In pastured pigs, it’s generally accepted that any lard that melts at room temp is heart healthy.
Room temp is varying number though!
Watch AMBA President, Laura Jensen, in her USDA Inspected butcher shop (Jensen Reserve) test this theory!
Called Ban YO in Chinese, Meishan Leaf Lard IS a premium….
And for qualifying AMBA Member Breeders, eligible for our AMBA Certified Meishan Pork value added logo.
