@@ninethreefivesix maybe it's for some abilities that got unnecessarily nerfed to be normal again, while some primary fire or abilities (like widow needing to charge a bit higher to one shot 225/250 targets, or sojourns railgun) remain slightly/largely nerfed

​@Glickstick just changing it back to her ult would do a lot, than change valk up to make it an ability. Say, it lasts 6 seconds on a 15 second cooldown or something. While keeping rez the way it is now, just as an ult, having valk as an ability would help you get it off while still making it possible to interrupt like other ults

@@abrawolf This is the (pardon my bluntness) worst Mercy rework suggestion and I'm tired of seeing it. Valkyrie as an E ability is a horrible idea for Mercy. Her entire skill ceiling reolves around using GA to stay alive and Valk on E would just be a get-out-of-jail free button that she doesn't need. She doesn't need more survivability she needs an E ability that lets her make plays/impact in the midfight like Ana nade and sleep, Lucio amp, Kiri suzu, etc. And Rez on ult is also horribly niche and unfun. You guys must not remember that we literally tested this concept on Experimental and it was trash. They just need to replace her Rez with a new E ability that's actually balanced and interactive for Mercy, and then when she uses Valkyrie give her ONE charge of rez with a short cast time. The end. It's not that complicated.

@SirenRyan yeah but the change needs to be realistic. They're NEVER going to take her rez out of the equation because it's a part of her hero identity and the heros fantasy and if they changed mercies rez now, they'd have to go back and tweak a lot of other heros if they opened the flood gates which will piss off all of those heros players. It's like if they got rid of sombras invisibility, which also isn't healthy but can at least be managed in theory. With valk on e, it gives the devs knobs to turn for balancing, from cooldown to duration, to numbers both in and out of valk. Like, maybe they increase bullet damage while she's valking so that she has an offensive cooldown of some sort, of lower her healing outside of valk and raise it inside of it so that she's forced to use the cooldown for her teammates more often than using it for a guardian angel reset

At this point dmg boost is just holding Mercy back. They nerfed her movement because she was surviving too much which meant higher uptime for dmg boost, they nerfed her healing because it meant she can stay on dmg boost longer, so keeping her sub par at best is their only way to not have her be overpowered. I feel like they should just remove the ability or make it only available in her ult form and have her dual wield with her pistol. This lets her provide more damage instead of boosting other people's damage which has created problems (Sojourn) and adds another layer of difficulty when using the character. She even has a duel wielding highlight intro since the game came out.

No? Her ult didn't heal "5 more than her base" it just did 60 HPS. And it still does 60 HPS. Valk was 60 HPS even when Mercy had 60 HPS back in OW1. It doesn't automatically go higher because she got a heal buff.

As a mercy player, I 100% would be ecstatic to have her health brought down to 200, have her current buffs (hps 60 and 30% db) and also revert GA to 1.5 CD regardless of tech used (no 2.5 sec cd or whatever it is) To compensate for the now inability to get rez off due to her lower hp, I think reduce the cast time of rez to 2 sec down from 2.75 or whatever it is. Just make things a little more efficient uk? I think that’d put her in a great spot

mercy needs a complete rework. if they made valk an ability and rez an ult she would be so much fun. 15 second cooldown for 3 seconds of valk (beam no longer chains), ammo reset on use (instead of infinite). rez casts 50% faster and damage reduction during cast time. the hypermobility would make her so much more versatile. as she will be more able to do dps and tend to far away allies. it discourages hardpocketing and mitigates frustrations with rez as well. unfortunately i highly doubt the devs have the balls to do anything to her because of how stigmatized mercy and her playerbase are and will continue to let her suffer :/

Let's be real here. ML just got lucky the widow missed considering his rez starting position. Rez also has a 30 second cd which is longer than every ability in this game iirc. You'd have your ability back before she could rez again. She also has limited movement during rez which makes her an easy target. It is not OP, frustrating yes. OP? No. Besides, most mercys I've seen are awful with positioning and prioritizing correctly and that includes masters and above lobbies. It shouldn't be hard to kill her with the current meta unless the mercy player is particularly skilled.
