Does anyone ever talk about what happened to Gootecks? That change was surreal - feels like him and mike used to talk about dealing with racism (even if jokingly - like the United airlines bit) to then going full maga ?
@kyleparton46103 ай бұрын
@@HowlGough Idk all the details but i remember he posted some right leaning content on twitter and a bunch of high up ppl from the fgc got mad at him and blackballed him, which made it difficult for some of his friends in that community to be public friends with him out of fear of losing viewers and gaining controversy themselves. He was also banned on twitch and they even removed the poggers emote just because he shared differnt views and showed support to the other guy. He had a mental breakdown because he essentially had his livelyhood taken from him from doing nothing wrong but expressing his political opinion. It just so happened to not be the right one in the eyes of the community. So much for being tolerant or trying to reach out to him personally to talk things out. Fgc did him dirty in my opinion.

@@atlas-3012 I dont agree with gootecks or the Jan 6 ppl but i saw a lot of ppl supporting the blm riots and never got the same punishment. @@sunzet4640 He was the cool guy even back then, wtf are you talking about? He's always had connections. @@Pax_Mayn3 It's not that he wasn't a guy with connections, I'm saying compared to everyone else that was a big name that he worked with, he was immature and made a fool of himself a pretty good number of times, especially the fact that lots of people never wanted to ever watch him play, they watched him for his personality and his rage.
