So that time of 16;09 is unfairly given. Double checking on camera's should be done before claiming records.
