@@louisfalcone5494 ...you really have little understanding of the situation do you.. sick people dying probably want to spend their last days with loved ones or at least being happy. And many things that would need testing can be thrown off by having the subject be sick and dying. if anything, your idea is significantly more inhumane because you want to call for the 'torture' of someone who is already sick and dying. denying them any sense of peace before death. I'm sure their loved ones will not be happy to hear that they died miserable and suffering because Louis Falcone didn't want to disturb a mouse. meanwhile these mice literally can not survive in the wild and setting them free will only sentence them to death. They are specifically bred for the sole purpose of living in captivity. stopping testing on animals such as mice will not help anyone or anything except your personal feelings. it will severely impede the progress of scientific research and give absolutely nothing in return.

Assuming the brain works similar to a computer in that it fires off signals and the way it goes decides how a person thinks... I guess so? Though considering the 3D scan of a mouse brain filled like 2 petabytes of a harddrive, I don't see it happening. Edit: Think like adding a certain thought pattern or a stimuli to a sensory input. Like, when you see red, you feel afraid. I could see that happening. But the brain would also change over time, so this might not be persistent. The brain is very malleable

indeed it's possible although wether humanity or E.T is fully capable of this is unknown. Both have very powerful means of mind control it comes down to transmitting the frequency our brains are on and it's very complex this is why it's unknown if 100 percent mind control is possible. each individual has different degrees of potential to block or overcome these effects. bottom line yes mind control exists and it's a very very uncomfortable truth in a category with other things where ethics do not apply.

The in-laws and half my family abandoned all of their values and wrote off decades long friendships and relationships because of perceived differences politically. The tv news is the one variable they seem to have in common. I can’t back it up, but I feel like television news viewers have been changed somehow. I know how dumb that sounds. But these people were discerning, educated, liberal and open minded people. Now they can’t hold two consistent thoughts in their heads at once and get angry when the incongruence is pointed out. They’ve also lost all ability to concede points and angrily defend concepts they themselves never held before hearing it on tv. Mother in law thought defund the police was so ridiculous that it must be a right wing conspiracy theory. The very next time I came she was defending it as the only logical choice. She did admit she’d never want to live in a city that did that, but refused to see how it might be condescending to say it’s okay for that to happen in a city of people who don’t look like her. I happen to be a brown man, but the new illiberal left feels it appropriate to say I’m not, or that Larry elder is not black if we don’t fit their stereotypes and they feel righteous instead of ashamed while saying this. That just has to be some type of mind control. I’m not even a trump voter, but I get written off by family for not changing from my liberal days supporting Clinton and JFK style liberalism. I’m a 90s San Francisco liberal for gods sake. But now I’m called “far right” by my low information brother in law.

@@ashley4372 thank goodness for notifications, right? TMS is (very) basically using electromagnetic pulses to retrain your brain into better neural paths hoping to reroute or short-circuit the part that's causing the depression. They use it for folx who have 'intractable' depression - you've tried a bunch of meds and they don't work so hey, stick this electromagnet on your head and let us zap you a lot with it. Doesn't work for everyone, sometimes you have to go in for boosters, and it's expensive-- BUT my insurance covered it (thanks Obama!) and I know three people who still breathe because of it - including myself five years (0 boosters) later.

True mind control, like in the movies, should be theoretically possible but practically ... It would just involve way too much. Influence and conditioning are easier. That said, given how sloppy psychopharmacology and psychotherapy are in diagnosing and treating mental disorders, i would happily go straight to a more direct "fix" even if it were more invasive. Anyone who has struggled with significant intractable mental illnesses probably feels the same way. (Well, we might just exclude people with paranoia or certain delusions as a symptom from that generalization.)

The Cia can do this wirelessly via the manipulation of the electromagnetic spectrum or elf waves. They combine this with the auditory effect to synthesize a voice in your head they play high pitch noises and depict realities that aren't real effectively putting one under hypnosis. Its a current off the books Cia operation. All Cia experiments on psychological all lead to a certain progression to mind control. This is happening to me right now. The Havana attacks at our US embassy is the samething. People often confuse this as a neural implant as it introduces your conscience to an ai effectively pairing them. They reprogram your body's natural responses by mere suggestion or fright introduction. They have control of your other senses because they use combinations of technology and there dark history of past experiments. The Cia effectively puts people like this under every past psychological study experiments via the new front tier of technology.
